We came here for a weeknight dinner. For $30, It's a great price for an all You can eat sushi. Even though it's a Japanese restaurant, it's run by Chinese people. They say you have one hour to eat but they are lenient if there is no one waiting. I ordered all nigiri and some appetizers. The scallops were Excellent. They don't use the right batter for tempura. The uni nigiri did not taste fresh. I wish they offered carpaccio. The fried calamari were like onion rings. The spicy salmon skin salad was delicious. The escolar in the sashimi platter was excellent - very tender. All the teriyaki shrimp and salmon was way overcooked.

First timer went with family that loved this place, read Yelp and Google reviews this place being very small, prep Issues, etc. and was concerned about the violations, but thank God we were here on Tuesday for dinner, not crowded at all, attentive service, food came out fast and raw Was food was fresh. No alcohol was disappointing but I got busy with sushi! A definite recommendation for you to try, but be smart and go there Monday to Thursday and miss the crowd!

Came here on a whim after indecisiveness won me over. I was really craving sushi, but I somehow got talked into it despite not being very hungry. I've been to Sake once before many, many years ago. I don't remember having a great experience because of how crowded it was in a tiny space and things took forever to come out. This time around, I decided to give Sake another chance at their $28.95 AYCE dinner buffet. The restaurant was decently full on MLK day on a Monday. Food was very quick to arrive once the order was put in. The sushi rolls were of standard quality. There's no unlimited sashimi here, you can only order 1 of the sashimi platter per person. My favorite was the salmon, then the tuna, white tuna, and lastly, the red snapper which I did not enjoy - there were a lot of stringy pieces. They also had sea urchin sushi which had a limit of 2 pieces. I thought it was decent since it wasn't fishy. I was surprised to see that a lot of the special rolls have asparagus in them, which I'm not used to so I was limited to the few that omit that just in case I didn't like it. As a big appetizer gal, I tried several items on the list. A few that I do NOT recommend: - kani salad: felt like there was more cucumber than kani - crab meat ravioli: flat fried wonton wrapper with barely any crab meat cream cheese filling - chicken udon soup: the broth was very bland - you'll have to add in your own soy sauce/white pepper at the table - beef stir-fry udon: udon itself was more flavorful than the udon soup version, but the beef was flavorless and dry - shrimp tempura: this was just okay, feels like frozen tempura - please be mindful that each order comes with TWO pieces which was not noted on the ordering paper like the other items. I learned this the hard way! The other things that I ate were decent. I love eel and it was good enough for me. I will say, compared to other sushi AYCE buffets, Sake has a more limited menu and the quality was not as good. I know of other places that have unlimited sashimi for a few extra dollars. Although the hostess was nice and the waiters always filled our cups with hot tea, the convenient location of Sake on 86th Street sadly still doesn't justify the visit when there are other better sushi buffets out there!

Everyone that's grown up nearby knows about Sake and their AYCE sushi special. Often times you'll see them packed on the weekends with people gorging their faces full of as many pieces as possible before the time limit runs out haha. I wasn't feeling that this time though, so I simply ordered some rolls as part of the lunch special they have, which is quite the good deal actually. Each lunch special also comes with an order of soup or salad, and I don't know what it is about that orange dressing they put on, but it just hits every time haha. You can choose two special rolls per lunch special order and we ordered 4, including the Dragon and Dancing Eel roll, along with a few slices of salmon sashimi. Overall? It's decent quality pieces for the price, nothing really super great or unique but ey, it's pretty banger for the price. The service is also good, the servers are easy to talk to and approach about ordering. If you're feeling a craving for something cheap and reliable, I recommend this place and their lunch special.

1hr limit on AYCE so the sushi comes out quickly. Fish tasted fresh and there was a good variety of premium rolls. It was hard to get a waiter's attention towards the end for the check since they were busy getting orders to other tables. Otherwise very good experience. $30 ish for AYCE is hard to beat these days.

