It's just another hibachi restaurant really. My favorite part of the entire restaurant was the koi pond and the deers that greet you when you walk in. Besides that the rest of the experience is ok. The hibachi chefs don't look like they are having a lot of fun and the shows are very cookie cutter. The food itself was completely fine. Most of the taste came from the pounds of butter they throw on it. But $30 for a regular meal is a little bit too much in my opinion. The restaurant is well decorated but overall a perfectly fine experience.

We have been to this restaurant maybe four times now. We went again last night because it seemed fitting for the cold weather and we had a great time as usual. The chef was super kind and funny, and he was interacting with the table. Every time we go, the food is beyond delicious and they have my favorite fried rice. I absolutely love getting the combo with steak and chicken. I love that the meals come with shrimp, soup, and salad and we pretty much have an endless amount of Yum Yum sauce at our disposal every time! One of my favorite restaurants and I will always continue to go!

This was by far, one of my worst dining experiences I've ever had in my life. Sure I'm from New York, and we have the best of everything. I'm not asking for Michelin star, just wanted decent Hibachi. We came in on a Sunday night around 8PM. The place was about half full , and they put us in the very center of the establishment , in the center of the koi pond which was pretty cool. Our waitress Anna looked about 14, and while she was nice, there was just no energy or enthusiasm. We were getting ready to order appetizers, and asked for the fried tuna appetizer. She bluntly responded with "oh I wouldn't recommend that. It's quite strange and gets returned often and people don't like it, and it has a funny smell". Right away, I knew I made a terrible mistake coming here. So we didn't order the fried tuna and instead went with karage and vegetable rolls. The vegetable rolls came out first and were just sad looking on a big plate just rolling around. Out comes my karage, which was basically just like 6 big fried chicken wings. I've never seen karage like that before. We ordered the hibachi steak and hibachi chicken. I knew for a fact that these were not hibachi. They tasted like it was reheated in the microwave, that's how bad it was. I'm not sure who's running this place and who's behind the kitchen, but this was the worst restaurant we've ever been to. Left the restaurant with the hostess not even looking up from her phone to wish us well. 1/10, don't even think about it.

Had an amazing experience at Saito's Japanese Steakhouse tonight. From the moment we walked in, we were seated immediately and our drinks came out right away. Our waiter Jay Jay took great care of us the entire night and made sure everything was perfect. Chef Frank cooked everything to perfection and put on an awesome show at the hibachi table. Great food, great service, and a really fun atmosphere. We'll definitely be coming back!

Overall decent ecperirnce, nothing overly spectular, but it was all fresh. Think of it as a knockoff large Benihana. Some tables are live Hibaci (chef cooks in front of you) with mandatory tipping at cook table. There are regular tables. The menu is standard sushi, rolls, sashmi, with an extensive drink menu. Great for families, parties, and a nice bar for singles, couples for drinks! Its new-ush for now. Eve parking near holiday was awful so head straight to parkimg lot. May return. We ordered hibachi at regular table, so it came out fast. But ...um. it was all just avetage. Fried rice was bland, not worth the extra cost to me. Benihana had better rice So the bill: 3 waters 3 meals = $90 Sushi Platter $28 Hibachi chicken $25 Hibachi Steak $27 With tip, 20%, $16 Approx = $106 It felt a bit sterile because its si big, its not warm and intimate, like Benihana in Ft Laud SAI is worth a visit, if you are in that area. It was not crowded on a Sunday, 6pm before Xmas. The patio was empty, not even set up. So we will see if they last. So Fl is the " serghetti", so big chains even flop hers. Anyone remember BIG PINK!!! SO, go enjoy! Its clean, open, spacious! Dont go expecting specacular, expect fresh, gast food; buffet levrl. If you want extra good, level up with Benihana, where the meat, rice are better!

We got to be transported to Japan I really liked this spot We arrived an hour before closing They had at least 8 parties waiting for a table on a Friday night (good sign) 2 adults 1 child (under 1) Got a high chair and the server was very kind and helpful to us...and the section was child friendly We had a steak habatchi dinner with egg fried rice and veggies It came with a soup and salad. The salad was your basic ginger salad, but for me it didn't have enough sauce so that was a miss but the soup was really good. Steak was tender and seasoned perfectly Rice could've cooked for a min or 2 more for it to be perfect for me. Loved the decor It gives Japanese hotel vibes Perfect for a little photo shoot before dinner. It takes time at the hibachi so don't come starving But do come dressed cute for those pics

$30 for enough food to feed a child. Would not recommend! Highway robbery charging that much for 2 bites of food!

I've been to several different hibachi style restaurants; and I think Saito is my new favorite. It's quite a large restaurant located in Dania Pointe. It has a beautiful interior full of cherry blossom trees, a red bridge, lanterns and a koi pond. There are many hibachi tables as well as regular tables and a full bar. We had 5 in our party and went on a Thursday night to celebrate a birthday. They do not take reservations, but we had no problem getting a hibachi table immediately. The table looked like most other hibachi style restaurant tables, but the ceramic plates were very pretty. There was a really cool large menu that rolled down from the ceiling like a movie screen. They offer all the traditional hibachi dinners; chicken steak, shrimp, fish, lobster, and all kinds of combinations. The dinners come with a side of miso soup and a salad with ginger dressing. The prices are similar to other hibachi restaurants ($24-$65.). Our orders were taken almost immediately after we sat down. And then after ordering, we were delivered our soups and salads right away. The miso soup was very hot and quite good. The ginger salad was also delicious. We ordered an additional appetizer of edamame that was just OK. I had the chicken dinner and paid the extra few $ for fried rice. Our chef did all the usual tricks; beating heart of rice, volcano, etc. the chicken was good, not fantastic, but it was a huge portion. A few people in our party had the shrimp and scallops combination dinner; and they both said it was fabulous! Saito has such a central location. It is easy to access from pretty much anywhere in Broward or North Dade. The parking is free and the service was excellent. I'm hoping Saito will be around for a long time!

