Beef brisket pho with a vegan broth. Incredible. Changed my view on vegan broth. I think it may be better than beef!

Surprisingly, this place hits the spot (as a Vietnamese-American)! I think it's the best pho restaurant in the area! It's super healthy. They make a homemade vegan broth and you can add their brisket which they cook for hours so it's nice and tender. Not only that, we tried their dumplings - 100% so good. Even my mom approves of it! The food is as if we made it at home. The owners are so friendly and you can tell how much work and love they put into their restaurant. Stephen is the owner and so happy to support him and his business! My family will 100% be regulars. I have been waiting for a good pho place to open near us.

I usually like this place but today I picked up food and started eating my egg drop soup and this was in it. Pretty grossed out. Do better.

I can hardly wait to return! I've been driving by every day looking at the PHO sign and finally got the chance to take my 3 kids tonight. We ate like kings: brisket Pho, Orange chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Steamed Chicken with Broccoli, Wontons, spring rolls, Vietnamese Iced Tea...it was all perfect. The chef came out and was great company as well as the waitress.

Very pleasant and super helpful picking out a meal. The best part was the food - so aromatic and everything was very well balance. That would be a genuine thank you and greeting. Menus adorn the wood tables. The art on the walls seems to be reminiscent of another restaurant but no matter. The smiles are genuine and they have foods that no one has in NJ. I'm getting a stir fry with lamb and basil. The bubble tea (coconut) with soft and chewy boba charms. Not cloying. Not overly sweet. Nor too cold. A lively aperitif perhaps. The coconut goes down easily. It would not be over reaching to say that the yellow curry soup is one of the best soups I've enjoyed lately. Each sip is a journey into the heart of darkness. Mysterious and tasty. It comes rife with napa cabbage, fragrant scallion and napped with coconut milk. The stir fried lamb is a pan Asian delight. Its roots firmly in the classics with natural stock and evident love in the kitchen. This is a restaurant that will require deep study because this one meal will lead to many more.

We were seated right away, although the first table felt a bit cramped, and the staff had no problem moving us to a booth. One thing to note is that there appeared to be only two people working the front of the house for the entire restaurant, so they were understandably stretched thin. Our server took our order promptly, and the food arrived surprisingly quickly. However, service was inconsistent throughout the meal. We had to ask for water after being seated for quite a while without any being brought to the table, and the iced coffee I ordered never arrived. I'm not sure if it was missed or simply not heard when ordering. As for the food, it was enjoyable overall. The pho had good flavor, although the accompanying fixings were a little sparse compared to what I've seen elsewhere. My daughter ordered the spring rolls and pork chop over noodles, both of which she enjoyed. Overall, this is a solid spot if you're looking for a quick and tasty meal. Just be prepared for service that may be a bit hit-or-miss during busy times.

I'm glad the food was as good as the reviews I read before coming! We came a little short of an hour before they were closing but the place was lively with 3 other groups of people. Every 2 people shared an order of the fried crispy egg roll which was very good! They are known for the Bun Bo Hue which not a lot of places serve. It was delicious, flavorful and packed with lots of meat. Two of my friends got the Signature Pho with all the different types of meats and it was very good too. I got a grilled pork chop with beef rice vermicelli soup. The grilled pork chop was not too fat and perfectly marinated and grilled. And I'm glad it was on a separate plate rather than in the same bowl as my noodle soup. Then two of my other friends got some rice dishes and they looked yummy too! The Thai iced tea was standard - not too sweet, but not too strong either. Would like to try their other unique drinks next time! FYI - The restaurant has two spacious unisex restrooms for customers in the rear and parking lot in front.

We ordered a Vietnamese coffee, summer rolls, and pho. The Vietnamese coffee had a nice chocolatey flavor, since they were using Trung Nguyên beans. The summer rolls had pork and shrimp which was nice. I got the large combo pho, so it had all the different meats. The broth was average, but i didn't like the rice noodles. They were overcooked so they broke apart as I attempted to pick them up with chopsticks. Pretty average pho overall.

The portions were huge. The broth was excellent, rich, flavorful, and tasted authentic. We also tried the chicken banh mi. The menu doesn't mention it, but they offer chicken, pork, or beef options. The sandwich was delicious, with large, juicy pieces of chicken, pate, soft fresh bread, and lots of flavor in every bite. For dessert, we got the coconut gelato on a cone for $4.99. The scoop was enormous and served on a sugar cone, making it a great way to finish the meal. Highly recommend if you're looking for authentic Vietnamese food with generous portions and good service.

The place was rather empty and appeared to be a converted former chain restaurant. It was clean and we sat at a booth. The menu is extensive and had English translation for what was in each bowl. Most dishes have a large or small choice and for a single person, I'd recommend the small as the large looked immense. I ordered what I thought would be a Pho with broth like a large soup but it was not. I had lots of noodles, meat, greens, and a side of sauce for dipping. It was lively and tasted delicious. I had to take some home as it was too much to handle. I also had a honeydew boba tea which was nice. My friend had the regular chicken pho which, he, too, couldn't finish the small. But both dishes hit the spot visually and taste. Great place if you like this type of food. We'd come back.

It's around $13 per banh mi which is a little higher than some places, but the quality and portion make it worth it 100%. I got the S1 and S8. The S1 was really good and something I would definitely order again. It's my husband's favorite. The S8 was the chicken and it came out warm with steam! A lot of other places make it but it's still cold. I also liked how fresh the ingredients taste. Service takes about 15 to 20 minutes for the order to come out just as a heads up. One Only small critique is the bread. While I like a crispy baguette, this one is a bit too crunchy and can cut the roof of your mouth a little. So don't gobble it down fast like I did. If they made it just slightly less aggressive it would be perfect. Overall I would definitely go back for more.

Parking can be a bit tricky given its location near a major road, but there is metered parking right out front. One thing I really appreciated was the thoughtful packaging. Instead of wrapping everything in paper/foil (which traps steam and softens the bread), they use takeaway containers that keep the banh mi bread crispy and intact. The portions are generous! I don't think I've ever had a bahn mi with so much protein! I personally asked for extra cilantro on some of the sandwiches which is why the cilantro looks so obnoxious in the pictures. Everything was solid and satisfying! The lemongrass chicken bahn mi stood out with its aromatic flavor. The Saigon special bahn mi though, could've used a bit more presence from the mayo and pate to enhance the flavors. Sounds weird, but surprisingly, the sardines in tomato sauce bahn mi was better than it sounds. It was savory and definitely worth trying if you're feeling adventurous. The summer rolls were fresh, clean, and a great complement to the sandwiches. My only note: I wish the pickled carrots and radish had a bit more tang. They leaned mild rather than punchy. Overall, a reliable spot with thoughtful touches and flavorful options. I'd come back again.