Went on a Saturday morning before 11:30am and was empty, seated right away. FYI - AYCE had an one hour limit. Food came out quickly as we ticked of items on the sheet. Staff came often to take our plates and our sheets with the items checks off. Food is ok, don't expect high quality sushi. Also the lunch menu has less items than the dinner menu. The fried items were mostly batter (ordered the fried calamari and shrimp tempura). As for the rolls, they were ok, there was a more avocado and cucumber than eel and fish. Overall, a neighborhood ayce spot for sushi.

Lunch is $19.95! They are super fast and efficient. Decent crowd for lunch on a Monday! Most of the nigiri pieces had a decent fish to rice ratio! Would not recommend the tamago or the tuna but other than that the raw fish was very good for this price. I thought the rolls were really great! Miso soup tasted like bland hot water. Unfortunately I overestimated my appetite and ate way too much - such is the danger of all you can eat places - but it is such a novelty to be able to pig out at such an affordable price! They seemed to have many takeout/delivery orders as well.

My girlfriend recently stopped by this sushi place on her way home from work. She placed the order in advance, and it was ready before she arrived there. It was a smooth process to pick up. We have tried this place twice now, and both times, the sushi rolls were great. First, I would like to point out that their prices are so cheap. You get amazing deals here on all of their rolls. Some of the rolls that we tried and enjoyed were their California Roll, Spicy Salmon Roll, Spicy Tuna Roll, and Rock Shrimp Roll. Every one of these choices was so good. You get 6 pieces in each, and like I mentioned before, it was well worth it for the price. We have also tried their Miso Soup and Regular Salad, and it blended perfectly with the sushi rolls. Overall, this is a great spot to pick up some sushi to eat on the go!

《Mediocre sushi and ehhh service》 This is a popular AYCE sushi restaurant in Bensonhurst 86ths Street area. Usually I avoid it as I've been there twice in my life (2010 & 2011) and it didn't impressed me. This is a local favorite in the community with decent offerings at a cheap price $18.96 for lunch and $26.99 for dinner. Seems to be mostly popular with young teenagers trying out sushi for cheap price. Mediocre sushi (frozen and not too fresh), poorly made sushi (rice fell apart in nigiri pieces), and cramp tight spaces. Expect long waits on Fridays and weekends. Party of 2 was about 36min wait last night. Hubby wanted sushi as a celebratory dinner but didn't want sushi rolls from Ninja 86 sushi so we decided to come for AYCE. Better off going elsewhere. Our table was roughly 5inches away from the table on the left (teenagers on a date) and we heard their entire date. Tiny table to fit AYCE food?- terrible. The wait staff brings out the platters of food and expect you to rearrange everything yourself. They only clear plates when necessary after bringing new plates, otherwise it just sits at your table the whole time. We just stack our plates in the middle in a pile. I was holding 2 new plates of food once while they were putting other dishes down and I had to ask them to removed the empty plates in the middle. 1hr meal service but we had ate quickly and order more. Didn't feel rush but we got full quickly (probably lost our appetite). Because of the busy vibe/hurried service, not everything was fully clean and I doubt servers washed their hands in between bussing tables, wiping down the table with same rag and quickly putting new napkins/chopsticks down with the same hands. There was a piece of rice on my chopstick and a sushi piece that looked like it had hair. After hubby moved it abit, it disappeared which left us to believe it was a vein in our nigiri? Did ordered a few hot kitchen items: gyoza, kaki fry (fried oysters), beef yaki udon Interesting food item Quail Egg nigiri Didn't expect the raw egg on nigiri sushi. Was curious about it to order as I expected sliced boiled quail egg (kinda like sliced avocado spread out on Dragon roll). There should be a warning about raw egg as not everyone would enjoy that. I didn't mind it as it was interesting but I'm pretty sure most may not like that. Won't be coming back again. This is our 3rd and final time.. or until we forget and decide to give them another try.

Generic sushi for a decent price. If you're in the mood to overstuff yourself with mediocre sushi, then this place is for you! A couple of my favorite options include the dragon roll, rainbow roll, shumai, and calamari. Everything else was okay. Presentation was poor but I feel like they work really fast so who knows because it's all going into one place. Service was okay too. They did the bare minimum. You get an hour to scarf down your food.

