Love this restaurant and its combination of Vietnamese and Thai options. But the real winner here is the wonderful vegan menu (thanks to G & T for telling me about it). The servers are super attentive and wait times are often less than 10 minutes for food.

Drunken noodles with a 1 indicating some heat level tasted great but absolutely no heat, that was dissapointing. Very good soup, not sure what it was but it had a coconut taste with a nice heat to it, delicious! Service was attentive and friendly as always. I wasn't keen on the bug zapper racquet being swung around upfront by tge register, even if there were only 3 tables being served.

Quick seating. Party was six. Instant refreshments. Friendly service, willing to answer dietary questions. Heard from family that the Pad Thai, Wonton Soup, Spring Rolls, and Chicken Fried Rice was all very tasty, warm, and comforting. I ordered the Thai Garden with brown rice and no peanut sauce. Veggies were warm and soft. Very good restaurant for a family and friend get together.

I was looking for a restaurant that would satisfy my parents and daughter. Surprised to see a restaurant that offers the best of both worlds. Vietnamese and thai food. Restaurant was busy, they're located in the shopping area. We were greeted upon entering and was seated right away. It was chilly inside the restaurant, I looked like I just came from the beach with tank top and shorts on. We ordered pho, my daughter requested no noodles. Thai wings, ban xeo, and pad thai. Everything was delicious, however pho was on the salty side. I had to fix my daughter soup, she doesn't know how to mix ingredients well yet.

Their Pad Thai was average however, the star of the show was the Coconut Soup. Just a delicious flavor and tasted especially good on a cold evening. A must try if you eat at this restaurant. The fried was nothing special. The place could have been cleaner. Service was spotty at best. There are just so many better restaurants in this busy category, so I won't be returning.

We had a delivery order of vegetable basil udon, fried tofu, tempura vegetables and chicken pad see-eew. We also ordered two cups of Thai ice tea one with milk and one without and there was a dollar difference in the charge. The vegetable udon was heavily coated in a "basil" sauce. I requested mild but it gave you options. The vegetables included button mushrooms, peppers and carrots. I wouldn't order it again and compared to the pad Thai I've eaten there, well there is no comparison. The tempura vegetables were poorly coated in batter and oily. Again I wouldn't order them again. The fried tofu was lacking flavor and not very crispy. Sadly not the best fried tofu I've ever had. We couldn't tell the difference between the two teas. They tasted and looked the same. I'm not sure if it was a mistake or we couldn't tell because our pallets weren't discerning enough or we just got charged an extra dollar for the same thing. The chicken pad-eew was described to me as " alright for takeout but probably wouldn't be for sit down." So I've always like Saigon Bangkok when I have eaten there. However I don't think I will order delivery again.

Update 10/30/21: The best Thai food in the Northtowns. Consistent and creative cooking. Always come away satisfied. My friend and I ordered two dishes from the Daily Specials menu. The sizzling steak was a good choice. Tender pieces of beef in a delicious soy based sauce grilled with veggies. Sizzling it was! The other entree we ordered was the Thai "drunken noodles" with chicken. Something different from the usual pad Thai noodles. Can't say I loved this dish. Not enough noodles for starters. Taste-wise, good. Service is pleasant. Atmosphere is simple. Nothing on the walls. As long as the food is delicious, that's ok.

A little bit of everything on this menu - some better than others but their pad thai and drunken noodles don't disappoint!

I called to tell the restaurant that we were going to have 30 people come in on a random weekday, and they were able to loop off an area for our party without an issue. The owner was very friendly and gave tips on the area as well as general, very appreciated life advice. Appetizers: we got eggrolls and garlic noodles for everyone. Solid egg rolls, and my partner liked the garlic noodles so much that he looked up how to recreate the recipe at home. It's definitely not something you see on a lot of Vietnamese menus, but it's such a unique, Vietnamese-American creation that I'm glad we were able to try it out here! Main course: I got a banh mi xiu mai, because that's something that's almost impossible to find on the east coast, and it was done exceptionally well. The bread (which I was told they bake fresh in-house!) was light and airy on the inside with a thin crispy crust on the outside. I also got an avocado smoothie, which was not too sweet-- everyone saw me get one, taste-tested it, and proceeded to order one as well LOL. Between the 30 of us, we essentially got everything on the menu, and everyone was pleased with their food. I got a lot of comments saying, "This is the best Vietnamese food I've had outside of California," and if you're in the know, you know that's a crazy high compliment! I wish I took pictures of the food, but we were too busy eating and socializing--which is a sign of good food I guess! Would definitely come back if I'm ever craving Viet food and am in the area.

It's been tough to find a good American Chinese restaurant within delivery range. This one is still far from us, but they're on the apps, so it works. We've ordered nine times, so they must be doing something right! We really enjoy their crab rangoons. They're crispy crunchy, but tender...so you're not going to break a tooth. They're also very reasonably priced, you get ten in an order for $8.50. Our favorite in Buffalo so far! Their shrimp egg rolls have nice chunks of shrimp and the dumplings are very flavorful. My husband really likes their sesame beef, but it's oddly expensive. The lo mein is pretty oily and not the best, but I order it anyways because I need noodles. I've ordered several other entrees that were just okay...not horrible, but not good enough to order again. So Ling Ling works for us right now, but I do hope to find a better option.
