So glad that our favorite local Pho spot has reopened. The tables were spaced well over 6 feet apart and were separated by dividers. Hand sanitizer was located on each table. The summer rolls were generously sized and very fresh and delicious. The pho was even better than we remembered. My SO and I ordered the large bowl of rare beef and well done brisket noodle soup. The broth was complex and toppings of bean sprouts, basil and jalapeños were fresh and abundant. Overall, the best pho in town, in a safe and clean location. We will return soon! read more

Our go to Vietnamese place closed due to Covid. We were craving Vietnamese and were out and about on a lovely Saturday and found this place due to Yelp. We are already planning on going back. My husband had the pork banh mi and said it was incredible. The bread was crisp and the meat plentiful. He also had some rice vermicelli dish that surprised him with how much he enjoyed it. I'm just happy he got some fresh vegetables in his body for once. I had the summer rolls and they were on point. My daughter actually ate one whole piece which is shocking in and of itself. I usually go for Pho once a week at my usual spot. Since they have been only doing takeout orders I decided to try a place kind of clothes near me and I was a little disappointed. I have been going to this place for years now at leadt every once a week and can't seem to get tired of their food. The place is very calm and there are dividers between the tables for your privacy while you eat. The service is very good I've gotten to know the owner very well now and he's very funny and welcoming. The food is so good and it's authentic vietnamese. My go-to order is the 73 which is marinated pork with rice and a delicious side salad. I get this with a strawberry shake bubble tea which is so good and I never get tired of it. They have so many options to chose from but that is my all time favorite. Prices are reasonable and the wait time on the food is never more than 15 minutes. Very solid reliable Vietnamese food in the area. As with any Vietnamese spot, the pho is always the benchmark and Saigon Pho certainly passes that test. Portions and meat ingredients are quite generous. The bun here is also very good, whether takeout or dining in - especially with the bbq pork. Spring and summer rolls are also reliably good. Haven't ventured outside of these staples but it's a very constant go-to spot in the area for Vietnamese. They had a good flavor but a little on the small side for the price. For our entrees I had the Vermicelli with grilled marinated pork. Today I kept it simple and got the beef and meatball pho. The broth salty and full of flavor. On top of that noodles were a nice chewy al dente. I've been to a bunch of food places and never did I have a bad experience like I did in this restaurant. First of all, our server didn't write down our orders and ended up messing up one of them. When we brought it up the server said "it's because you ordered too many." Then we asked the server for a few things such as spoon&forks, water, bowls, etc. and they demanded that if we need anything else we should just tell them all at once because they're busy. I used to come here all the time several times a week. In the past the White onions are separate but scallions and cilantro are mixed. I always get the same thing and ask for no white onions as the flavor overpowers a bit for me. Now suddenly they mix them all and always have and there's no way to separate (onions are crescent slices and cilantro and scallions are smaller so I don't know why they'd be mixed) I tried to clarify as I was confused and I asked if maybe I could speak to someone else as I thought he might not be understanding me maybe a translation issue. Instead he got frustrated and walked away saying "fine you go". So I left. I feel like a Karen leaving this review but I was already having a hard day and pho is my go to for comfort and the 3 minute experience left with me feeling confused and humiliated. Possible that they have improved on some things in the last year (since some of the most critical reviews are from 1-2 years ago). Service was friendly and prompt both times. The Pho was good, I did get thirsty, but it was decently seasoned in my opinion. We've also had the egg rolls, and the beef roll with peanut sauce, which is currently my favorite appetizer there. Their entrees are larger than some other Viet counterparts in the area. We tried the lemongrass beef and seafood with crispy noodles - both pretty good. For those of you new to pho, you're supposed to throw in a bit of the brown sauce and a bit of sriracha into the soup to taste. Then squeeze the lime and add the Thai basil leaves and bean sprouts (I prefer mine without). The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because the chicken was dark meat and too chewy for my taste (which I understand many people say has more flavor) but I was expecting white meat. So far, this is the FIRST restaurant to whereas the staff allows you to BYOB because they don't serve alcoholic beverages WORD???? (Too bad we found out after the fact) We ordered the tofu and avocado rolls as an appetizer. They arrived quick however, they forgot to include the avocado We had standard dishes: chicken fried rice & shrimp rice noodles. A bit on the salty side but edible. The 2 thin pork chops...more like pork jerky The chops tasted like it was slightly air dried prior to hitting the grill. This imparted a "stiffer" texture to the pork, that grilling brought out the sweetness of the pork. The meat was not overcooked so it did not taste burnt, but had a hint of smoke. Really good.