I was pleasantly surprised by all you can eat sushi for $20. I only tried the vegetarian options and enjoyed them thoroughly. They had ~10 vegetarian options. The staff were quick to bring out the dishes. I noticed a lot of dishes had more rice compared to other sushi restaurants and there is a strict 1 hour time limit.

Do they have outdoor seating now? You know, because of COVID and all that.

No outdoor seating. Take out only

    Do they accept apple pay?

    Yes

What kind of drinks does this place offer? Do they offer thai iced tea?

I know they offer iced tea I drink it all the time. Don't know if it's Thai Iced tea.

    How much are kids?

So it's $14 per person for the all you can eat. But does it add tax? And if so what would be the grand total?

Yes, tax will be added. So the price is $13.95 and when you calculate tax, it'll be $1.22. But don't forget tip; when you calculate tip, say 15%, it will be $2.09. Add the tax and tip together, the grand total will come out to be about $17.26.

I'm planning to go in this Friday for my birthday, will it be crowded and do I need to make a reservation?

It's a walk-in basis, so no need for reservations. However, do come in early, especially if you're coming in with a crowd because seating can be very limited around 12pm and on. I went with a friend and was fortunate enough to get the last table for… Read more

Tables are abit small especially when meals are always serve in large platters. The table barely fit all the dishes so they had to remove the condiment tray to make space but it's not ideal with the squirming kids. I suggest changing some of the plate sizing to better fit the tables. The condiment tray have 4 sauces available: ketchup, sweet & sour sauce or is it sweet chili sauce?, hot sauce and low sodium soy sauce. They also do not provide the claypot sweetened soy sauce. The only soy sauce available (is low sodium) but that makes the dish saltier. Great service and good food. The baked rice dish- do not recommend. My friend said HK Tea is better. The sizzling platters are soo goood. Of the claypot rice, the classic pork ribs is the best. Chicken one was too dry for hubby's taste. The HK milk tea taste malty which one of us enjoy and another did not. Their regular rice plate portion size is abit small. The noodles are abit bland if you order that instead of rice to go with the sizzling plate. Veggies are just steamed and healthy but wish they were seasoned. The condiment tray should also include salt and pepper.

Dipping their toes in so many different arenas might actually be their detriment because they're going for everything while not excelling in most. I would rather they cut down on some dishes and make sure all are great instead. I absolutely love their Thai fried chicken, which is so affordable (8 pieces for $12), and tastes so crispy on the outside but so moist and flavorful on the inside. It comes with a tangy fish sauce, but you can add different green curry and/or red curry for 50 cents each. I like it best with the fish sauce. However, that's the Thai fried chicken is the only dish I absolutely love from this place. Everything else is very mediocre, which is unfortunate. 6 rolls bento - $15; comes with california roll, spicy tuna roll, lobster salad roll, salmon avocado roll, eel cucumber roll, shrimp tempura, kani salad, seaweed salad, and fried chicken. It's a lot of food for $15, and the sushi actually tastes decent. The kani salad, seaweed salad, and fried chicken are just tiny portions, but the fried chicken are like nuggets and taste really bad. 4/5 Mushroom noodles - $10; It's so rare to find such affordable e-fu noodles but sadly, it tastes nothing like what e-fu noodles should taste like. I wouldn't even know that they're supposed to be e-fu noodles if I just blindly tasted. I would not get this again here. 3/5 Pad see ew beef - $13; Again, like the mushroom noodles, it didn't taste like pad see ew. It's missing that sweetness and charred factor that's usually present in pad see ew. 3/5 Pad Kra Pao (??) - I can't remember if it's this dish that I got, but it was some type of Thai rice dish with a meat sauce. It was so terrible, I only ate 10% of it and didn't take it to go. 1/5 Pad thai - I didn't try it but my friend got it and the color looked really off. Aside from the food, there are other improvements to be made here. It seems like a family-run restaurant, with only two workers facing the customers. It's really hard to get their attention when the restaurant is busy. The space is very tight and looks like it could be more well-maintained. They also need more menus. Hard to share just one with the whole table.
