Within a couple minutes they provided a complimentary mango lassi for our toddler because he was on and off fussy, which was very kind of them! We ordered the following: - Hakka noodles with chicken - 4/5, noodles should be thicker imo - Chicken kadai - 5/5 great flavor - Rogan Josh - 5/5, probably my favorite in the burbs so far - Tandoori chicken - 5/5 great flavor - Chicken tikka - 5/5, in general not my favorite fish but my toddler was destroying these - Chicken kebab - 5/5, I think it was chicken but not positive. Either way one of my fav dishes in general - daal makhani - 4/5, tasted good but normally not a fan Most of the above came with the chefs dinner special, I forgot what it was called - but it cost $28 for 1 person and it was a good spread! Fed two people more like it. Nice decor and ambiance, I would recommend you eat here!

Their naans are soft and fluffy and taste fresh. Though we ordered medium spicy, the food was a little bit spicy for us. I recommend ordering low spice if you like non spicy food. The service was good and exceptional. They were very nice to accommodate our choices with exclusions and limitations on certain ingredients. The ambience is okay since the place is small but can't complain due to the busy area and limited space. Overall, it's a great place to visit again in future

The space is inviting and comfortable, easy to settle into. Service was exceptionally friendly. We were warmly welcomed and had a lovely conversation with Sara, the owner, which added a personal and heartfelt touch to the evening. Our party of four included a vegetarian and someone with gluten-free needs, and both were accommodated effortlessly. Always a sign of a thoughtful kitchen. We started with Aloo Paneer Tikki and Papdi Chaat, both excellent. The tikki was crisp and satisfying, and the chaat had that perfect mix of textures and tangy brightness. For mains, we shared Chicken Vindaloo, shrimp curry, Chicken Biryani, Mutter Aloo, and vegetable fried rice, all accompanied by warm, soft, slightly crisp butter naan. Everything was beautifully presented, well prepared, and balanced in spice without overwhelming the palate. And then... the cocktails. My friend and I ventured into margarita territory, one spicy and one with ginger, both crafted so well that we immediately ordered a second round. No regrets. If I had one small wish, it would be for music that leans more into the cultural experience. A sitar in the background or even Bollywood scenes on the screens would add an extra layer of immersion. That said, the American music playing was tasteful and unobtrusive. If you're in the suburbs and craving good Indian food with warm hospitality, this is your place. We'll definitely be back.

We ordered a chicken curry, chicken biryani, and lamb Rogan Josh. Chicken curry tasted great, chicken biryani had good flavor except it tasted sweet which we did not like, and lamb rogan josh was a solid 4/5 (better than most). We ordered couple garlic naan and a cheese naan. Only issue I have is that complimentary rice should come with curries. This was not the case, but almost every Indian restaurant does this with the exception of a few. Good ambiance, nice wall decor. I'd order again.

So, naturally we grabbed an Uber and made our way there. Sadly, we did not scope the website and when we showed up, they were closed for dine-in and only available for pick up and/or delivery. Not wanting to be defeated or change plans too much, we placed a quick online order and our Uber driver was chill enough to hang out with us. We waited around 15 - 20 minutes from time of order, and gave them a ring, letting them know our situation too. They were super kind and friendly and made sure to push things through fairly quickly. We ended taking the food back to hotel where we enjoyed at a table in the lobby. For starters, we scooped up a few varieties of naan, including garlic and chilli. For meals we went biryani and curry respectively. I went with the chicken biryani and my peer the lamb curry. The naan was phenomenal and the mains were delightful as well. The food was fresh and definitely authentic. I wish we could have enjoyed on site, but I feel we still got a good representation of what they offer! Overall, solid Indian spot that I definitely recommend when the craving hits!

We passed up dark, quaint, romantic places and followed ol gps to this strange, desolate plaza. And yonder sitteth Bowl O Biryani. Like I said, so large, I'm sure it echos when you flush the men's room john. It felt like the server was trying to get us to guess the word "lethargy"..we could hear her slides and socks combo shuffling to us from miles away. Yes, service was kind of slow. Food was not bad. I don't know why we got the mixed grill platter, so noob. It was good. I've had Indian restaurants serve me day old chicken before, thinking I wouldn't notice. Bowl O Biryani did not do that. The platter was colorful and fresh, marinated, and not so spicy. The giant paneer square was my favorite. Lamb saag was a winner. It was firey! We took a goat biryani to-go which was also good. Naan was soft. Desserts were okay. I'd come back if I'm in the area.

Our server was Ricky, who was helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and also not rushing our table. We see each other rarely so there was a lot of talking. We were seated and greeted, ordered the chicken 65, the bread basket (all different types of naan), and rice chips came to the table with two different chutneys. The chicken was dynamite and the onion garlic stuffed naan was my favorite. Tough to stop eating when you start with such amazing apps. They ordered butter chicken, and I got the eggplant, which always has been a personal favorite. Here it was beautifully plated, had some heat, and also flavorful as hell. I had to stop eating after a couple pieces because I was heating up massively. The weather was gorgeous so the doors were open. I was dressed for work, so I was blazing hot. We sat and talked for a while, then decided to come back and order desserts and coffee. Mango creme brûlée and the pistachio ice cream looked great. I had a mango smoothie which was refreshing and not too sweet. Ricky told us it wasn't super busy so we could stay, which was very kind of him. I have been exhausted all week, lots of meetings and I'll be flying home tomorrow. But this is definitely a large variety of options for people to find what they like. Thanks to Ricky and the team for a wonderful dinner! Support small businesses!

