This place will be getting a lot more of my business after today's experience. I work in this area two days a week and don't always bring my lunch- so when your options are sit down and possibly take forever or fast food, this is a great choice to have. The drive thru was quick and efficient, they modified my order exactly the way I asked. But the gems here were the young lady taking orders, and Dewayne (Apologies if I spelled your name wrong) It's about 1pm on Nov 4th which is right after lunch rush and they fully had it together and were still so sweet and sounded HAPPY that I was there. I absolutely love the buffalo chicken salad. It's filling, tasty, fresh and very affordable for under $9.00. This is my staple lunch spot. They have many salad, soup, wrap, and drink options. Today will be last day of ordering from here. As I walk up to the pick up window for my food an employee opens the side door and as I glance over not only do I see the employee but notice a big rat. I am not sure if the rat was around the building making its way through the parking lot or actually came from inside but either way that is too close for my comfort. Ordered a frozen lemonade in the drive through, and after I pay, they give me lemonade over ice, and then informing me that the machine is broken. Salad and Go came into the Little Elm / Crossroads area with three locations - one on 380/Crossroads. One on Eldorado near 423/Little Elm, and at Lebanon and 423/ Frisco and Little Elm border. Every time I went (weekly) it was busy. Nice salads, other good breakfast items, good prices. The Eldorado location was the first to close. Then, recently the other two locations shut down suddenly on a Friday morning. Why come into an area with three locations, build a customer base, and then just disappear; closing all locations? I hope Salad and Go can get things figured out and come back to our area at some point. Until then I won't be driving an hour round trip for a salad. Sorry for the one star Salad and Go, but no matter how good your product is if you can't get your act together it affects how your company is perceived by customers who grew to like your product and then were abandoned. read more

I started going to this place 2 years ago and there's still nothing else like it around. I will rave about salad and go to any of my friends and family. It's no BS. Just great salads at an affordable price and super convenient! There's no dine in. You just place an order and pick it up at the drive thru. Perfect for a quick bite. Everything tastes fresh and delicious. My favorite is the Cobb salad. It's packed with avocado, bleu cheese, bacon crumbles, chicken or tofu, avocado and a hard boiled egg. Topped with that dressing and you've got a salad that'll put fast food establishments to bed. What I like most of all is that this is a healthy alternative to the typical fast food chain. I really hope to see more of these pop up in North Texas. I'm a big fan. read more

I really love the concept of quick healthy food! Pros: the salad is ready very quick! The lemonade is so good and cheap!!! The dressings are good and there are several choices for protein They open early and have a few breakfast options They have wraps too Cons: Not a whole lot of choices options, smallerish menu No reward program for frequent customers Breakfast meat in the burritos are so/so the turkey sausage was iffy. Ordered a Caesar wrap and instead got a fajita wrap. I didn't look at the receipt or the food until I got home and bit into it. A little frustrating but not the end of the world. I'm not far from here so I drive back go back through the drive through and asked if they could remake it and that my order came out wrong. The guy on the other end seemed irritated with the situation, but proceeded to tell me to pull forward and they would fix it. Waited for a couple of minutes then he swings the window open, practically tosses the bag with the wrap in it towards me doesn't say anything, then slams the window shut. Absolutely AWFUL service. Also opened it up, and there was no caesar dressing, just dried chicken and lettuce....on a "Caesar Wrap"... at that point didn't even care to say anything. Again wasn't a huge deal or the end of the world that the order was messed up. It was how they reacted. The guy was in a tie dye looking hoodie and seemed like he couldn't care less about his job or how to treat customers. I've never had someone toss a bag towards me in the drive through then slam the window shut. So rude. read more

I knew I should have trusted my gut when I pulled up to try the new salad and go by my apartment and didn't see anyone in the drive through lane at 8am?!?! My stomach is killing me. Had breakfast just a few hours ago here. I was thrilled when Salad and Go opened in Frisco, TX because I had been driving to Plano or Fairview for my fix. The one in McKinney, they just started building, will be even closer to my house, so yay for that one too! I have a family of 18 to 80 year olds with a ton of food allergies and medical issues, so finding a place for all of us can be challenging. I love that this concept has a place online to indicate food allergies when you order. It is so helpful! Because of the crazy schedules in the house, we have one night a week where we do a "cold" dinner. Salad and Go is a reasonably priced, high quality, yummy choice for us on those nights. We all have our favorite salads but today I discovered their $9.99 bundle which includes a breakfast burrito/bowl, salad/wrap and a beverage. The process was so easy. I ordered online during breakfast hours, set my pick up time, drove to the restaurant, told them I was there for pick up of an online order, and they were ready for me. I could never have made breakfast and dinner in the time it took and honestly, I am not sure I could have even purchased all the ingredients given how high grocery prices are these days. The packaging and food presentation looked great! I ordered the BBQ chicken salad. The only thing that fell short of my expectation was the jalapeño ranch dressing, It was bitter and bit acidic.
