However, I am absolutely heart broken to say my hair was not done well and not HOW I ASKED it to be done. When I made the appointment, I asked for heat rollers to be used because even though my hair curls & holds fine at home, when I get my hair professionally curled it never holds. THE OWNER REPLIED TO MY GOOGLE REVIEW SAYING MOST SALONS DON'T HAVE HEAT ROLLERS. I WAS TOLD BOTH TIMES I CALLED THAT HANNAH WOULD BE REMINDED TO BRING IN HEAR ROLLERS. SO NOT ONLY WAS I LIED TO, BUT THE OWNER COULDN'T EVEN BE EMPATHETIC AND APOLOGETIC BUT INSTEAD BLAMED ME FOR NOT ADVOCATING BETTER FOR MYSELF. The morning of my appointment, I called again to remind them to ask Hannah to BRING IN heat rollers to use on my hair. I requested them a third time when I got to the salon for my appointment. Hannah shrugged it off, saying she believed the "velcro rollers" would only give me volume and not curl and that she would curl my hair with a curler & pin it for a few minutes to let it set. I trusted the professional, but I should have stood up for myself and insisted on using heat rollers. Within 30 minutes of leaving the salon, the curls were gone. I was absolutely devastated. This maternity photo shoot is obviously a huge deal, once in a lifetime thing, and I just spent $155 (tip included) for great makeup and flat, straight hair. I was so disappointed that my requests were not met. My appointment was scheduled to be three hours long, but it only took two hours if that gives you any idea how much shorter "pinning my hair" took than the heat roller method would have taken. I rushed to Ulta, seeking some sort of last minute option as I was absolutely heart broken that I had just spent so much time & money on my hair that was an absolute fair for such an important event. Ulta curled my hair for $30 and those curls lasted for most of the photo shoot. They also wondered why the salon wouldn't do what I requested and even said heat rollers is the tried and true method that worked for our mothers and grandmothers, having no idea what Hannah meant by "velcro rollers that don't curl your hair." Anyways, I made the best of the photo shoot (which was cheaper than the hair & makeup) but having to drive in 3 hours & out 3 more hours and spend hundreds of dollars and take off work etc etc I would have liked to have gotten the hair style I asked THREE TIMES for. I called the salon one day, and they were able to schedule me for the following day. They put me down with Ryan, and I'm so glad they did! Ryan took time to talk me through my desired style and how it would work best with my particular hair texture. He was very nice to talk to, and the finished product was exactly what I wanted! He explained things to me that I hadn't realized before about different hair color pricing and strategies in case I want to do that in the future. I will definitely be back on a regular basis!

I reached out to Katie asking is she could get me back in to put more highlights in and she responded saying the results I got were what we discussed in our consultation and saying I was changing my mind. I understand being a first time client that there can be miscommunication, but I showed a reference photo and stated multiple times how I wanted to be brighter and she instead put a dark color in my hair. I went ahead and reached out to the salon owner who told me that Katie told her she couldn't get me the results like the picture I showed her, which is simply a lie. I have been getting my hair highlighted for 25 years and never had an issue getting it blonde. I told the salon owner I did not feel comfortable coming back in at this point and wanted a refund since I was now being treated like I was the problem. The salon owner said Katie would reach back out to me and she did not. I had to reach out to Katie again and asked for a refund since I would have to go to another stylist for the results I wanted. She responded saying she will not issue a refund since I took time in her chair and used a good amount of hair products. This experience has been very upsetting 1. to be told I'm basically lying and 2.spending $370 and getting the opposite result of what I wanted. Very unprofessional and not what I would expect from a "high profile" salon.

Not only did Katie make my short, difficult hair look awesome, she was quick! One bridesmaid had accidentally tanned a temporary tattoo into her arm, which Shelby was able to cover with airbrush, making it completely disappear. Both ladies were fun, easy to work with, and priced very well. Also of note, when additional family members wanted to have hair and makeup done the ladies accommodated as possible, but at a certain point they said, "No. Now it's time to do the bride's hair and makeup", keeping the bride and her mother from having to run that awkward interference. Masks required. The team greeted me and got me a water, plus pointed out Sam to me. Fantastic shampoo and my hair smelled divine! Sam let me know the type of shampoo she was using on my hair and why, then helped me determine which style to go with for my event. I decided to do "sleek and smooth", which is exactly what I left with, and what I still have the following day. My hair feels great and Sam was kind. I appreciated her not rushing my experience and providing me with a great blow out. Reasonably priced as well, compared to other spots. I'll be back, 100%!

It sucky sometimes when I say something not thinking lol. They take you upstairs to get your eyebrow waxed on a nice comfortable chair with a light.
