I was intrigued by the concept and the shop was right in front of my hotel. I pulled in on the wrong side and could see there was a line in the drive thru but I circled around and the line was considerably shorter. The prices are great and the portions are generous. They don't skimp on the chicken or blue cheese on the Cobb salad! Some of the tomatoes were overripe and the avocado was hard but that happens. I didn't see the instructions on the lid to shake the salad until I was finished but it was tasty eating my way through the toppings too!! Overall I was very pleased. Good prices. Good portions. I usually love salad and go, but went to this location due to work and it was ridiculous. Ordered online, waited for 10 minutes for the girl to even open the window (who was rude) - she handed me a wrap (which is not what I ordered) then shut the window. I waited for a few minutes to see if she'd re open it finally I rang the door bell and I decided to just eat the wrap and kept trying to tell her I had a sangria iced tea as well. Always have a great experience here! I was a regular when I lived in the area and the staff was always friendly and engaged with each customer. When they didn't have what I wanted, they gave me a complimentary item. When I came back from a trip, they gave me a free lemonade, when one of them was leaving, they personally came to the window to say good bye. You can't build or fake service like that. You just have a group Of really great people serving others beyond making the sale! And, it must be said, fast, fresh, convenient food that's actually healthy was a HUGE sell for me. Been going here since they opened, at first everything was great. As of late it's a huge hassle. The drive thru line is usually long, no problem, I downloaded the app and order ahead of time and do the walk up pick up. Unfortunately, lately there's commonly a line of 15 people waiting to get their food. I have ordered my food at 10:30 am with a pick up time of 11:30, thinking there's no way my food wouldn't be done on time. Somehow that's not the case and I have sat there waiting for my order for some 20 minutes several times now. There's no organization for walk up pick ups either, people are always confused. It's to the point to where I'm usually trying to organize a line at least. Either they need to hire more people or actually figure out a system to get orders out on time. Hell, even having a system for picking up orders (seriously... just write down names of people when they get there and hand them out when they are ready). I've had some ingredients missing as well, which if you forget onions or tomatoes that's fine, but I've outright had my protein or avocados missing as well. I have been coming here for about 12-months and quite frankly the service is going downhill. I liked it because it is close and I can get my order quickly. Unfortunately, I have been waiting on increasingly long lines and today I was told when I reached the front of the line, that I was 15-minutes early. Searching for healthy AND fast is next to impossible. Salad and Go has been my go to. The food is always fresh, and fast. On my most recent visit, I ordered a protein box and a Mango Ginger cooler. The protein box was well payed out so you could see all items were freshly prepared. The items were delicious, and just the right amount of food for a quick and healthy lunch, or snack. The price was about half what other places charge. The Mango Ginger cooler was so fresh, there were pieces of real ginger in the cup. This drink is refreshing, very tasty, and doesn't leave you feeling bloated. The price was amazing, even when comparing to convenience stores or other fast food restaurants. It is now my go to drink. I had passed by here so many times and finally made it a destination. That was a good choice! This is like the Dutch Brothers of salads. It was awesome and Twyla and I both raved when we were done. You get an ample portion salad with many well contrived blends to choose from. Everything was amazingly fresh and tasty to our buds. Your can drive through and grab your goods or sit on the small patio and enjoy your eats. There is not a lot of seating outside and , by the way, that is the only seating offer. Salads aren't my go to thing to eat. However, I was seeing a lot of ads for their restaurant and I decided to give them a try. I went basic and got the Greek salad along with a side of tofu. For me, it was just too much salad for my life to handle. I was expecting the size you get at a regular family restaurant, but no way man. You get a gallon of salad. Overall it did taste fresh and flavorful. If I do decide to get salad in the future, I may consider coming back and trying something else. by the way, I could not finish that gallon of salad, leftovers should be considered. read more

