First time here and it won't be my last. Great food and massive portions. Bartender took fantastic care of us.

My bookclub decided on this spot due to the location being a middle ground for all of us and since they're apart of Devour Indy, it seemed like a great idea! We were greeted and sat promptly, it wasn't super busy but had a continuous crowd throughout our visit. Our server, Cassidy was nice and is one of the reasons that I had to settle on 3 stars for this review. I can truly describe our meal as a bit underwhelming and bland. I could only get through two of the Deon's Egg Rolls and nearly had to drench them in the horseradish sauce to make them flavorful. My Hot Honey Brussels Sprouts were perfect and were the only thing I finished, the large onions on my 50/50 Patty Melt were a bit over powering. One of the ladies took a few bites of her Beef Stroganoff and just left it...Salads were good from what they said and so was their famous coffee cake that comes with an entree salad. Overall, not sure if we'll be ordering any of those items again if we do find ourselves coming back.

My mom and I stopped in for a late lunch on Saturday and were seated right away in a clean, comfy booth. They were still serving brunch and that menu looked great, but I was in the mood for a turkey sandwich so I got the Malibu Melt. The homemade bread was great and I was impressed with the selection of sides to choose from. I'd been craving French onion soup recently do I ordered that and it hit the spot. My mom got the buffalo chicken sandwich special, which was a great deal: $10 for the sandwich and side! Great visit, nice menu, and friendly staff!

My party of 4 met here for dinner during Devour. Three of us ordered off of the Devour menu and one opted for the Taco Tuesday special instead. Abigail was our waitress. She was new, but did a great job and was attentive to our needs. I went with the House Wedge for a starter, Dos Carnes & Cornbread for my entree, and the Buffalo Trace Bread Pudding for my dessert. It liked every bit of it. The salad was huge and fresh with just the right amount of bacon crumble and dressing. The savory Dos Carnes and Cornbread was seasoned well and yummy. The bread pudding was equally as pleasing. I also tried the non alcoholic State Fair Shakeup drink. It was disappointing, but the food made up for it. Others in my party really enjoyed their meals as well. Service was fast and friendly. Some of the party were first timers, but said they'll be back!

First time trying this place and wow it was good. The selection of food was extensive but I settled for the Chicken Avocado Quesadilla which was quite tasty. I read great reviews on the sour cream coffee cake so I got a piece to go. Unfortunately, my piece wasn't very good. It tasted like it was three days old and kind of hard instead of a soft sour cream coffee cake that I'm used to. I went with a party of five and everybody was happy with their meals. We had excellent service. The decor is old school bar type, nothing fancy.

    Sunday Chicken Dinner

Location: 65th & Keystone. First bad meal I've ever had at Sahm's. I ordered the Sunday chicken dinner and it was nothing short of gross. The pieces came out dark and burnt, the meat itself had some weird marinade type taste and sweetness to the coating but the coating had no flavor. I questioned if it had been re-heated by dropping back in the fryer. Baked potato also had a weird flavor and definitely tasted re-heated. Sent the very burnt thigh back and you can see all the removed excess coating on the side was removed from the chicken breast. This place was my go to because you could get consistently good food but something has drastically changed - at least with this meal. One of the gals at our table told the waitress she was allergic to tomatoes and the rice pilaf came out topped with tomatoes. What??? Wondering if they're under new ownership?

    Indiana BLT Alaskan Clam Chowder
    Ashli A.

A nice option if you want a quick bite Got the Indiana BLT which had crispy bacon and bread was perfectly toasted -- with a side of the Alaskan clam chowder. Not a big fan of the chowder, it didn't have any flavor and had an oatmeal texture which wasn't my jam. If I got the soup brought to me I would have assumed it was a potato mush soup since the potatoes were more prominent than the clams. Service was good and food, but won't get the Alaskan clam chowder again.

Tried Sahm's Place as we were picking something up at Sullivan's Hardware and also we wanted to check out The Reef Aquarium shop. Easily accessible parking, quick service. The inside is dated and needs an update. My wife tried the Pork Poutine. It was a generously sized appetizer that she had for a meal. I've never had Poutine before. She said she liked it. I had the breaded tenderloin with fries. The tenderloin had a decent meat to breading ratio but lacked seasoning. It was served hot. The roll it was served on looked and tasted good. The fries were home cut and pretty good. They could have used some salt as well. Overall passable but not a destination and not sure I'd be back. There are alot of places in this price range for a sit down restaurant for lunch that would jump up further on my list.

We came here tonight for a date night. As always, it was great. Food: My husband got the fish and chips, solid 10/10 every time. He loves that he can get the fried mushrooms as a side. I decided to be adventurous because I'm the foodie and I got their special of Hot Currywurst. While the "wurst" was a little much for me, the sauces and fries made up for it. Amazing curry ketchup and other sauces elevated the already crisp and yummy fries to a new level. If they put that curry ketchup and sauce on like a chicken sandwich or pulled pork, that would be phenomenal. So, the sauces got me and I would rate my meal as a solid 8/10. ***There was a sizzling chicken dish that other tables got that I will need to try next time. It smelled amazing and sounded like a fajita pan wafting through the dining room. Overall-great value, fun atmosphere and our server was very nice and attentive. Can't wait to go back and try something else!

