My mom went there recently to look for some gel polishes and she was refused any help from the lazy cashier. My mom does not speak English and needed help with colors and distinguishing different types of polishes and the cashier repeatedly would tell her "what we have out is all we have" and would walk away even though the store was empty. I don't know if they have special employees to just ring up sales and someone else to help people but I am pretty sure anyone working should and is expected to help any customers out. I have also had very short comings with help in the same location but I would figure out my way around but this was the last straw. Horrible customer service! read more

Came back to return unopened and the ladies we're being extremely rude trying to say that it was empty when it was full to the top. I went in to try to return a hair waver, I had bought the box damaged and as a result they said that I had opened it so there was "no way she could refund this". Honestly there was no need for all that attitude, yes it is early and I get it retail and opening shop don't mix but I did nothing to deserve that. I've been followed at the same Sally's every time I shop too. Yes I am a teenager, and they have a bad rep for shoplifting but everything I need/want I pay out of pocket for. I went to this location to pick up some hair bleach. I asked for some assistance in finding the right kind of bleach for the color hair I had at the time (black). She suggested I use a hair lightener. I was slightly confused but I took her word for it seeing how she was the professional. Wrong wrong wrong. Did nothing to my hair other than cause unnecessary damage. I blame myself for not knowing as well. And if she was at all nice or friendly I may have given them 3 stars. Clean store but their inventory is lacking. I'm not sure who does the ordering but I've been calling for the past 2 months and asking to see if they have a particular item in stock and the answer is always no. The location is very convenient for me, which is why I've been so persistent. Also, the customer service is average and the employees won't do more than the bare minimum to assist you. Dry vibe. No welcoming whatsoever. They weren't even busy at all. Chit chatting about their personal life. The girl with the pink hair had a disgusting attitude. Terrible customer service! If your only job in life is 2 tell the customer where things are and take there money you would think that would happen with no problems... Well not here! I asked if they carried castor oil the red head pointed 2 a rack with like 100 different products of me that was only about 5 feet away and just walked away from me and went back to the counter. I've shopped here a few times before, and I've never had any trouble. Whenever I don't know exactly what to get the girls at the counter have just the answer! But today I went in to get some bleach and toner to lighten my hair, and I wasn't sure which toner to get. The girl directed me to a wella T14, after I described wanting to go as platinum blonde as I could get my hair, noting that it has been treated before and may not get super light. When I got home and used the toner, after bleaching, it turned my hair grey! GREY!!! Um what?! I know I said platinum blonde but I didn't mean a deep GREY finish!!! Guess I'll have to do my own research on products from now on...after another round of bleaching the hair seems to be ok, but it was bad! read more

If your employees can't be courteous to customers they shouldn't be working at your store. I went in today 9/5 around 5pm and two girls (a red head and a thin black hair) were at the cashiers just chit chatting. I walk in asking if I can get assistance the black hair girl answers with attitude and asked me what I wanted as I described what I need the red hair girl says she'll help me. We start walking to the back when the other girl says " I'll return to doing what I was doing before we got rudely interrupted " Seriously? I'm a paying customer and I have to get attitude and rude remarks? No wonder this store has bad reviews. I've been going to Sally's sence I was a teenager and never in my life have I been this disrespected. So I go in for an interview and these girls at the register are talking to eachother in Spanish thinking I don't know what they are saying but I did and they were talking about me being transgender and how one of them doesn't beleive it's ok because of her religion. Seriously? Than a few days later I'm there getting color for my boyfriends niece and they say in Spanish, "watch out she's coming for your job". I didn't hear it but my boyfriends cousin was at the front and told me about it. I don't care that I didn't get the job now cause I would never wanna work with people that treat customers so poorly. i'm disgusted by the employees at this store and sent an email to the superior and considering my Aunt works at headquarters in North California I suspect these people won't have jobs for long.
