I am genuinely appalled by my experience at Saint Pasta. As someone with serious food allergies, I have dined out extensively and never encountered a restaurant so rigid and unwilling to accommodate even the most basic dietary needs. When I explained my allergies (milk and cheese), I was met not with concern or an attempt to help, but with a flat, unapologetic no. They would not modify anything -- not even something as simple as omitting a sprinkle of Parmesan on a plate of plain spaghetti pomodoro. It wasn't about complexity or kitchen logistics -- it felt like a deliberate refusal to care. In a time when food allergies and dietary restrictions are widely understood, it's shocking to see a restaurant so inflexible, especially when the adjustments requested were minimal and would have made a world of difference. Saint Pasta made it clear: if you don't fit into their narrow menu exactly as written, you simply aren't welcome to eat here. I'm deeply disappointed. Hospitality should be about making people feel taken care of -- not excluded. This place is definitely not saintly.....and way to pretentious. Get off your high horse and just don't add parm on top of spaghetti for someone allergic. I would avoid and boycott for those that are discriminated. read more

I am SO HAPPY this place is open again!! We got there around 6 last night and were seated in 45 minutes and the service was absolutely phenomenal. The grape specialty cocktail is AMAZING and tastes like nerds. The pasta is exactly as perfect as it was at linger and the truck and came out really quickly after we ordered. The cheesecake is absolutely to die for. We sat on the patio and on a chilly night we were comfortable with the heaters! It was not too loud outside-- i recommend if you're bothered by loud restaurants to shoot for an outside table. Overall fantastic experience. read more

Everything about this place blew my mind. I've tried every Italian place in the valley, and their pasta was incredible. The sauce on the rigatoni with ricotta was exceptional. I couldn't make an alteration that would make it better. Their Cesar salad is also one of the best I've had anywhere. Only critique I can give is I wish they had a better wine list. I am an AZ native, but lived in the bay area for a few years where I first experienced vodka pasta and it absolutely blew my mind. There was only one place I'd go for it because nothing else could compare. When I moved back to Phoenix, it became a goal to find a vodka pasta even remotely comparable. It was miss after miss until my social media had this place that I'd never heard of, even before moving, blowing up my fyp. I thought to myself, wth is this "Saint Pasta" and how do all these people know about them and their background of having a food truck etc? Not only that, but why does their food look so damn good and I've never heard of them in my life?! & one thing about me, when it comes to food and how it look on social media, you bet your ass I'm influenced. So here I am, writing a review because I took myself down to their restaurant with just me, myself, and I and sat my happy ass down at the bar and ordered me a rigatoni vodka. listen, I wasn't expecting to be satisfied because again, I've been comparing everything to the bay area pasta which was actual perfection... & my gosh, I felt like I found the holy grail. FINALLY, I consumed a vodka pasta that not only satisfied me, but put up a real good competition to the one I was comparing to. This pasta is cooked to perfection with smooth yet chunky sauce and a spice that you don't expect, but you certainly feel. The pasta was absolutely fantastic and filled me up perfectly. Outside of the great meal & drinks, I truly love the fact that the menu is small and you quite literally get what you get. I cannot STAND going to a restaurant that has a novel for a menu.. the anxiety that gives is crazy. They offer a limited selection but you can't make a wrong choice. I would choose this over a book of bland food options any day. Lastly, love the environment and the attitude of this establishment. The owner doesn't take crap from anyone, especially the karen keyboard warriors that love to make a tiny thing huge or ultimately focus on a single negative over any positives. We love to see small businesses thrive and owners stick up for what's theirs and the people who work hard for them! Keep up the great work y'all! Been a SP loyalist since the to go only Tempe days. Finally got the chance to go last night and it was everything I've missed since they stopped selling from the truck. We sat on the patio, and the vibes were exactly what we hoped for. Our server, Jessica, was SO kind and sweet, she deserves the world. I got the vodka rigatoni with a chicken cutlet and ricotta. Portion sizes were perfect, chicken was crispy, vodka sauce was everything I love about SP. We split a bottle of wine and had the cheesecake. Everything was so delicious. Prices were excellent especially given the quality and care that goes into every aspect of your dining experience. Definitely will be back! read more

If it wasn't for the bad hosting staff I'd have left it two stars just based on the food and overall experience. Arrived and was told it would be a 30-40 min wait. No biggie. Me and my buddy waited outside and chatted. Time goes by and a few tables open up. I know they don't reserve tables so after 10-15 mins pass after three tables open up and I decide to go in and ask to make sure we didn't get passed up by accident. I was told they wanted to give the kitchen time to catch up and just sat a large table so we'd have to wait until that table puts a food order in before we can even be sat!? Wtf?? We can't at least sit and order drinks? Ok. I didn't make a stink at all and was like cool. You'd think they'd want the money for drinks but ok. We waited and finally got sat at the bar because they didn't want to sit us at a table for 4 at 8:30pm even though no one else was waiting. The music in the place was so damn loud I'm glad we sat at the bar because we had to basically yell in each others ears to talk. The portions for the price are small. $22 just for a tiny bowl of some ok pasta with no meat. $7 more if you want a thin half chicken breast.. And as much as you preach al dente, it was over cooked. Overall it's an overhyped, over priced, poorly managed establishment. read more

