The empty counter regardless they're making me wait and wait for extraordinarily expensive pizza

Well, for instance, no lunch menu and I'm spending $25 and change for a small pizza. The two toppings my gosh. The staff told me it takes over 20 minutes to get and it's very slow And they're not overly friendly Guess I'm just waiting in line!! 15 minutes later no pizza Pizza should be quick!! especially when they're not busy no urgency

Crispy chicken cutlet on a Caesar salad

Cheese pizza was solid, the sauce was the highlight - a bit sweet and savory, and the dough was slightly fluffy with decent char. The small 12 inch was plenty for 2 people with a chicken caesar salad. The crispy chicken cutlet we added to the salad was a huge portion and was seasoned well and juicy. I liked the pickled red onions and the dressing was pretty good, but they did -not- mix it well, about half the romaine was coated in huge globs of dressing. We didn't finish the Caesar due to the globs of dressing. Cocktails were okay, but lacking in presentation and not worth the price point, it's nearly the same price as a small pizza. Service was good and the space is large and trendy, but the music was very loud, so it was hard to have a conversation. We tried paying the bill with the QR code on the check, which ended up stuck on a loading wheel, so we had to flag the server down to confirm it went through. Overall the food was pretty good, but next time I'd skip dining in and do pick up for a pizza and ask for salad dressing on the side. Parking in this plaza on a weekend is also hell on earth, so be prepared to do some circling around.

Tried New York-style at John's and Joe's. Chicago deep dish at Giordano's. Finally got to try what is arguably the best pizza in America. New Haven-style Apizza. Thin charred crust. Perfect cheese to sauce ratio. It was everything I had hoped and wanted it to be. The oven cook looked like he took pride in the quality of pizza coming out of the oven. Took our pizza to go and at it in the car as we were headed to a bakery in Boston's Little Italy. But the place looked amazing inside and a wonderful place to dine in. I am only docking this review 1-star because at this particular location, the front counter person seemed miserable and projected that onto the customers.

Sally's is a good pizza restaurant with a modern decor. It's generally pretty busy during dinner time so I recommend making a reservation with OpenTable. A lot of the apps + drinks are pretty good. The wings and mozzarella sticks (mozzarella triangle) is pretty good. Any of the fresh tomatoes pie is my favorite pizza but the signature charred bottom on the pizza isn't my favorite so prepare for that.

Way more cheese than your typical Sally's Apizza. Heavy heavy heavy !

First off I'll say I've been to NH Sally's a dozen times and it's phenomenal. Been here to Woburn Sally's 6 times now and there is NO comparison. None whatsoever. But Woburn is usually decent. Not great but decent. If you go here thinking you'll get the true Sally's Apizza it ain't going to happen. Go to NH. Went to Sally's Woburn for lunch Dec 31. Waited a few minutes for the hostess to come over. When we asked for a booth, we were told "sorry we don't have any clean booths right now". Imagine telling your customers that? So we walked by several clean and ready booths by the door and were seated in a back corner table. Looking around the dining room we did notice 4 other booths that were filthy. Wait staff walking all around, a manager on a laptop sitting alone in a clean booth and all completely ignoring the dirty booths. The place was very slow and quiet so not sure why tables were dirty. Also not sure why we couldn't sit in the several clean booths. They had a quiet dining room and plenty of staff available. The server took a long time to acknowledge us. When she finally did, she took our drink order and disappeared again. When she finally came back, she took our appetizer order and disappeared. This was the theme of the afternoon. Constantly disappearing and leaving us looking for her. Again, it was a quiet afternoon here - there was no need for this.  We finally got our drinks and appetizers and sat there for a long time, without service, with a table filled with dirty dishes and empty glasses. When she finally came back to take our pizza order, she didn't clear a single plate. It was honestly gross, the table needed to be cleared and she didn't take one single cup or dish or silverware away during our lunch. We even pushed everything to the corner of the table and she never took the hint. Nor did she ask if we wanted anything else to drink. She just simply did not care.  When our pizza finally came, it was practically soup. The amount of sauce made your normally crisp pizza soft and floppy. No one else's looked this way and we've never had this experience. Weird again considering it was quiet. Again, our waitress had disappeared so we spent 10 minutes waiting to tell her our pizza wasn't good. She finally acknowledged it, took the pizza and said she'd have the kitchen remake it. The replacement pizza got to us way too fast. It was very clearly a deliberate "oh you think this is too much sauce? Here's too much cheese." My Gf didn't bother trying it because it was so cheesy. I took two bites and put it down, cheesy and undercooked.  By this time, we had given up. Our server didn't care, the kitchen didn't care and we were just so disappointed we wanted to leave. We had to physically flag her down and when she came over, said she'd take it off the bill and that was that. No manager came over to talk to us about this, nothing. I've never had a restaurant crew care so little.  We paid and when we were leaving we noticed a woman sitting at one of the front clean booths on her laptop. She had been there the entire time we were there. I asked the hostess if it was the manager, she laughed and said yes. I told her to tell her she should probably get back to her job because quite frankly our experience was so bad if it had been our first time there, we'd never go back. I think if we go back we will stick with dinner time service at the bar. We usually sit at the bar and the bartenders are always on their game and we always see involved managers on the night team. Lunchtime crew, including the young female manager who didn't appear to be working all need some serious talking to.

