This place has recently changed their name to "Salon Centric" but the employees are the same. They have had the same pleasant employees since I started coming here and that is always a plus. They are so nice and helpful. They will most likely greet you by name when you walk in if you come here enough. They sell professional hair products such as Redken, Rusk, Big Sexy Hair, Bed Head, Alterna etc. at wholesale prices. They carry items for chemical, skincare, and nails services. They accommodate from the work at home stylist to the large salon orders. They also have salon furniture and offer a list of continuing education classes.

Majority of the stuff in there is unreasonably priced and marked up like crazy. I go here as the last resort if I can't get it elsewhere. Definitely speak up because there have been price differences at their other locations meanwhile, the items are consistent in each store. A lady brought up this discrepancy at the front about the hats being $10 in Merriville, but six dollars in Gary and they decided to honor the price that was lower at their other Gary location.

I wanted photos of my mom and I as well as couples photos of my husband and I . The photographer Rachel was very thorough by explaining packages and pricing options and also making me aware of any promotions and offers that are currently available. I was pleased with the photos and the options she offered in addition to receptiveness to some of my ideas that I wanted to capture in some of the photos. The photo shoot was very enjoyable and now I have some beautiful memories of important people in my life thanks to the photo representative.
