Saigon Tokyo is a Vietnamese restaurant with a sushi bar. It is very packed, which is good for business. Full Viet menu and Japanese menu. Workers seemed busy, which is good. However, not that kind. Told me I could not have my own water and to put it away. I always bring my own water because i can not drink pipe water from restaurants. Also took a long time for service with little to no friendly words. Food came out hot and fresh. 4 stars for the food, 1 less star for the lack of friendliness while dining. Pork fried gyoza appetizer with orange slices - delish House ginger salad - well made, nice sized Pork Beef Chicken Combo Vietnamese Fried Rice - favorite!! Saigon Roll - mediocre roll, very beautiful to look at, could use some pizzazz

Mom and pops place. Been here for a very long time. If you like Vietnamese pho, this is the place. Friendly staff.

We've never been disappointed and always have leftovers. Today we enjoyed the Tropical Temptation sushi roll, house fried noodles #178, and #56 soup.

The avocado roll was simple and fresh. Great pick me up.

I also had the tofu stir fry meal ( not pictured) but it keeps leaving an after taste and I tasted dry rice grains. Staff and servers are very friendly though. I didn't ask for a change since I was pressed for time but spitting out fry rice was not pleasant.

Great Asian cuisine and tasty dishes whether Japanese or Vietnamese. They get busy after 7 so get in early. Sushi is good too.

We came here last night for dinner and they were surprisingly quite busy. They had a line of people waiting to pick up their take out orders. Luckily we beat the crowd by a little bit, but they seemed to need more additional help. We weren't that hungry after a big lunch. We started with a fresh spring roll -- shrimp only -- and it was just okay. I prefer when the roll is tightly wrapped and this just fell apart into pieces when I bit into it. There were two rolls to the order so perfect to share. The peanut dipping sauce wasn't the best either. It was very thin and didn't have enough peanut flavor. I'd pass on this appetizer next time. Why the three stars then? The two sushi rolls we had were good. Nothing too taxing for the sushi chef, but still executed perfectly. We had their California roll and a shrimp tempura roll. Service was pleasant -- we were thanked for coming -- but a bit overwhelmed. The ambiance hasn't changed in over 10 years so nothing special here. I'm sure we will be back some time as it's convenient and parking is easy... but maybe we will try one of their other Vietnamese dishes.

If you're looking for one of the best spots to go for Vietnamese/Japanese cuisine with sushi, this is the place to go. Cute cozy restaurant with consistently tasty dishes. The service is always great. Some of my favorites would include any/all of the sushi rolls and the cucumber salad.

We ordered little bit of everything!! lol The homemade buns, papaya salad, sticky rice, banh mi, banh xeo and some desserts Everything was just wonderful!! It was a very authentic and cozy feeling when you walk in. The service was spot on! We got our food quick and we were happy. We tried the pork bao bun. This was so full of flavor on the inside and the bun it's self was light and fluffy. Next we had the shrimp summer rolls. They were ok, not something I recommend. They had three shrimp and the sauce was not very flavor full. The last thing I had was banh mi, really it was a sandwich with chicken and vegetables. I wasn't impressed with it. I'd never had it before either. I also had a peach tea, which was the best thing of the whole meal. This was sweetened with real peach and had peach pieces at the bottom. All and all it was ok, I'd go back and try different stuff.

We were introduced to items we hadn't had ever. We decided to finally return. And we learned that 5 years ago, they got new owners. And the menu is now totally different than it was. The small restaurant is located in the back of a strip of stores on the western side of 441/SR 7. It's not the easiest to find. The menu consists of appetizers and different types of ramen. As it was a cooler than normal night, we were in the mood for soup and ramen was fine. I ordered the classic ramen. First you choose the "style", then you choose your broth base. The style determines what is in your soup and what level spice you get. I chose the soy broth. Other choices are miso, tonkatsu, or veggie miso. And I chose the regular egg noodles ramen. Other choices are kale or gluten free noodles. My classic had one piece of roast pork, a whole soft-boiled egg, one pretty colored fish cake, some bamboo shoots, and one piece of dried seaweed. Along with a lot of ramen noodles. My husband selected the Hot & Sour Ramen. It was noodle soup topped with "vegetables", but it didn't seem to have much more than some scallions and green beans. I gave him my egg, so he had some protein. He said his soup had a decent amount of heat. I'm glad we came here to try them again. Now we know.
