Salad and Go - where have you been all my life? Or, actually, where have I been all your life? I drive past this place almost every workday. And I frequently complain that it's hard to find a good, moderately priced vegan salad around town. It took a "we have no dinner plan" call at the end of the day to finally get me to give it a try. I mean, how good could drive-thru salad be? Well, it was great! I got the roasted sweet potato and strawberry one, with no cheese (vegan), add tofu, and with balsamic dressing (vegan). It came to about $7. The tofu was perfect -- firm and lightly flavored. It went well with the dressing. It was a large salad; enough for two for a light meal. The veggies and lettuce were well curated. I love it when I don't have to pick around nasty bits. I'd be even more exited if they had more vegan dressing options -- only the balsamic is marked on the menu as vegan. And since the tofu has a bit of a soy-based marinade, it would be fun for them to have a spicy Asian salad option (like Green's used to be, with peanut sauce). Next time I'm going to try their vegan chili! Service was faster than the Starbucks drive thru! It was ready when I got to the window. And it was one of the most friendly drive thrus I've been to! The WORST SERVICE I've received from a Salad and Go in 5 YEARS!!!! When I ordered, the employee taking my order sounded annoyed when I wanted to change the protein on my salad. So they already rubbed me the wrong way. I truly believe that if you don't enjoy your job, please do not displace your regret and anger onto the customers. It's not hard to give the same respect that you're given. When I arrived home, I noticed that my salad didn't have a dressing in the bag and my daughter's kids salad barely had any salad in the container. For the cost of $3, it would have been more cost efficient to buy a bag of iceberg lettuce from Safeway. I called the location to remedy the situation and informed the manager that I would not be able to return to the location till the next day since I live 5 miles away. I asked if I could have my salad remade when I come in the following day since I'm not going to eat a dry salad and expend my own resources and time for their mistake. She said verbatim that she wouldn't remake a salad over a dressing despite my inconvenience. She did agree to redo the kid's salad, so at least there's that, right? Overall, this place will never get another dime of my money. If you want a salad, go to another location. At least, you'll get more salad and your dressing along with an ounce of respect. read more

Love salad and go! My local store that's closer to my house is usually my go to. I always order through the Mobil app and they have a Mobil order pick up lane. The only downside it sometimes my order is not made at all for the pick up time that I request it for. Yes it's a "request" but it's also a mobile pick up lane. I only ever order when I'm picking it up on my way into work. So I have to usually plan to pick up anywhere from 5-15 min earlier than planned because I have Sat there waiting for them to actually make it (and I always order anywhere from 45-60min) beforehand.