Saito's is what I refer to as a hit or miss. I have been there about 3x now and each time was a totally different experience. The restaurant is pretty with a large koy pond wrapping around the interior of the restaurant The first time was ok, no issues and decent service. The 2nd time not one single person came to greet us. The last time I was there the food made us all feel nauseous. I would stick to drinks and gazing at the koy pond for now and skip the food.

Soup that comes with the hibachi. So yummy!

Although they don't take reservations here, we walked right in and there was a table available after about 5 minutes. They do the normal entertainment for hibachi and the portions are huge. My daughter loves it when they do the onion volcano, of course. I got the chicken and steak combo and it was delicious. It's a busy restaurant so you can expect it to be noisy but it overwhelming, at least for me. Whenever I am craving hibachi, this is my go to. It's in a great location with live entertainment for kids on the weekends and lots of shops, the improv, bowling alley and movie theater if you want to make a full date night. So many options!

This is beef Tataki really excellent very flavorful, we recommend it.

The food was excellent here really good quality. They put on a fun show while they cook the hibachi food in front of you. I got the surf, and turf platter with soft tender filet mignon, and lobster with shrimp meal really excellent! The stir fry rice was soft and perfectly cooked really good teriyaki sauce they use. The service was pretty good over all. The atmosphere is so lovely in there with their cherry blossom trees, and the bridge with the live koi fish swimming underneath i definitely recommend this restaurant.

1st time here, we sat at the sushi bar for a quick bite at around 730pm on a Friday. Service was great and got our food quickly. The Saito Roll was delicious. Friend ate miso soup and hibachi fried rich and it was also good. I'd go back to try the hibachi as the ambiance was nice and spacious.

We wanted to try here and I placed an online order that's supposed to ready at 2:30pm, but the restaurant is closed. Again, on here and their website, it says they're open. But physically at the restaurant, it's not open, it's dark inside. I call the restaurant at 5pm, when they're supposedly open for dine-in and told me that they called me to discuss my order. I check after and they did call me, but I don't answer unknown numbers and they never left any voice messages. So he tells me they can refund the order, great, problem solved, right? Nope. I get off the phone and then receive an email from someone saying they wanted my address because they'll deliver my order. Confused, I call the restaurant back and end up speaking with someone else. We ask when the order was completed since we placed this order at 2pm? When did they make this order and are deciding to deliver us food that's been sitting for hours? They're telling me that they'll deliver the order, but they don't have the matcha tiramisu, a $9.88 item, so they'll use that as a "delivery fee." I refuse and tell them that their website let me complete the order, we were there to pick-up the order as mentioned on the confirmation, but they weren't open. The matcha tiramisu was processed, why would I get penalized for it? So he then offers to change it with something else, I say okay and give him our address. My husband also checks GPS and tells him how far and how long it'll be to deliver (30+ minutes). The guy says okay, we get off the phone. Problem solved again? Nope. I get an email saying, "We apologize but we won't be able to drop it off. It is too far of a drive for our associate . We'll process a refund as soon as possible." Guess I will wait for my refund since I wasn't told how long it'll be until I receive it. I'd avoid or call before placing orders. This place is crazy and confusing - and not just the hours. Told we'd get refunded, then get our food delivered, then not delivered.

Our waiter checked in on how we were liking our meal and even turned a hot latte into iced without any problem. The outdoor patio is beautiful as it overlooks the beach right across the street. We went for breakfast which has a small but amazing menu. As a vegan myself I had to order off the "sides" portion of the menu and I ordered an English muffin and a sliced avocado - very affordable ($5 total). I also ordered the fruit platter ($10) which came with an array of yummy fruits including pear, melons, pineapple, oranges, grapes and strawberries. There was more than enough for our table of three! My daughter had the pancakes which came with a warmed jam, syrup, and whipped cream. She said they were very fluffy. My husband had the chaffles which are croissants pressed in a waffle maker. They came with the same sides as the pancakes. And again he said they were so light and fluffy. We rounded off our meal with iced lattes - mine made with oat milk - and they were outstanding. I usually do not like iced drinks but the weather called for it and I was not disappointed! Overall Takato's breakfast is A+ and the view takes it over the edge of greatness! I hope you get a chance to enjoy it as much as we did! We returned to Takato for dinner and what an amazing meal we had. My one warning is to ask about portion size as many dishes are worthy of sharing size. We ordered an array of food. My son loved the kimchi short rib tacos (2 to an order). My daughter had the duck bao and California roll - both received two thumbs up! My husband had the wagyu sliders which he thought were an appetizer but ended up being a good sized meal served with french fries. He said the burger roll was a bit dry and could have used a sauce. The fries received rave reviews. We also had the mushroom gyoza (5 to an order) and these were delicious. I had the Takato salad without cheese and it did not disappoint. It came in a big bowl with crispy tofu. And I also enjoyed the vegetable sushi which provided a light fragrant taste with a crunchy texture. Takato hits the mark on all fronts and will definitely be a place to which we return whenever we come to Ft. Lauderdale!
