Went back last night for the second time--a totally different experience. They ran out of romaine lettuce, which was really disappointing. We ordered a sweet potato salad with steak, a breakfast smoothie, and a strawberry spinach smoothie. Well, we got the salad--no steak, and the breakfast smoothie. Dear salad and go, you guys are usually spot on and I genuinely love the quality of your food but was a little disappointed today with my order, asked for bacon in my salad, didn't get it no biggy but asked for no pico because I'm allergic but ended up with pico, granted I could have listed it under allergies because I order from your kiosk but usually it's never an issue. This morning was my first visit here, and I was so impressed and thankful for the young lady who helped me, Madison. She was very helpful and gracious with my additional requests like extra dressing and whatnot. I am starting off by saying I love this place and I go there every other day. Today, Sunday January 27th I felt like having a salad for dinner. I went and grabbed a Cobb salad which is my favorite! Cheap, healthy, and absolutely delicious. I absolutely love their business model, and the food is great! I'm a huge fan of their bbq and jalepeno ranch salads, and I highly recommend getting avocado on their breakfast wraps. I tried Salad and Go a few years back and wasn't very impressed. I remember the chicken being boiled, or at least tasting super bland, and it just felt pricey for a mediocre salad. After reading so many good reviews lately, I decided to give it another shot. I'm glad I did, because the mixed greens and apple salad I had today with chicken and balsamic vinagrette was fantastic! The chicken was flavorful and perfect. The ingredients seemed fresh and the portion was just right. I'll be heading back soon to try new salad combinations. read more

Warning! They refuse cash customers at their handicap walk-up window! Tried to be healthy and ride my bike to Salad and Go only to be refused service because I didn't have a card with me to pay. They only take cash through their drive through. So when I asked if I could go through their drive through they told be I had to have a vehicle... Seriously, what business refuses a paying customer?? This is one of my favorite places to frequent on my way to and from work. Today I used the APP to purchase four salads for me and my family, and they were ready on time and tasted delicious. THE BEST salad drive thru EVER. I'm from Los Angeles and was visiting my sister who swore this salad drive thru was YUUUUUUUMY and healthy. Reluctantly tried it and ended up eating the Power Wrap twice a day for the week I was there....I know...I'm ridiculous. Fast forward 2 months later, here I am doing the exact same thing. One exception....tonight I got there 13 minutes too late and was soooooooo desperate for my wrap that I got out of my car and knocked on the window and shamelessly begged them to make me one. I would've paid extra....that's how bad I was craving it. The manager Chloe and employee Alyssa didn't hesitate and happily (yes, happily) made it for me! THANK YOU SO MUCH - you gals ROCK!!!! I might have a problem, I love Salad and Go. They should have a rewards card because I go there enough that I feel like I deserve a Gold star. At all locations, the staff are very friendly and kind to their customers. They are knowledgeable of allergies and will change their gloves if you request. I love this place and haven't stopped going since I first tried it out. I used to eat a lot of Paradise Bakery salads, but these are cheaper, larger, and much fresher. Today I ordered and PAID for avocado and did not get any. This is not the first time. It was so bad that I used to check my order before pulling away because it was always wrong. 2. I can't say enough good about this place. The food is on point, same with the fast service. You can build your own salad or choose one of theirs or a wrap. Price is also reasonable and nothing seems skimpy. I frequent salad/healthy joints pretty much daily and they are on par with $10+ salads all day long, both in size and quality. (Makes you realize how much some places mark their stuff up) I wish you could actually eat there but that is all they lack, though I'm sure this is what allows the awesome prices.
