Grilled Pork Chops
Michelle D.

Place is small and cozy. Had the lemongrass pho, classic beef pho & grilled pork chop with rice! It was absolutely delicious and the food came out quickly. They are cash only but also had a QR code to place your order online with card. Would recommend and come back to try more!

Come here for the hot "something" if you're freezing your butt off. Use the bathroom, get warm inside and out before paying cash only for mediocre food. The Vegetarian Pho was ok. It was hot, had some flavor but nowhere near authentic flavors. But we're grateful for getting warm here on a cold day. Service is slow but that was ok as it allowed us to get warmer for longer :)

I came here with my dad for lunch. We shared the fresh spring rolls with shrimp, the mango-papaya salad, and a pork bahn mi. The food was delicious. Service was fast; we were in and out in under 40 minutes. The restaurant is cash-only, so plan accordingly.

A nice relatively inexpensive dinner with friends. There were three of us. Two ordered the Saigon Pho and one the Vegetarian Pho. We found the Saigon Pho flavorful with a decent amount of noodles and protein. The Vegetarian one also had a lot of veggies and more of a vegetable broth flavor (which makes sense) that was less flavorful than the beef broth. We felt they didn't give enough sprouts for three bowls, but I assume people don't even eat what's put on the table, and I'm we could've asked for more if we wanted it. Service was a little scattered because it was a busy and prime dinner time but everyone was nice. There was a wait but they were able to accommodate us and put us outside because we had a dog. There aren't many tables outside only 4 two tops and 1 one top. Overall, would certainly come back again, we asked about the shrimp pho and apparently it gets good reviews, as well, so something to try next time.

Spicy S.S. Special Pho

Came on a Thursday evening at 7:30pm and was seated within 10 minutes. The place is cash only but if you order online you can pay by card (price is a couple dollars more) and the food will automatically come to the table. - Shrimp Summer rolls: classic, can't go wrong - Spicy S.S. Special Phở: huge bowl with a good amount of meats. I would say the spice level is minimal so you can still taste the beef broth without overpowering it. Casual, no frills place. Service was fast, we put in the order online and it came within 10 minutes.

Lemongrass chicken bun

We missed Saigon Shack last year. We made a point to visit this time. Some of the best Vietnamese food around the area. It always seems to be busy even at 2 o'clock in the afternoon. We ordered the Classic Banh mi which consist of Vietnamese ham, Vietnamese bacon, pate, lettuce, pickled daikon, and carrots, cucumber, and baguette. I had the grilled lemon grass chicken bun (vermicelli). Please note that this is a cash only restaurant. Service is swift. Staff are constantly delivering meals or cleaning tables. The meals were delicious, just as good as I remembered them. Consistent, good quality food. Glad we made the stop. Parking is a challenge. Use public transport, ridesharing, or taxi.

Classic Beef Pho

My friends and I all got the classic beef pho because we couldn't decide what to get... and peer pressure lol. The staff were friendly and attentive. We ordered fried dumplings and spring rolls as appetizers which came out fast. All 6 phos came out even faster! All of our bowls were full and no complaints. Each table had siracha and Hoisin sauce ready to use. I enjoyed the broth the most! Light yet flavorful By the time we left, there was a gathering outside waiting for a seat. It is small inside but get there around 6 on a weeknight and you'll be fine!!

True authentic Vietnamese. First time in years having pho resembling the amazing pho I had in over in Saigon, Vietnam. I might be even better! The broth is light but dense with flavor. I had the rare beef pho that finishes cooking in the broth. Tender and delicious. Perfect noodles, herbs, etc. very, very good

Went to try this place . Got the Grilled chicken/shrimp/spring roll vermicelli and is decent.. just okay not that great .. but is still good

Julia S.

This place is great in the winter when you're looking for warm refuge with good food but a little less great in the summer when it's hot and a tad bit humid inside. The vermicelli bowl was very good & great portions! But it tends to get quite smoky in here with the grilling. Be aware they are a cash only establishment.

Overall: D // 2 stars About three years ago, I had a very intriguing crab cake fusion style Banh Mi that was quite impressive, so i figured I would return to try the rest of their menu. Their spicy brisket banh mi in particular caught my eye, featuring an interesting pineapple slaw that seemed like it would work well. While there was a plentiful amount of meat, I didn't want to eat most of it because it was dry. The beef jus and pineapple sauce could not save how dry the meat was, which is disappointing. Given that this place is also cash only and $15 is not cheap for a Banh Mi compared to other options within a reasonable radius, this is an unfortunate development. The restaurant itself is also quite cramped and so there was nothing positive about the dining experience. Finally stopped by, been meaning to try Stopped here on a Saturday after for an early dinner after seeing a play..a bit of a wait on line..not too bad. Sat at the bar...friendly staff sat me down with a place setting and some water. Took my order promptly and sat down to one of the best pho I've had. The broth was fantastic and flavorful, the most meat I've EVER had in a bowl of pho and the noodles were plenty! Cannot wait to come back for another soon..my new fave