Chef is so talented, with a vision and drive you don't find very often. He will take the time to chat, give you insight, and teach you things. I have tried nearly every item on the menu and it is all amazing. Ryan is amazing at his craft as a mixologist/bar tender and also incredibly talented and driven. Are there rules here? Yes. Food was everything I hoped for and more. Rigatoni vodka was light yet packed with flavor, and chicken Milanese was unbelievable (drinks also were a 10/10 not too sweet). Service/vibe was dope and lighting couldn't be better. I honestly couldn't give them one negative remark. You can definitely tell the care and time put into this place. I was super excited to try new pasta restaurant after hearing about their food. Ambience of the place is cool, I like the neon lights. I got the vodka pasta with cutlet and ricotta, and my husband got the vodka parm with ricotta. The service was ok. I asked for a coke, and they said they were out (how does a restaurant that opened a few days ago run out of soda) so I got a diet coke. and a little bit later, I saw someone walk in with a whole case of coke, and they didn't offer to switch it. It was a small thing, but just really annoyed me. The cutlet was good, but the portions were smaller than I expected, especially with how expensive it is. Ricotta is extra. And to be honest, the vodka pasta / parm we make at home is way creamier and more flavorful than here, and at a fraction of a cost. Just not worth the money to come here. read more

Honestly my friends and I went there and the service was great and my food was also well done, I got the Vodka Parm. We also got the cheesecake that is brought in from a local bakery and it was delicious, which is a shoutout to the chefs and service staff, also I understand having loud music so you can get people to leave faster to free up tables since it is not a lot of real estate to serve customers, its a common tactic so I get it. However, having the owner threaten people on social media for leaving honest reviews in hopes that it helps the business to see what they can improve or change, is wild to me. This rating is due to the owner promoting a hostile business model not the staff working there. Trying to be edgy by ridiculing customers, is the most outlandish thing I've seen in customer service. I would of left a better review but after reading how the owner treats customers and seeing their social media I would recommend if you want a safe environment don't go here. read more

I've been a fan of Saint Pasta ever since they had a truck at the Pemberton. As someone who lived in NYC, trying to find a good vodka pasta in Phoenix has been rougggghhh. Saint Pasta took me right back to my neighborhood Italian spot in Bay Ridge Brooklyn. Love that they now have a permanent place for us to go and enjoy the food. Went to this restaurant with my boyfriend for a nice dinner. Got the exact opposite instead. I ordered the gnocchi pesto and made sure it did not have nuts in it because I have a severe nut allergy. I ordered it for my boyfriend because neither of us have nuts when I'm around because if he has nuts then he can't kiss me afterwards. Anyways the manager was super nice and clarified that there were no nuts in the pesto but there was in the garnish for the gnocchi so he would not put the garnish on there. Sounds great. I then proceeded to order the linguini with garlic butter and lemon zest bread crumbs. Notoriously a meal like that is not know to have nuts in it. So our food arrives and my boyfriend is eating the gnocchi and I am about to dig into my linguini. The server stops me and says "wait the breadcrumbs on the linguini have nuts don't eat that" so I put my fork down and look at him confused reminding him of my nut allergy. He responded with the fact that I ordered the gnocchi not the linguini so he didn't seem to mention that the linguini had nutty breadcrumbs on it. I'm pretty sure if a table says they have a severe nut allergy u would let them know as common courtesy that a meal that was ordered by them had nuts in it. Right? Well anyways they said they would remake the pasta for me but it was going to be a minute. I said okay but little did I realize that my ticket was going to the back of the line. My boyfriend ate his pasta while it was hot as I waited for mine to come out, this time with no breadcrumbs. I sat for about 45 minutes as tables upon tables got served before me. From working in the restaurant industry I know that when something gets messed up, you put in the order again but on the fly. They didnt try to make my meal come out fast at all. They made me wait as like some sort of punishment for having them remake my meal. My boyfriend has been finished for a long time by the time my food comes up. As the plate is arriving to my table, I see the breadcrumbs on my plate. Immediately I get annoyed and before my plate hits the table I suggest that we just pay for my boyfriends meal and leave. Our server looks as the manager is about to put the pasta down and says "that was supposed to be no breadcrumbs because the girl has a nut allergy." To which the manager responds "the lemon zest breadcrumbs that come on this don't have nuts only the breadcrumbs on the pesto have nuts" and he sets the food in front of me. I start eating my food and chat with the server. The server mentions that he has only been there for 2 weeks. I realize as I'm eating my pasta that the first linguini never had to be sent back because it never had nuts in the first place. The server was just undereducated and thought that the lemon zest breadcrumbs were the same ones that had nuts which are used for the garnish for the pesto. I eat a couple bites and then get really upset because obviously there was a miscommunication that led to me sitting there for 45 minutes without food as my boyfriend ate because the server was not educated on what was in each dish. Keep in mind, that's quite literally a servers job to know what is in the dishes. As I said prior, I was in the restaurant industry and understand the importance of knowing the menu. I know the server said that he was only there for 2 weeks but cmon, there's about 5 items on the menu, how do you not know what's in each item? There was never once an apology from the manager and they didn't even offer any sort of compensation or anything for the time I had to wait for my meal to be remade.. even though it was never made wrong, the server just said it was. I don't know man, bad experience. And on top of that their little slogan is "Al dente or die" my boyfriends gnocchi pesto was no where near Al dente. That pasta was damn near the consistency of mashed potatoes and the dish itself completely lacked flavor. My linguini was nothing shy of mid tier, as if a sixth grader just learned how to cook on his own, and this is the first dish he has ever prepared solo. Embarrassment of a restaurant especially with the price point, damn near a $30 pasta if you want some meat. Would have rather made chicken nuggets and buttered noodles at home.
