I go here a lot because my friend lives down the block and she LOVES it here. $25 all you can eat but does not include the soda. They love to eat the sushi here they state it's phenomenal for all you can eat status. I do NOT eat sushi so I usually order hibachi chicken , or a rice dish. I never enjoy the chicken dishes the chicken taste fake and the hibachi flavoring and brown sauce on the chicken and broccoli has no flavor at all it taste watered down. The mei fun vegetable dish was flavorless as well - hardly any sort of flavoring it was slippery (very oily) I come from an Asian family so my expectations at an Asian restaurant is to have a real authentic tasting meal. I saw plenty of groups come and go within the time I was there.. We ordered apps, rock shrimp, Kani salad, gyoza, in waves and then hung out had a drink then ordered a few rolls, tuna avacado and others, then relaxed and ordered hibachi rice and sesame chicken. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 4.5 STARS This review is based upon multiple takeout visits in 2017 and two group dinners on 4/2 and 4/20: Let's face it. Most AYCE Sushi places suck. Whether it is filling out those annoying forms, eating cold buffet items at a certain popular Carle Place AYCE Sushi joint or experiencing (deliberately?) slow service at a restaurant protecting its margins, my experience of such places has not been good..................which is why I love Sake Asian. Sake Asian shares a parking lot with Krisch's, the venerable Massapequa ice cream parlor. Parking will be difficult during the warmer months. Look for street parking along Broadway or in the large parking lot just a few blocks North directly across the street from the Massapequa Public Library. Let me start with takeout. The people answering the phone are very pleasant. Food has been delivered promptly. The Sushi has been amazingly fresh. Just take a look at what is currently Yelp photo number five. You can infer that the fish is fresh from the picture. I've also enjoyed the Thai Chicken Penang Curry here. Over the course of two recent group dinners, the restaurant has been accommodating (separate checks for groups of twelve!!) and service has been excellent.The AYCE Sushi Dinner also features a large selection of salads and Chinese/Japanese/Thai dishes. It is $20.95 Monday thru Thursday and $22.95 Friday thru Sunday, an absolute steal. You can pay $6.99 for all the beer you can drink but I much prefer the House Hot Sake at $4.00. The Buffet does not include dessert but who cares when you can go virtually next door for some of the best ice cream on Long Island. The AYCE dinner procedure is that you order verbally within a two hour window. No filling out those BS forms. Standout items include Sushi by the Piece(I've eaten sixteen), Sashimi, Shumai (Shrimp Dumplings) Shrimp Fried Rice (moist and very flavorful like at some of the better Chinese restaurants), the Avocado Bowl and the Sake Salad. Ok.. so, i love this place! Unlimited sushi for 28 per person. May seem like a lot but if you go out to any other sushi place you will end up paying much more typically. Especially if you're paying for multiple people, it can get pricey. Here it's all you can eat for $28. All the food was beautifully made & delicious. It came out quick and the inside decor is cute. They came by pretty often to clean the table. The only thing that kind of made me feel strange was the women waitresses were staring at me for quite some time and made me feel a tad bit uncomfortable. I'm not a fan of someone staring at me while i eat but she eventually left. I guess they have to watch you and see if you take leftovers Other than that, i definitely recommend this place. read more

The fish did not taste fresh and we weren't really impressed at all. The lo mein was great wonton soup and salad was okay. The Kani salad tasted awful it had a strong fishy taste- I don't know if it was the mayo looking sauce on it but imitation crab should not taste fishy. Sake Asian has become my go-to for nights out and for take out. The menu is expansive and the price is low. It's just so good. The service is lovely and they're always welcoming and friendly. I never order non-sushi items at all-you-can-eat sushi spots, until I came across this menu. Everything here is fresh and delicious. The mei fun, sesame chicken, and pad thai are all amazing. My favorite appetizers are the coconut shrimp, sushi pizza with spicy tuna and mango, and the dinosaur egg. My favorite rolls are the babylon roll and the tiger roll. And the salmon sashimi, which happens to be my favorite, is always fresh and cut thick. For $20ish bucks to eat in its amazing. My new favorite thing is their dinner bento. It comes with 3 gyoza, 3 shrimp tempura, soup, salad, rice, California roll, and an entree for $13.50. A steal if you ask me! read more

