So in the end it turned out amazing. For any other first timers what I learned was go shorter the first time than you might actually think you want especially if you have shorter or finer hair to start like I did. It was quite the learning experience altogether. I first went in on a Monday and Stephany spent so much time treating me; colored my real hair fist to get the consistent color throughout then she added in the 20" extensions, cut and trimmed, and then toned the extensions after I originally went with a mix of dark brown and some highlighted brown extensions. The color match wasn't quite right so she toned the extensions after they went in. She layered the hair and the top of my actual hair to transition better. She dried and styled my hair but it was pretty late so the color before I left was hard to tell on the color because the natural lighting was gone. The next day I sat on it and decided it wasn't quite right for me. I messaged the salon and the Owner Christy was so kind and told me to come back in so we could get it right. That she did. I ended up coming back after a few days and Christy and Stephany helped me get it perfect! They cut several inches off like maybe 4-5" to get a more natural look for me personally and she added in lots of layering and recolored the extensions to get them closer to my natural hair rather than a balayage look because it wasn't quite right yet. Stephany and Christy were so gracious and didn't make me feel weird about wanting an edit. They treated me so well and honestly it's better than I imagined having had such thin hair I never thought it could be like this. I didn't pay anything extra to get it how I wanted it. So anyhow thank you for everything I'm so happy with the end result! Y'all are the best!

I've always struggled with my hair bc I've never had a proper stylist who knows how to do curly hair before, so it was amazing getting to talk to someone like Kimberly. i even noticed how focused and observant she was with my hair at times to decide how to care for it. she also did really well explaining whatever she was doing with my hair and why she was doing it, which was also awesome. plus, not only did the color and the curly cut come out the way I wanted them to, I was also introduced to lots of new products that worked very well with my hair! Kimberly even recommended several other viable products that I could purchase for hair care too. I wondered why I didn't see any reviews on Kimberly yet, and I learned that she just started working at hair eco pretty recently so that may be why. so hopefully this review is helpful!