To still be suffering is stupid after all of this time New Haven Original Clam Pie and Italian Style Wings from #sallyspizza
    Mojo S.

White clam pie? Shiznit, ginger, that's all you had to say... To say that New Haven Style pie is my favorite style pie doesn't give enough credit to how much I like the style. To me the only top pies on the country have to be New Haven style; anything else is just second-rate--including New York and Chicago. And to be the elite of the elite it has to be white clam pie. If you can't do that right, you have no business doing New Haven style pizza. And Sally's does amazing white clam pie. I daresay they're elite at it.

    Smallest pizza ever!

Good pizza! The last time i was here, the pizza was very small. I went again today and it was a good size. Great pizza!

    Broccolini

this pizza gave me back my spark :') we went for an early dinner and the restaurant was basically empty. we got the broccolini and the house salad to start. the broccolini was charred perfectly and the sauce that came with it was so delicious that we saved some to dip the pizza in. the salad was so large, it felt like a whole entree on its own. it did have some raw mushrooms so I wish the menu said they would be raw and not cooked. the dressing on it was nice and light. the pizza!!!!!!!!! it was the star of the meal!! the waitress suggested we get the large for two people to share but it was ginormous. we measured and it was about 18 inches in diameter, so it can definitely feed more than 2 people. the potato slices were so good and the rosemary gave it such a nice fragrance. we added sausage to it too. we had so many leftovers from this meal so it'll feed you for another few days. the crust didn't get soggy even after reheating! the restaurant has a really cute vibe and saw they had a frozen marg machine so I can't wait to come back during the summer to try those out!

Clam pizza was not good. Clams were sandy and tough. The dough and cheese were good though. The bathroom has black toilets which was cool.

Is there handicapped parking close to Sally's? From a map it looks like one space.

    Yes

Is it easy to get parking?

It can be very difficult to get a parking spot near Sally Apizza during the more popular hours. The lot is confusing and it is hard to walk the maze if you park further away. However, the pizza is worth it!

The corned beef is large chunks, not small diced pieces found in most commercial and canned hash. The potatoes, peppers, and onions gave a nice texture and flavor. I had it topped with two over medium eggs which were perfectly cooked. As I was eyeing the French toast, he gave me a single piece which included their fruit infused whipped cream and was really, really good! That might be my entree next time. My friend got the crepes and her face was doing happy expressions while she was eating. My new best friend Maria kept my coffee mug full-she visited the table frequently to make sure my mug never got low nor cold. She also took care to clean the table promptly as plates were finished. Now if my kids could learn that... oh wait, this is a diner review. The ambiance is cute and chic. There was easy access to accommodate wheel chairs and they have their menu clearly marked for gluten free available and vegan options (most of the menu). The menu is on the fancier side; they will prepare whatever someone wants (e.g. if someone just wants 2 eggs and bacon, they can easily do that). The location is on Main St. so parking is hit or miss. If you are nearby and want something good, this is a good option!

