Oh my gosh! First time here and hands down the freshest sushi I have ever ate. We went in for the ayce and only made it to round two because we actually ordered a bunch for our round one (there's three rounds on the paper but the staff said you could ordered more). Worst sushi experience ever. All sushi rolls were horribly over-dressed and drowning in sauces. When ordering all you can eat, they just bring out the dishes randomly and drop them on the table so you don't know what it is or who ordered it. Sake 2 Me has the most amazing Fried Philly Roll I've ever had. The tempura batter is perfect and there's a good ratio of salmon, avocado, and cream cheese. I have no idea what sauce they put on top but it's sweet and slightly buttery and when paired with soy sauce it has this amazingly balanced sweet and salty flavor. I've been here twice now. They serve all you can eat all day for $29. If you're going to go for all you can eat sushi with good quality, this place is your go-to for that in Tulsa. It's not a buffet, so your food is made to order. I love their nigiri. The slice of fish you get is not a skimpy slice you'd see at a buffet or some other generic sushi place. The rice ball in their nigiri is small and not overwhelming. We tried a few of their rolls, and my mom really enjoyed their OMG roll. The hot tea they served us is Japanese genmaicha tea. I discovered this place one day on google search, and since I was in Tulsa in errands I decided to try it out. First impressions: The servers were really nice and helpful! Tulsa, I would not expect to find an all you can eat sushi place...but, Sake 2 Me Sushi is just that, and more. As my image shows, I had the teriyaki salmon, which was fantastic, but this small space delivers tons of great food. Our group of 4, 2 did AYCE, and 2 ordered off the menu. Portion sizes and flavors on menu meals were excellent. The AYCE were brave souls, as after their 2nd reorder, they wanted more, their eyes said yes, but their stomachs said...he'll no. The rolls were huge and filled with stuffings. I'm not sure which rolls they ordered, but they raved about the flavor. The place was filled, and they were quick to get the food out. The thing I missed most about moving to Tulsa from California was the lack of great sushi at a reasonable price. A lot of the restaurants here don't season their rice or have fish that either doesn't seem fresh or is still slightly frozen. I've definitely had great sushi in Tulsa, but it was always painful when the bill came. I used to live near a Sake 2 Me in California, and this one is very similar. Costs a little more, and a little more rice in the nigiri, but to get fresh fish to Oklahoma I'll take it. Definitely coming back for more. read more

So, I just moved to Oklahoma from California. Being that California is literally the food dreamland... I was a bit concerned that I wouldn't find good places to eat once I left Sushi is one of my favorite. And so, I went on a hunt to find a good sushi place. I'm literally in the restaurant right now. Sitting in from of the sushi chefs. I found this place on Yelp with a good rating, so I said... why not. My experience: I walked in, I was acknowledged right away. As soon as I walked in, I was asked how many in my party. I said, only myself for takeout. So, the proceeded to take me to the bar area. Asked me if I'd like to take a seat and look at the menu. While browsing the menu... I kinda already knew what I wanted... But all of a sudden... I hear the chefs that are right in front of me say: hello. And when I look up, he was holding a plate with a fresh crab appetizer on top of a salty crunchy cracker (which I think they make themselves) That was very unexpected and definitely what made me want to not wait to write a review. (By the way... that bite was amaaaaazing and so fresh) this is what separates an ordinary sushi restaurant from a extraordinary one that offer not just good food, but excellent service. I didn't even wait more than 10 minutes for my order. As I got up to leave, the chefs and the waiter said bye. They were so nice and attentive. When I saw the "All You Can Eat" (AYCE) on the front of the restaurant, I was a little weary of the quality of the food. I wanted to stick it out and see what this place had to offer, and I am glad I did! My father and I both decided to order the AYCE sushi. The AYCE is $30, so depending on how much sushi you can eat dictates whether or not this value is worth it. I can on special occasions eat 3 specialty type rolls. These rolls are typically larger than your normal run of the mill California roll, Philadelphia roll, or avocado roll. At most restaurants the specialty rolls cost anywhere from $11 to $20. For me this AYCE special was perfect! I got 3 amazing rolls that I wouldn't normally get due to the price at other restaurants. The ingredients all tasted so fresh! My suggestion is if you have $30 to drop on sushi go here and be adventurous and try something new! read more

After reading several reviews I decided to try this place. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon just after both the Baptist and Methodist post-service rushes. We were greeted warmly and seated promptly (a 5 star start, if not more were that possible). Our server greeted us immediately and offered to explain the menu and while that was happening another server brought us a complimentary appetizer sample. Now I am impressed! I decided on the AYCE my wife ala carte. So far 5 stars. Then the food arrived. Miso soup starter, good but not hot. Tofu and onions sparse. I'll blame that on the Baptists. Then the sushi. The fish was fresh and had the proper consistency. Presentation, spot on! But, here is where the rating drops. There seemed to be a heavy reliance on that fake Krab goop to appeal to, who knows who? Methodists because the soup is cold? We got what we ordered, quickly, accurately, and friendly beyond friendly. These wonderful people need to offer a more traditional approach to their menu and offer menu options without the fake crab and perhaps substitute real crab meat on some premium items. Don't hide your good fish behind that fake stuff. 5 stars for service, friendliness and, freshness. 2 for all that unnecessary fake krab. Perhaps sitting at the bar and talking to the chefs would be a better way to enjoy this establishment. read more