I've had Ten Thousand Coffee on my to-go list for the LONGEST. I finally went for the first time…read moreand there were so many drinks I wanted to try so I ended up buying 3. 1. The Jeju Green Tangerine Matcha honestly just tastes like a tangerine selter drink but in the best way, because I don't typically enjoy seltzer or carbonated beverages. I really enjoy the flavor and the carbonation isn't too strong, probably because I brought it home to drink. I don't really taste the matcha but I would definitely still order this again. 2. Matcha Einspanner. This is my first time having an Einspanner so I have no idea what I was expecting but this is DELICIOUS. It's so silky and smooth and the TASTE is just right up my alley. The matcha is light but you can still taste it. Absolutely, would drink this all the time if I could. 3. Purple Sweet Potato Latte. This. This. Omg, why haven't I tried this sooner?! The first sip and initial taste, I almost tasted nothing, just milk. And then all of a sudden, there's an explosion of flavor in your mouth. As a sweet potato lover, I was in heaven. I have absolutely no words for this drink, just try it. 100/10 recommend. This is probably my favorite one out of the 3 that I bought. I went around ... 2:45PM on a Friday and most of the seats were taken, if I remember correctly. There were a decent amount of seats and the space was decent. I liked the minimal aesthetic they had for the design of the interior. Not to forget, the staff at the register was absolutely wonderful, she answered all my questions, she's so sweet. I think I'm disappointed that I haven't tried this place sooner. Y'all get out of your comfort zone and try the Purple Sweet Potato Latte !! Or if not, just try this place out. I will definitely be recommending the Purple Sweet Potato Latte to all my family and friends.

While it was a fun and unique drink, I probably should have opted for something else. The topping was literally like actual tiramisu rather than just tiramisu flavoring, and it felt like there was more ice and tiramisu than latte. Personally, I would have preferred more of the tiramisu flavor without the full tiramisu texture mixed into the drink. That said, it was an interesting concept and I'm glad I tried it. I'd definitely be open to coming back and trying another latte on a future visit.

Amazing Creme (Croux) Puffs!!!…read more I got the green tea, black sesame, & earl grey. The cream filling is very generous and the pastry isn't too thick. Loved the outside flavoring. Bibble & Sip is a charming bakery and café in Midtown West that serves creative pastries, specialty…read moredrinks, and desserts with French and East Asian influences. The café has a cozy atmosphere with playful alpaca-themed décor that gives it plenty of character without feeling overdone. Even with the constant activity outside in the Theater District, it feels like a nice place to step inside and enjoy a quiet break. The cream puffs were easily the highlight of my visit. I tried the Matcha Cream Puff, which had a crisp, cookie-like shell filled with a generous amount of smooth matcha cream. The matcha flavor was rich and earthy without being overly sweet, making it feel well balanced from the first bite to the last. I also liked that they rotate seasonal flavors, giving me a reason to come back and try something different. The pastry selection extends well beyond the cream puffs, with beautifully prepared cakes, tarts, and colorful macarons on display. Everything looked thoughtfully made, and pairing a pastry with one of their specialty drinks made for a great combination. The matcha latte complemented the desserts well, while options like the lavender latte offer something a little different if you are looking to branch out. The ordering process was quick and efficient, and the staff were friendly throughout my visit. Seating inside is fairly limited because of the café's smaller size, so it can be difficult to find a table during busy hours. Even so, it works just as well as a place to grab a pastry and drink to enjoy while exploring the neighborhood. Overall, Bibble & Sip is a great stop for anyone looking for high-quality pastries in a welcoming setting. The cream puffs, creative drinks, and unique atmosphere make it a place I would happily return to whenever I am near the Theater District.

I probably never leave reviews in general, especially negative ones, but this experience was so…read moreegregious that I honestly felt like I had to say something. I've worked in restaurants and bars long enough to understand that staff drinking happens, but this was on another level entirely. I came in with a group of friends and one of the bartenders, Will, was so visibly drunk that it made the entire experience uncomfortable. Slurred speech, wobbling behind the bar, taking orders while chewing food with his mouth open -- it was honestly embarrassing to watch. He looked like he absolutely did not want to be there. At one point, my group had been trying to get his attention for another round for quite a while while he stood around talking with coworkers. We then watched staff take a shot together, and when he finally came over he burped mid-conversation and literally had whatever he had just been drinking dribbling down his neckbeard. That was the moment where the whole thing went from unprofessional to just gross. What made it worse was that it didn't seem isolated to one employee. Throughout the night we watched staff openly taking shots and drinking behind the bar like it was a house party instead of a business. There's a difference between bar culture and complete lack of professionalism, and this crossed that line hard. One of the friends I was with actually frequents the DUMBO location and said that the last time she was there, the same bartender also seemed intoxicated, which makes this feel less like a bad night and more like an ongoing issue. The DUMBO location itself is in an amazing spot, which makes it even more disappointing. But ownership seriously needs to get control of what's going on there before someone gets hurt or the place develops a reputation for having drunk staff on the clock. Unfortunately, the experience was uncomfortable enough that my girlfriends and I won't be coming back. I genuinely hope the employee mentioned gets help if this is a regular thing, because nobody should be working service in that condition.