This Sahm's location is always top notch whether you are there for brunch, lunch, or dinner. Service is speedy and very friendly. I am also a big fan of the $5 and below food menu from 3-5PM and 8:30PM-close daily. I like taking any one of their salads and tuning it into a wrap with a side. Along with the weekly specials for food there are also daily beer/drink specials. There is something for everyone on the menu here.

Being at the REV event last year I was able to try the famous Sahm's coffee cake. Oh my it's so good! A year later someone told me that each meal comes with a slice of it. That's a nice touch! You can buy while coffee cakes as well as a three piece or a single piece. It is so soft and light! Anyway for the food the chefs salad was delicious! I loved the ranch and the cucumbers they even cut the seeds out of them! Wow! The star of that salad is the chicken. I loved how they sliced it and that it was thin and crispy. Delicious! The tostadas with the southwest chicken were just as good. The salsa was also great that it came with. I guess they have lunch specials also. Looking over the menu the chicken salad must be a favorite. They have so much on the menu and I will keep them in mind for coffee cakes for special occasions to buy! YUM! Other people need to taste that delicious cake. Loved Sahm's!!!

The moment I walked in the doors of Fire & Ice I knew Yelp did me good! The space is bright with a modern farmhouse feel to it. There's a fireplace, lounge seating, tables and chairs, and even a bar area (that's where I decided to sit). The ladies behind the counter were nice and gave me some recommendations. I went with their banana bread latte with oat milk and one of their biscuit sandwiches with egg and American cheese. Both were absolutely delicious and I would order again. I'll add that the restroom was clean, but the wifi wasn't that great. I ended up using my hotspot while I was there. This place is also women-owned and totally gluten free. Seriously, I had no idea until a friend told me a few days later. They're clearly a lot of things right!

There are a variety of tables, also some comfy corner chairs. You order at the counter then they'll bring food to you. We all got (plain) coffee. There's a small sugar station on the end of the counter, but you have to ask for cream. I also told a staff member none of us had been there before, and asked were there coffee refills (since the rest was specialty coffee drinks) or do we pay? She said we can have one refill if we come up. My friends got gluten free egg/biscuit sandwiches. The hubs got a crepe with strawberries, bananas and more in it. I ordered the Galette Bretonne - which is described as "a savory light Buckwheat crepe with City ham, Gruyere cheese, with sunny side up egg" and also comes with a side salad. Our food came fairly quickly. The crepe was visually pretty. The biscuit sandwiches looked like they had nice fluffy biscuits (and, gluten free!) - but they were on the small side (smaller than an egg mcmuffin). My galette looked nice but not like the photo (see pics of mine & one from their web) - and the egg inside was well done, definitely not sunny side up or even medium. I don't mind harder cooked eggs, but the whole effect was very dry, so I went to the counter to ask for some syrup. The server told me that he would have to charge me for it. I said fine, yes please, because my dish is so dry it's unedible without it. So he went back in the kitchen and did bring me out a small side dish of syrup (see also pic of that, for size). I had my credit card ready, but he said "this one's on me." I thanked him and sat down to eat. ... and yes, that syrup was just the trick to make the dish delicious! So this is the thing that makes a whole experience "meh" as opposed to "really nice": Between me & my hubs, our food and plain coffees were $42. (My friends paid separately for theirs.) For that price and just counter service, if a guest asks for a small side of syrup for the food, there should not be a side charge. I think the server who gave it to me realized that (but I would have paid it anyway because the meal was just too dry without it) ... But here's the thing - there was another staff member at the counter when my server gave me that little side of syrup. She heard him say "no charge this time," and her expression absolutely changed, and she looked mad that he did not charge me, and like she was about to say something (but didn't). Guess what? I absolutely saw that. And I totally feel like she was not only mad, but also that he might get reprimanded for it. (Might I add, we were also there when it was NOT busy at all, so there was nothing about the atmosphere that was rushed or hectic - although that souldn't matter, either.) And yes, of course when I went back to the table, I relayed that story to my other 3 companions. A little (little!) customer service goes a long way. And also is easily a deciding factor of whether or not a place gets a revisit. There are so many other places to try. #ReviewsByRL

Because, really: Who expects a restaurant in a garden store to be good? No one. But Sully's strives for greatness among the fertilizer and patio furniture, and it exceeds that greatness. I was told that the brisket sandwich was great, and it did look really good, but I was feeling like chicken. So I got the herbed lemon chicken salad sandwich, which was an excellent choice. I will be thinking about that chicken salad for a long time. The multi-grain bread that it was on was toasted, and it comes with a side, and I chose a salad, which was lightly and perfectly dressed. They have a kids menu, which includes things like a giant pretzel and pancakes. My kids got one of each. Sully's also has a large cocktail and beer menu, and the great thing is that you can just get a drink and walk around the store, sipping your drink as you ponder whether you really do need that Big Green Egg.