I would like to start by saying that we use to come here all the time when Sake Asian first opened a few years back. We would stop in every once in a while when we were in the area. The food quality was high and delicious. Service was great. Last night, it felt as if we were in a completely different restaurant as what we experienced one of the worse meals we have had... The sushi was very disappointing and didn't taste fresh at all. We all forced ourselves to finish what we had on our plate, although some things didn't seem right. The salmon was very pale and tasted fishy, the rolls were over-filled with cucumber and rice (thankfully in this case). The extra star is a result of the kitchen food, which was just okay. Most of it was edible, but very greasy and bland. The best thing was the sautéed Bok Choy. Sad to say but I will not return here. read more

This used to be our go-to spot because I remember the food being delicious and prices being good. Went back for the first time since the pandemic and we were extremely disappointed. There were gnats/flies flying EVERYWHERE. They sat on our arms, sat in our food and overall were disgusting to deal with. And it wasn't like one lone fly who happened to get into the restaurant - there were SEVERAL small flies all over the restaurant and it's clear they're from the restaurant. The only place I will go for sushi. The people are super friendly, the sushi chefs are experts at their craft, the fish is always fresh, and their menu is vast. Unlimited sushi is true to its name as you are free to order plate after plate and roll after roll from the convenience of a digital menu at your table side. Spicy lobster mango roll is the best specialty roll in my opinion. Unlimited sale/beer is a nice option, too. It's a great place. It has a very large all you can eat menu. Included on the all you can eat menu are fried oysters and fried soft shell crab. It has a larger than expected selection of sushi rolls. They also have some Chinese food and thai noodle dishes. I highly recommend coming here. Cons: Red tuna sushi is not included in the all you can eat menu. This review is based off a delivery order I placed 12/10/17. I placed the order through grubhub, where my full bill (and tip) is placed on my registered credit card. When my food was delivered I was told by the driver that I owed an extra dollar. I tried to explain that I already paid in full, and tipped on the card however he would not leave my doorstep. When I asked him to explain what the extra dollar was for he became angry and continued to demand the dollar. He refused to explain what it was for which may have been due to language barrier, but his tone changed and I became somewhat frightened of his aggressive demeanor. I gave him the dollar (in change since I had no cash) and he left. It may have been just a dollar but the point of ordering online is to avoid handling cash. All you can eat sushi for a good price. Honestly, the biggest rolls I've had at all you can eat places and it includes all the food from the kitchen as well. Even better, they offer all you can drink beer for an extra $8.99! The environment is clean and it has a good vibe with colorful lights on the ceilings and walls. You can order with an iPad at your table which makes it such a quick and easy process (but if you'd rather order with a person you can too since there are still waiters and waitresses). Visited Saturday night with Bon G. and Daughter Amanda Jade to try their AYCE option. Some reviewers loved their food and I disagree. My visit was not impressive in the least bit..And the place was not crowded at 9pm. .We ordered hot food first and then combo of Sushi and Sashimi. As an example, we got soft shell crab appy..they used the sinew in the legs and battered them to death and fried them so you got fried dough with literally nothing intelligible in them. The dumplings and shumai were the best of the appy hot food. I got a Salmon Skin Seaweed Salad to try...it was a bowl of lettuce with a tad of seaweed on top with some strips of Salmon Skin...not traditonal at all....Whats with the bowl of lettuce? The Sushi and Sashami were less then pristine and the choices were very limited. Not the place to go if your a sushi eater....not including rolls, which they have alot of. The Sashimi was cut into little bits and the fish didnt appear to be fresh as when we got home I got sick....the fishy taste was coming up all night and made me ill....That never happens to me so WTF were they serving??? We may have hit it on a bad night but that shouldnt be allowed to happen! If your serving good fish thats fresh things like this dont occur. Went here with my friends today thinking we would get some good sushi. we ordered all you can eat and ordered the food on the ipad. it was annoying that you couldn't edit your roll if you didn't want a certain sauce on it or not. My 2 rolls tasted fine but my friend had rolls with salmon in it and she said it tasted weird. and my girlfriend got the angry dragon roll and it tasted off. we all had stomach problems after and my girlfriend threw up multiple times. I visited Saki Asian with my parents and my wife and we all really enjoyed it. We got the all you can eat option. This is not like a typical all you can eat spot where it's buffet style as you order from a menu and they bring you your food out as it is made (hot and fresh).
