This is a good place for quick healthy on the go food. The way the restaurant is setup is similar to a Chipotle. You walk in pick your salad and whether you want a salad bowl or a wrap. There are many choices for veggies, protein, and dressings. My wrap was very filling. There aren't many soup selections, but the tomatoe basil soup was good. After pigging out on Thanksgiving I felt like a fat lil piggy and needed something light for lunch. My coworkers decided they wanted salad however thanks to the shortage of romaine lettuce I was unable to order a salad. I browsed the menu and decided to try a wrap instead as I couldn't imagine eating only a spinach/spring mix salad sorry but I just can't. I ordered a wrap on whole wheat with chipotle chicken loads of veggies and the chipotle ranch. The wrap was the bomb.com (do people still say that?) The meat was perfectly seasoned, tender and full of flavor. The veggies were fresh, crisp and perfectly proportioned to fit into my wrap and the chipotle ranch was the perfect spicy compliment that tied it all together. I've had Salata before and it was nothing to brag about but I can now say I've found my go to menu item. Can we also take a moment to appreciate those perfectly salted crunchy pita chips? The subway of salata! This location has a good variety of fresh ingredients. Customer service was good. Good steady flow of people during work lunch but never too busy that tables weren't available. A friend at work treated me to Salata during lunch. She had a salad with meat, I had the crispy artichoke. Both salads were large portions made fresh to order and only took a few minutes to prepare. This place is really busy during lunch so snagging a table can be challenging. This place opened up recently in a shopping center next to my house. I was really excited to go and try it out! The place was very clean and the staff was really nice. They did happen to mess up while making my salad. They placed a wrong item in my salad which costs a dollar extra, the manager insisted to just throw it out and remake my salad but I felt that was very wasteful. I told her it is fine just keep it id rather not throw out the entire salad and she said "I am still going to charge you for it then, if you don't want the charge then I need to throw it out and remake the salad". I told her I'd rather be charge the extra dollar then throw out the entirely perfect salad. She was kind but at the same time I felt that was very rude and unnecessary of her to say. I do plan to come back here because overall the staff was pleasant and the salad itself was delicious! read more

I LOVE Salata and probably eat it once a week. Since I travel alot, I usually eat at a few different ones all over the country. For this year, I am based in Irving and have noticed this Salata doesn't put as much in their salads as other Salata's.... Not alot of greens for the base either. It's salad and is always great for my liking. However, when I ask for "extra" tomatoes or "extra" mushroom, they always add A PINCH. It's like they think each pinch cost $2. Sadly this is the only Salata around work, so I might have to be okay with it. read more

I went again in February and threw it up with in 10minutes my throats started burning it lasted like 3 days, I went to a doctor since tums weren't doing anything. They came on site to my work and served a pre-made chicken Cesar whole wheat wrap with whole wheat pita chips. It was delicious, but I was horrified when I looked up the nutritional information. First, I logged it into My Fitness Pal and it said 600+ calories. I thought, surely that's wrong so I looked up the ingredients on the restaurant's website and it came to over 800 calories with more than 70 grams of fat, more than 30 of which is coming from 2 oz of their classic Cesar dressing. This is approximately the same calorie count and 20 more grams of fat than a McDonald's Triple Cheeseburger with bacon (per My Fitness Pal). I expected this to be a healthy meal. I don't expect McDonalds to be healthy so I felt duped. read more

The quality of the food is ok, but the portions that you get per veggie choice are really really small, in the past (like 3 months ago or so) they used to serve you more per choice now you only get a pinch of everything and lots of lettuce, so 13 for lettuce is too much ! And even if you pay more (like for avocado) still you get like 1/8 of one read more

I am one of those people who goes to different Salata locations because I go so often that it's embarrassing. I am not disappointed with this location! I am picky about the salt and pepper shakers being available, as some locations do not provide them. (some of the fat-free dressings need some extra punch). Here, they are available and clean! Once again, I am happy with the service and the healthy and fresh options available! Also, the owner is often here overseeing, and he is delightful. I highly recommend if you are looking for a healthy and quick meal! read more

This review is not about the product instead it is about how seriously they take their customers. On the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend of 2017, my wife and I were in the mood for salad. We ordered online and while it was raining outside went to pick up the salad only to arrive at the location to find out that they are closed on Sundays. They should have not even allowed us to submit an order if that was the case and on top of that they ended up charging us on our credit card, I guess that was for the hassle that they were able to provide us. I have now reached out to the credit card company to take care of that, hopefully they have better luck that we did :) read more

One the food is good but the reason for the 1 star is this: I had the lap-band surgery and normally get a kids plate - Today on July 30, 2012 was my 4th time at this place and the 4th ordering a kids plate - most restaurants always have issues with adults ordering kids related items - but the tone of this cashier person/manager was RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL and DISRESPECTFUL - when I order my kids wrap (which you can only get 5 toppings) - she rang it up as a normal wrap - i told her - im sorry, i got a kids wrap - The first thing she said was "WHERE IS YOUR CHILD AT?" - i told her i don't have one - she said - "WELL YOU CANT GET A KIDS WRAP" - i said ok but this isn't my first time - she said "THE OWNER DOESNT WANT US TO DO IT" - she walks to the first person at the salad bar - the one that gives you the salad when you first start the process of ordering and yell at the guy and tells him "why did he give me the OK to give me a kids wrap" .. this experience was embarrassing - the food is amazing but i'm never going to this place again. Don't get me wrong - i don't mind paying for a full meal - i've been dealing with this for years because of the lap band - but the way she said everything and yelled at her co-worker - they will no longer have my money! read more

I was just visiting Dallas for the weekend and wanted something healthy to eat for dinner. I'm so glad I found this place. There were other salad bar places, but this one looked the most appealing on yelp. I pre-ordered my salad online which was super convenient because then I didn't have to stand there and decide right in front of the person making the salad. They only put a spoonful of eat topping on my salad unless I asked for more. They charge extra for any type of meat added onto the salad, as well as $1 for 1/4 of an avocado (which was the only con). You get bread and can ask for pita chips on the side if you like. I would definitely come back if I was in Dallas! read more

Somebody at corporate also must have clued in the staff, because I've gotten nothing but impeccable service of late. The simple pricing structure for wraps and generous-portioned salads makes a visit to Salata compulsory--where else can you get a build-your-own salad that's not just a standard iceberg down this street? I've gotten to-go and dine-in orders, and even dragged coworkers here for a healthy meal--the clean quiet surrounds done up in greens and purples puts at easy after a busy day at work.