Rayan started by serving us a complimentary hot bowl of chicken corn soup. He gave us another bowl too! I must say everything we had tasted authentic and flavorful. They make everything in house right down to the end with deserts! We started with samosas which came out piping hot, filled nicely and not a bit greasy. I loved all the chutneys that accompanied all our dishes and soup. All the meats are halal in this establishment. We haven't had beef chapli kabobs this good in a long time. The chicken boti had a nice subtle charcoal flavor and every chicken piece was seasoned and flavored throughout not just on the top! They give you nice generous portions as well. When everything is made to order, it takes a little bit longer but it's well worth the wait. The desert of warm gulab jamuns in a nice syrup and kheer with chai was really delicious. We also tried thier mango lassi which was excellent! Overall each menu item has its own unique flavor and taste. You can't go wrong with whatever you order. Service is friendly and the food is very comforting. Don't pass up a chance to try their food. We are looking forward to our next visit to try thier other dishes!

I was quite simply, blown away by how good it was. It's an immense travesty on my part, that I took so long to get back there (to be fair to me, we have so many fantastic places to eat around here ). Thankfully, said travesty has now been amended, and I'm overjoyed to relate, that 6 months on, their food is still exceptional! I even opted to try completely different menu options from my last visit, so as to better explore their offerings. They had a few things on special, and I decided to take advantage of those specials! First up, was their Chicken Bhunah (Bhuna?), which is apparently a North Indian curry dish. I lament that I don't know much about regional Indian cuisine, but! I DO know tasty, and no joke, this was up there with some of the tastiest food I've ever eaten. The flavor on this dish, was next level stuff. And I'm talking like, you already beat all of Dr Wily's robot masters, you've stormed his skull fortress, beat the Robot Masters a SECOND time, and now you're staring down that goofy-haired old man, face to face. THAT'S the level of flavor I'm taking about. It was the perfect blend of savory, rich, fresh, and perfectly spiced. It hit in that way, that only Indian food can. If you know, you know. The chicken itself was so tender, and having marinated in that delicious sauce, every single bite was sumptuous and inviting. I didn't want to put my fork down. It came with rice and Naan, and while both were great in their own rights, I'm not ashamed to say, that I could've downed that entire bowl like soup, that's how good it was. I ended up using the Naan to completely wipe the bowl clean Next up, I decided to pair my Chicken Bhunah, with something to drink... They happened to have their Irani Chai also on special, and that sounded great to me. I love Chai in pretty much every form I've had it in, but was unfamiliar with the Irani version. This, turned out to be a mournful ignorance on my part. That, was some of the very best Chai I've had. It hit all the notes I'd expect from a good chai: It was creamy, flavorful, and had a little complexity to it's profile. But! It also had the most earthy vibe I've ever had from a chai. It was kinda nutty, but not in a hazelnut way, or something more familiar. I couldn't place the specific nuttiness, but I know that I loved it. Not only did it give the chai it's own unique character, it added an extra layer of depth to the whole experience. It felt...fuller, than almost any Chai I've ever had before. Now, granted...I don't claim to be any type of Chai expert. Far from it. So take my Chai praise with a certain grain of salt. But! I'll say this for certain: it was some really tasty Chai, way above what I was expecting, and especially paired with the Chicken Bhunah, it absolutely hit the spot. It was the perfect accompaniment. The final item I gorged myself on, was their Mango Lassi. In past instances where I've had Lassi, it's been depicted moreso distinctly as a drink, but they cast it as a dessert, so that's how I treated it. I ended my eating experience by wolfing it all down, all while smiling the biggest smile This was a great way to cap off my latest Kabab Mahal outing. Not only was it super tasty and filled to the brim with delicious mango flavor, it's vibrancy and tropical punch, was exactly what I needed after such a flavor-heavy entree and drink. If it hadn't delivered on that mango in a big way, it would've been completely overshadowed by the Chicken and the Chai (Sounds like a 90s indie rock band ). Instead, the mix of sweet mango and tangy yogurt, perfectly blended to create an almost pallet-cleansing experience, that helped simultaneously lighten AND elevate the entire experience. It wasn't too sweet, it highlighted the flavors at play, and it was the perfect amount to not overfill my generous belly. My overall takeaway from my second visit to Kabab Mahal, was one of sheer delight, and continued excellence. Based off my initial run-in with their food, I had high hopes that this would be a similarly fantastic lunch, and my expectations couldn't have been met to any greater degree. Moreover, since I was trying all new items (to me), it was even more impressive, because it just solidified how phenomenal their overall menu is, and the level of skill and commitment to excellence they display. For a place that's situated in a strip mall, next to smoke and pawn shops, it punches well above it's surroundings (no offense smoke and pawn shops). What I mean is, for a place tucked away where it is, you'd could be forgiven if you didn't expect some of the best tasting food in the entire area. It's the optime of a hidden gem, and alongside some of the other phenomenal local spots we have available to us, we truly have to count ourselves as fortunate, that we've got su