I walked there since it was just down the street, and walked away hungry. You can only order for walk-up using the app, and the cell service outside the restaurant is too poor to download the app. No wifi either. If you want a good salad, go to Cafe Zupa's instead. Salad and Go fills a huge gap - food that is fast AND cheap AND healthy. I'm not saying there are no options that check all those marks, just that the overlap in that Venn diagram is very small. I was skeptical about the timing, but we arrived at the small building right before the lunch rush on a weekday. There is no dining room, but you can walk up and order, or drive through. Very fresh and creative options, everything made in house. I ordered 4 salads for my friends and family - 4 different ones, and we were out of the busy drive through line, paid and salads in hand, within 5 minutes. I love this place. So do my kids. We have been incorporating their salads in our steak dinners. 1 salad is enough for 4 of us for two nights. We always opt out i of the protein and typically only purchase the Cobb salad. The greens are plentiful for two nights but not the toppings ( eggs, bacon,etc ) so the second night we modify our own toppings. It's a great price, fresh tasty ingredients. read more

It's a neat concept; fast food that isn't just junk food. You can order at a drive-through or walk-up window, and there is some patio seating but no indoor seating. Portions are decent, not huge, but good. The price is reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. Everything we've had is tasty. I had never heard about this place until recently. I am on a Facebook group for the city of Surprise, and they are actually building one of these in Surprise pretty soon. I had looked them up to see what their menu looked like and what they had to offer. Sounded like a cool concept and they actually had a few things that were right up my alley. As I was viewing their locations, it turns out that there is one really close to my work on Pinnacle Peak! I decided that I would head up there for lunch today and try them out. I got into the drive thru line, placed my order for a Cobb Salad with Chicken and drove up to the window. The lady at the drive thru counter was very nice! When I pulled up to pay for my food, I asked her "How's it going today?" She replied in almost near shock. She told me her day was going swell and that she was happy it was Friday. She also exclaimed that she was shocked by my question because nobody ever asks her how her day is going. That is pretty lame, but it doesn't surprise me. Society as a whole just doesn't give 2 shits anymore. Everyone is in their own little bubble, glued to their phones, and lots of people don't have any respect or common courtesy/decency anymore (Nobody says, "Hello." or holds doors open, or uses a turn signal etc etc.). Anyways...I was glad it kind of made her day and I wish that I encountered more nice people like her. On to the salad................ Cobb Salad with Chicken- This thing looked great right from the get go! The salad included a mix of spring greens and iceberg lettuce, avocado, blue cheese crumbles, green onions, a ton of bacon and a nice amount of chicken. I had ordered my salad "mixed" (you can order it with dressing on the side), and they used a perfect amount of dressing. Enough to coat it, but not swimming in it. All the items were fresh as could be! My favorite part of the salad might have been the green onions. They are very sneaky and you can feel the crunch and taste them but not really see them. They were well incorporated into the mix. The chicken was cubed up and had great texture, the bacon was incredibly plentiful, and the salad had a decent amount of blue cheese crumbles and a few slices of ripe avocado. I mowed down that salad in no time at all! It was great! Overall, I am happy I discovered this place. I foresee myself coming back very soon! It's close to work, healthy, and not too expensive ($7.80...less if you don't add chicken). It was a delicious lunch and I am excited for when they build the one in Surprise! read more

As much as I love Salad & Go's food, this location seems to be managed poorly and it's making me reconsider going there. The worst time was yesterday when I ordered a wrap on the app and the time it said it would be ready was 6:20 and I got there around 6:23 and had to wait in the mobile pickup line for about 10 minutes (when there were only 2 cars ahead of me that both sat there for about 5 minutes each before being handed their food) and when I finally got to the window my wrap wasn't even made yet so I sat there for a while longer. It finally got handed to me around 6:35. That's pretty bad and not at all what we should expect when ordering way ahead on the app. read more

What can you say it's salads. They are fairly big salads for the price the chicken is real chicken not that weird grilled chicken and the drinks are cheap. This is a pretty cool concept - it is a drive-through salad place. They don't have an indoor dining room at all. There is a small walk up window, but primarily, this is a drive through restaurant. As others have mentioned, salad and go is good, and really pretty affordable too, but you have to double and triple check your order because it seems like they just cannot get a single order 100% correct. We ordered two salads and a soup, and we received the order with the soup missing entirely, and the salad not made correctly/missing ingredients. As long as you carefully check the order for accuracy while you are still at the window, I would say this place is worth it. But if you are in a hurry, or if incorrect orders irritate you significantly, I wouldn't suggest salad and go. read more
