Pretty disappointed! We went to Saint for our anniversary dinner. This was to be the highlight of our weekend. The place is beautiful and the service was excellent, but the food was a huge disappointment. Started with a Caesar salad, and it was very good. Unfortunately, it was all downhill from there. The cacio pepe my wife ordered was dry and tight. Not much better than a boxed Fettuccine Alfredo. She ordered some chicken for a little protein, but it was also dry and not very good. My osso buco was overcooked. I was expecting it to be succulent, juicy, and tender, but it was dry and tough. The accompanying risotto was also dry and not creamy at all. We expected the meal to be exceptional based on reviews, but that's not what we experienced. They did take off the cacio pepe and chicken ($38). We are avid foodies and have enjoyed many stellar meals at restaurants around Florida and the country, and this one just didn't stack up. For the price, it should have been awesome. Thrilled to have my birthday dinner at Saints. The downstairs restaurant and bar, great! The grotto and outdoor bar, excellent. BUT the upstairs bar, exceptional! Jose was amazing! Every part of our dining experience was made more special because of Jose. The Cesar salad is absolutely outstanding. The Ossobucco is delicious! The salmon amazing! The Lasagna is absolutely delicious! It's rich and filled with meat. The pistachio pesto over butternut squash ravioli was incredible! Very nice inside but the over-priced food was not worth the visit. The chicken parm does not come with spaghetti . I just get a plate of chicken with sauce and cheese but the sauce has no taste. Has to pay extra for some spaghetti and then it was not spaghetti noodles it was flat noodles. In addition the food came out cold. Even the soup was cold. How do you serve cold soup. We would have told our waiter but he never came back. All and all we spent 125.00 dollars and left most of the food there. read more

Like Michaels in Vilano Butternut Squash Ravioli was excellent! 5 stars Service is excellent Cons - The booth seats are about 5 inches to low or the tables are 5 inches to high. If you're shorter than 5.6 ask for a table or a booster seat! The Italian Beef Sandwich with Au Jus could have gotten 5 stars but the Au Jus ruined it... Wonderful new restaurant on the Saint Augustine waterfront. The space is elegant while maintaining the Saint Augustine architectural details reminiscent of the old town. We dined in the courtyard in an open area with great ambiance and authenticity. The extensive stone work adds to the crisp, clean new look. We started with the Caesar Salad, crispy romaine letty with the most delicious dressing ever. My wife does not use dressing, but tonight she asked for more! We chose the Short Rib Bolognese, it was flavorful and quite delicious. We could not resist the description of the Hundred Layer Lasagna, but it did not live up to expectation -- great sauce, but nothing in between the layers. However, the Dark Chocolate Hazelnut Cake with Coffee Ice Cream exceeded expectations. I prefer milk chocolate, but this was too good to resist. Lastly, our server Cozette was smart, capable and possessed a great personality that added to the overall experience. Saint is new and great, go there soon. We will be back! read more

Don't go! They need a new cook! My wife's pasta was way over cooked. My dish was greasy and tasteless. We thought the tiramisu was a joke! No flavor, overpriced. It looks really nice inside but I would give them a year till the cook is changed out. I would like to add more after my wife and I reflected... We felt rushed; still had our appetizer (fried zucchini - a ball of mush barely mixed with breadcrumbs) and our dinner was upon us. It seemed they rushed everyone else around us too. My friend and had a Gabagool which is vodka, lemon sorbet and Prosecco. For the four of us, only 2 were satisfied with the entree. Spaghetti and Meatballs ($29) - the meatballs were good and they gave you three large but the pasta was thick cut which i typically love but cooked before al dente. One of the oddest things in the restaurant was where the restrooms were. Only two for the large restaurant but literally the kitchen was right there. As you are waiting on an open toilet, the staff is cleaning silverware. Will we go back? Most likely to sit in the courtyard for a cocktail and starter but not entrees. read more

Sorry to say that the meatballs were just awful. Yes, they were moist BUT had no flavor at all that we had to choke them down. When I say no flavor, none. They got the meat and mixed it and made the balls. Very disappointed as it was our first time there. We went on a Sunday and watched the servers. More than half of them took dishes away that were more than half full and the people didn't take the left overs home with them. This told a story. We have had two visits there, the first experience they had some weight staff that was very lacking in knowledge, not to the person who was waiting on us. They brought a display of old bread to our table when we ordered the bread service. But a side of that the restaurant is a Excellent location for a date night for a big group night. The food was fantastic. Corrections were made on that bread service, it is a very inviting atmosphere. If you're just going for drinks, or a wonderful dining experience, this is a must try. What a wonderful dinner at Saint. When you walk in you don't realize just how large it is from the front. Once you make it inside you are greeted by very sweet host staff and a gorgeous courtyard! They are now taking reservations so we did reserve a table but instead opted for the bar upstairs and I'm so glad we did. We got there a little early, around 4:15 and they open at 4. We had amazing service from the bartenders who consistently made sure our glasses were full and that we were enjoying our meal - they both had great personalities and made the meal even more enjoyable. Everything we ordered was excellent and I appreciate the attention to detail both with staff and with the meals. Everyone seems happy to work here and speaks highly of the menu. We finished our wine by the fire pit and it was so warm and cozy. Can't wait to return and try other menu items and see different parts of the restaurant. read more