I ordered the chicken sandwich combo with fries--mild, I think. Maybe medium. Whatever it was, it had more legitimate heat than the Burger King Jalapeño Whopper ever dreamed of having, and it made Taco Bell's Diablo sauce taste like something you'd give a toddler. It wasn't painful, just the kind of spice that politely reminds you who's in charge. The chicken was juicy, the breading stayed crispy, and the sandwich had just the right amount of everything. The fries deserve some credit too. Crispy on the outside, soft and pillowy inside--the way fries always promise to be but rarely are. When the box showed up, my first thought was, "That's it?" Five minutes later I was forcing down the last few bites because I refused to let perfectly good chicken go to waste. The portions are a lot more filling than they look. We had everything delivered through DoorDash, so I can't say much about the restaurant itself, but whoever packed the order deserves a shout-out. Everything was boxed neatly, looked like it had actually been assembled by someone who cared, and somehow arrived still steaming hot. If you had told me it had come straight from the kitchen to my table, I would've believed you. First time trying Dave's, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. Now I just have to work up the courage--or stupidity--to order something hotter next time.

I love Pressed Cafe! I have gone to quite a few of their locations and am always impressed. I love…read morehow each location has its own style and flair from a layout and decor standpoint but that they all keep the same level of efficiency and quality. I was really happy to hear that a location was opened in Woburn as it's wicked close. This one is in a great spot with plenty of parking - while the street itself on can get busy/hectic, something has to be! This location also has a nice sized outdoor seating space with a mixture of tables both in sun and shade via umbrellas. The inside is open and spacious with lots of nooks and crannies. They have a menu dock when you first walk in, and they have added two kiosks for self-service ordering. If you prefer to order with a person, you can still do that too up at the counter, and then there is another menu dock up by the registers to dispose of the menu upon ordering. The placement of the self-serve kiosks is good because you can't miss it, however, with how crowded and busy Pressed Cafes can get it can easily get really crowded since it is by the door - and if you don't realize it's kiosks, I'm afraid people will stand around waiting not necessarily knowing they can go order at the counter. Now let's talk the menu. It's massive with so many options. They do breakfast and lunch items all day long. So many options like you could go to pressed every day for a long time and/or for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and still have a different item for days, weeks, and maybe a few months. Now, every location has the same core menu, but some locations have extra sections or items - most notably for this Woburn location, is the brick oven and pizza - which smells so delish! The food is always amazing, always fresh, and made to order. Plus the portion size is very generous!! I have never got something that was not good and I did not like! I find the service to also be excellent. They are very friendly and again with how busy it gets there, they do a phenomenal job at keeping things moving - from taking orders, to delivering your order, to getting pickup/online orders ready, to cleaning up tables, etc. - they are so efficient. Prices are moderate. Depending on what you get, it can get pricey but it's not terribly overpriced considering - it is an upscale cafe and well, you do get what you pay for. All in all, I rant and rave about Pressed Cafes. You want breakfast, Pressed. You want coffee shop, Pressed. You want lunch, Pressed. You want a cool, hip, vibing place, Pressed. You want quick and efficient service, Pressed. Not sure what you want but want fresh, Pressed. Just go to Pressed! I did a pick up order for Chai Tea Latte a while ago for my first time at this shop and then went back most recently for sit down meals twice in one weekend - lunch and then breakfast. Pictured is my coffee from breakfast. Forgot to snap pics of the rest, but all looked and tasted great!
