These tacos are the best around for the price. My #1 spot to go to for a taco lunch. Fresh food, good salsa and condiment bar. If you want a light meal just get two. I came here on a whim on my lunch break from work thinking there was a drive thru like Yelp says. You do have to walk in and place your order. I waited over 30 minutes for my food, so not ideal if you don't have the time to spend. Portion size for the price was not very big, but the food was really good. This is my go to for a green chili burrito. The chili has just the right amount of heat and plenty of flavor. They are a super small location and when they get busy your food can take a while, but it's worth it. My only concern is that when you get take out it's not consistent. For example, today I got lettuce tomato sour cream and guacamole with my burrito. Other times I've only received lettuce, Times before that no garnish. read more

We had crispy tacos (actually fresh-fried, not pre-made shells) stuffed with shredded chicken and beef, plus a really good guacamole tostada. All were topped with shredded cheese and fresh lettuce & tomatoes. Saw a lot of traffic while passing multiple times so had to try- Clean and quick service and friendly- got burritos and an enchilada- burritos were decent but lacked that extra kick or sauce which would be nice. Meat was well cooked- both carnitas and chicken- enchilada was ok, nothing special. The food in this little taco shop is super good! There are also right next to a car wash so while you're having your car detailed you can sit here and eat. What separates them from other taco shops is that they're cooking and the quality of me is superb. The food is very tasty and not bland. They also have a fresh bar where you can get fresh salsa cucumbers limes cilantro and onions. We got a breakfast burrito with bacon potato and egg, and I can't answer a burrito and then I went to the Fixin's bar and added some shredded cabbage and salsa. Two words: Salsa Bar!! They are my two favorite words when it comes to Mexican fare. We tried their breakfast burritos today and they were delicious! They were reminiscent of El Sol in Chandler which is a Mexican food staple for me. The tortillas were thin, a little chewy, and held up to all the fillings and didn't burst or leak while eating. I ordered the eggs, ham and beans in my burrito. The ham is in large chunks that are seared on the grill. The beans are nicely seasoned and not too salty. I fell in love with their chunky red mild salsa on the salsa bar. I also really enjoyed the fresh onions and pickled onions available on the bar. If you're looking for a thinner salsa, they have a red and green available in squeezable containers in the fridge next to the salsa bar. We can't wait to try their tacos! read more

Visited from Seattle and it was fabulous. We had nachos and fish, shrimp, and asada tacos. I had the nachos with asada as an appetizer and it was plenty of food. Only complaint was it came out about 10 minutes before my friends' tacos. Maybe because it's technically an appetizer? The restaurant is clean and service is friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. Good variety at the fresh salsa bar. Recommendation: label the salsas. Tasty burritos- It was too big so I was only able to eat half for lunch, so I got 2 meals for $7

Unexpectedly great from top to bottom, especially for something attached to a car wash. The cashier was extremely friendly, cordial and conversational. She discussed many of her favorite menu items upon request, and accepted custom orders with pleasure. The power was out, which was causing issues with the ATM and credit machines, for which she was very apologetic, and offered several solutions even though the issue was not the restaurant's fault. The beverage selection is surprisingly large! They have homemade sangria and margarita, as well as a large selection of Jumex, Jarritos, and other ethnic bottles, as well as a standard Coke products fountain (and of course glass bottle Coke). Another great feature is the salsa and toppings bar which is free for you take take as much as you want. Not a huge selection of salsas, but it's a nice feature hat I've been seeing disappear over the years. The prices are CHEAP! Not just given the high quality of food, but also in general. Most tacos are $1.75, and burritos are $4-$5 I ordered a varied selection of tacos, and they tasted as good as they looked, which was EXCELLENT. The only possible downside I can see to this place is the very limited seating. Even so, I came at Noon on a Monday which I would imagine to be prime time, and I had no problem finding a seat. read more

Lived here 25 years. This is, without question, the best fish taco I've found so far. You have to be patient for all the food (meaning 10 minutes) as it's all made fresh, slowly and lovingly. I've only had the fish and al pastor tacos, but I can say that more ingredients do not a better taco make! The fish tacos are crispy, fresh, tender inside, juicy, the most flavorful I've ever had, with freshly cut cabbage and a light sauce. Their green sauce is an excellent compliment (as is Tapatillo - the only bottled sauce they carry, which itself attests to their gustatory excellence). My friends had Mexican scrambled eggs and huevos rancheros - the huevos were also the best I've ever had, excellent eggs, and their potatoes could be a meal in themselves. Outstanding fresh maiz tortillas, and, truly, if they didn't close so early, I'd eat dinner there all of the time. The condiments bar is clean, as is the entire restaurant. Also, you can get your car washed while you eat, or a haircut, keys made, all in the same locale, Lastly - sorry if I offend any women, but I'm a guy, and I love women - you can eat while you watch the lovely women in bikinis taking orders 50 feet away at Bikini Beans Coffee!! ;-) read more

I got one of each: pastor, lengua, saguaro (their house taco), and at the suggestion of the girl behind the counter grilled chicken. The pastor and saguaro were my fav of the two: would def order again. Boyfriend got three pastor and one fish: he loved it all and said the fish was a GREAT taco! Would come again. If you're just looking for some tasty tacos you can't go wrong with this place. They've got a nice little salsa bar too. It can get a little pricey if you're adding on beans and rice but everything I've had here has been delicious. I am looking forward to trying the enchiladas next time I'm here. The salsa is delicious, and the tortillas are wonderful. The prices are insanely cheap .
