The buffalo chicken ranch salad is awesome as is the apple salad. Greens are crisp and fresh- all the veggies are crunchy and fresh as well. You'll get a healthy portion of dressing- there are options to make your meal as low cal as you want. The to go containers are awesome- perfect to pour your dressing, close the lid and shake. Great salad spot on the go! Was suggested by a friend to go after work. We drove up and I ordered on touchscreen right outside their building. I guess there used to be seating outside but they no longer exists. I ended up getting the bbq ranch with chicken and it was absolutely fantastic. I ate every last bite and had zero guilt. Salad came in an orange plastic container (which I totally kept) and was sturdy and filled to the top. Good portion with an even better portion on protein. My daughter recommended Salad and Go to me as a healthy choice for fast food. I'm on the go a lot and don't have the ability to bring my lunch. I love this restaurant. The choices are great and at a reasonable price. It's also fast except if you hit the one on Guadalupe during the lunch rush. I love the Caprese Salad. I add chicken for the protein. I'm a huge fan of this salad business model. I don't know why they're not more prevalent in CA. There's a couple machines where you place your order and can customize it too. Really, really easy and within 5 minutes, my salad was done and this was with the drive thru line full of cars. Oh, did I mention there's a drive thru? This location is the worst. We purchase salads at least twice a week and for the last few months the quality from this location are suffering. The quantity of the salads are about half of what you receive at other nearby locations. Several times when customizing our salads such as no tomatoes and add jalapeños it is never done. Now we are being told you can no longer request jalapeños that they have been discontinued. This location is so convenient for where we live but we will going to other locations to get the same quality that we have come accustomed to. read more

I never thought I'd live to see the day where there would be a salad drive-thru on every corner. Ok, so it's not on every corner, but you'll wish it was. I've had the salads, soups, breakfast wraps, tea/ coffee, and the breakfast bowls. Every single item it's delicious. My favorite salad is the Santa Fe with chicken. They also give customers an extra side of dressing (if you ask) for my fellow condiment geeks. I don't think any of my salads ever had so much as one wilted leaf. The breakfast rolled tacos are basically baby burritos packed with egg white, cheese, and either spinach or sausage - both rock. The salsa is crazy delicious. It's thin, and reminds me of fresh squeezed tomato juice salsa-y addictive...stuff. If you are extra hungry, get a breakfast bowl. They are protein-packed, and won't leave you hungry. I've never had a bad experience between my two frequented locations: Chandler Blvd; Southern Rd... The service is fast and friendly, and if they run out of something (happens when you serve fresh foods only) they are quick to remedy. This is a common lunch choice for my family. read more

Their food is always on point, the only reason I docked a star is because they sometimes forget to add the chicken to my wraps that I order. Went today around 11:30 am 11/6/2020 , girl with green eyes today, treated me like I was such an annoyance to her, she was tapping her fingers very fast and loud as I was looking for change to pay for my salad, like if she was showing me how impatient she was ? Then she ignored me completely when I was trying to ask her a question about my salad, she didn't give me a word , only a blank stare! She gave the impression of my presence was such a bother to her , I've never been treated like this at any fast food place . Will not be going back to this location. This is healthy fast food at its best! They've got salads, sandwiches, soups, wraps and smoothies... I had the chicken soup and breakfast smoothie, the smoothie consists of oatmeal and peanut butter, and although it's called a "breakfast" smoothie, they serve it all day long. Now, my A1C isn't crazy about the high carb load from the oatmeal in the smoothie or the potatoes in the soup, but this food is so good until it's worth forgoing carbs for the week just to splurge here. The salads are always good. My problem is with the customer service and inability to efficiently operate a restaurant. So, this evening I had a tight schedule between work and getting my son to his baseball game so I thought I'd stop at Salad and Go real quick. I planned ahead and ordered at 4:30 for a 6:30 pick up. When I arrived, I walked up to the window, rang the bell, told him my name and expected him to reach into the cooler to grab my bag. NOPE. That's not what happened at all. He yelled back to the girl making the salads and announced my presence. She proceeded to make 4 more salads (for the drive through) and THEN starting making mine. COME ON!!! You had two hours and I still have to wait? What was the point of giving a two hour notice if I was going to be served after the people in the drive through? Especially when there's typically a 15 minute leadtime on the app. I don't know if there's a manager on site or just a bunch of kids running the place but there's definitely room for improvement. read more

Usually I love getting a breakfast burrito here. Usually the service is great. Today makes me consider never going again. The girl who took my order this morning around 8:30 am (10/14/19) was very rude. She demanded my order after making me wait a couple minutes. I don't mind waiting but she didn't even apologize after not asking me to wait, but telling me to wait. Then she repeated my order back to me wrong. I corrected her and she snapped at me. I ordered a Southwest Breakfast Burrito. It should have about a half dozen ingredients in it. When I got home I realized she did not add the salsa I asked for and my burrito only had egg and spinach in it. Even the eggs were not good and were very dried out. Just FYI if you don't like ice in your drinks don't go here! My daughter and I love the half & half ice tea lemonades so we stopped after I picked her up like we do a lot. I ordered my normal drink without ice because I'm not a fan of cold drinks. When I placed my order the girl told me she'd have to charge me an extra $.30 to make it without ice. I was caught off guard and asked why, she said because your not getting ice. I was baffled. She than said don't worry about it I won't charge you but I can only fill your drink half way up the cup. I had a great experience with one of the employees at Salad & go Gilbert tonight around 6:30 or 7pm. I went through the drive thru and ordered a basic Caesar salad with chicken. When I got to the window I realized I had forgot my wallet and asked the employee if they accepted Apple Pay. The employee responded that they did not, but offered for me to take my salad and the receipt, to come back later and pay for my salad then. I was amazed and so thankful that I didn't have to drive back with my wallet after a long day.
