Crispy fried chicken, enough for 3 adults or a family of 4

To start, I won't go back when it's over 75 outside, their air conditioning isn't very great inside. The wonton soup was very good, very generous with lots of shrimp. The crispy fried chicken is quite a large serving. Nothing about it said Vietnamese however. I had hoped for a marinade or perhaps some characteristic seasonings in the batter. I got fairly generic fried chicken chunks, definitely fresh, hot and crispy. It's a nice serving with rice and a goopy sweet and sour sauce.

Hometown USA. Always looking for Asian food close to home and rarely find it. This place I could literally walk to from home. Yea! The food was really good and the service fast and friendly. Green curry was awesome but a bit spicy. The fried egg noodle combination was killer. Definitely eating here again.

really decent ethnic food here; has a local eatery vibe. good service, quiet restaurant at the start of evening service

Vermicelli bowl with beef... and cooked onions? Not the typical vermicelli bowl you'd get at a Vietnamese restaurant

I don't understand the good reviews at this place but they tricked me into having dinner here... Let me just say that this place does not serve authentic Vietnamese food, at least from the one and last dinner I've had here... Next time I'll drive 15 min to Portland to have pho. We got the pho super bowl for $13, which had very little flavor at all. The meats tasted old, there was so little variety of anything in there and they topped it with a pile of cilantro... but the vermicelli bowl was the real kicker. Yes it's a nice portion, way more than we could eat but the meat is not authentic for this dish. It also had grilled onions, if that tells you anything. The beef and onions is what you'd find in a broccoli beef dish at Panda Express. Vermicelli bowls are supposed to be a colder dish that is light with lots of textured. And I didn't get that with this. The service was also not good. No one greeted us when we walked in, nobody even looked up when we entered. We almost walked out after being ignored for so long until the man in the back grabbed 2 menus and raised 2 fingers asking how many were in our party. Also no one refilled our water or asked how we were. The woman working was nice but that's all I can say about the staff. All in all, a bad experience and we will definitely not come back. Maybe the Thai food is better.

I came here off google reviews 4.6 and 500 reviews Well, I don't think this place deserves this high rating pho is salty and flavorless. Beans sprouts had some chemical taste. Spring rolls dry. Spicy beef pho is the same not satisfied with this at all. The service was good and fast.

Pho, in my opinion, is all about the broth first. Saigon Restaurant does it right! Their pho broth is packed with flavor, making each spoonful so tasty. I ordered the chicken pho which came with a solid portion of chicken, noodles, scallions, and white onion. Then I topped it off with bean sprouts, basil, cilantro, and a squeeze of lime. If you like the flavor of chili, I recommend trying their chili condiment for added flavor and spice. Although the restaurant sits in an unassuming strip mall and looks bare bones inside, come here for a hearty bowl of pho! It also helps that they're open later than other pho places in Vancouver.

I requested hot for the curry and medium for the papaya salad. They charged me $4 to add mixed veggies. And their was perhaps two broccoli, onions, carrots and thats it. So $4 for two broccoli... how is that fair? The one positive with the curry was.... the flavor was pleasant. It did not have that overwhelming after taste that ive noticed with yellow curry at most Thai restaurants; and the portion was spot on... no complaints with that. Now the papaya salad was fair. Id say one a 1 to 10 scale it was a 6. It was just all papaya, peanuts, and romain lettuce.... with a little sļice of cabbage. Their was no lime, and no green beans..and again zero spice. Over all the food would absolutely be a 4 or 5 star if it had some chilli pepper.. they did offer me two small chilli oil.... but it did barely any thing to lend any spice to the food. Finally i think they may use msg because i woke middle of the night with dry mouth to where i kept getting up to drink water. The ambience very nice. Its a cute little place. Clean and modern tables and chairs... very nice. The folks working their all seemed friendly and helpful. My bill out the door for takeaway $32.86 I would come back i guess i just need to bring my own chilli peppers to spice my own food. I would like to try some other menu options. Oh they have a separate vegan menu... thats wonderful

I have to say the food was really good. We had the curry puffs, which were flaky, hot and delicious! We had the fat noodle pad Thai with chicken and it had a delicious smoky taste that I've never had before we also got the Thai fried rice with shrimp and the shrimp were cooked perfectly not overcooked and really big! The portions were big enough, but according to all of the reviews, people think it is a small portion, but it is not a small portion we had to take a third of our rice and a third of our pad Thai home The only negative, is the frozen mixed vegetables. Fresh onions and fresh cilantro, but bagged up frozen peas corn and carrots. Go check this place out!

We also ordered an app of crispy egg rolls. Both dishes were freshly prepared and ample. The egg rolls were very slim and a little over priced at $8.00 for 4. The total bill came to $46. before tip. Waitress was nice and very low key, but attentive. Still looking for a Thai restaurant that offer more inventive dishes and Pad Thai with skinny noodles.

We started with a couple Thai mules which were made with a spicy and delicious ginger beer. For food we ordered the Nem Kai from the house specials menu and, after an enthusiastic endorsement, the drunken noodles. Both dishes were amazing. We ordered a few appetizers to share; coconut shrimp, potstickers, chicken satay and BBQ pork fresh salad rolls. Each appetizer came with an appropriate dipping sauce. The food was good, and tasted fresh. The chicken satay was a bit dry, but the curry flavor was perfect and the peanut dipping sauce helped give it a bit of moisture. I feel like the prices were a bit steep. We only ordered one non-alcoholic beverage and 4 appetizers, and the bill was just shy of $80, with tip. I guess I didn't realize how expensive it was since last time I came for Happy Hour. Overall we were happy with our experience here; however, next time we'll make sure we hit Happy Hour for better pricing. Would recommend.
