I had my haircut by Emily! She was absolutely amazing and very knowledgable :) My hair had grown out for about 6 months from an asymmetrical bob cut, and it was completely dull and lifeless. Emily was very easygoing and made me feel comfortable during the whole process, not to mention an awesome scalp massage. The total came out to be $55 ($65, because I gave $10 for tip), which includes a massage, shampoo, blowdry, and cut/style. I had been thinking about doing an eyelash lift for some time and when I saw the ad in the Sun Newspaper I made an appointment right away. Alexis did my appointment and she was amazing; very professional, knowledgeable, informative and fun. The process took less than an hour and it was comfortable and relaxing. I LOVE the results! I have long lashes but they were straight and eyelash curling didn't hold. Now, I just dab on a bit of mascara and I'm good to go. I now have a much more open eye, defined look. I've loved this salon from the first time I found it when I was searching for Aveda products when I moved to Long Beach two years ago. The welcome I received from Tula was the warmest and friendliest ever. I think she even invited me to a salon event that first time I went to buy products. I've been buying products there since then and I just got my hair cut there for the first time ... kept going back to my old shop in Torrance. What a difference! I wish I would've went sooner! This is the best experience I have had in a salon in quite sometime. Emily was incredible. She is bubbly, confident and very knowledgeable about the products. I had previously had my hair highlighted at a salon and the contrast was not natural and it did not even come close to what I asked for. Emily fixed what had previously been done. She made my hair look much more natural and weaved in dirty blonde to counteract all the intense highlights. I am so so pleased with my experience. The vibe in this salon is relaxed and the owner is down-to-earth and truly cares about how your experience was. Made an appointment last minute for the next morning. Courtney did my cut and color. She came in and opened the salon early just for my appt. She took her absolute time, didn't rush, listened to all my concerns, and out of her own caution, cut a very small amount at a time to make sure she didn't cut to much. By the end she had cut 3 times and was willing to do more if I wanted her to. She was very patient, friendly, and seemed genuinely happy with her job. I will definitely return to the salon the next time I'm in town. I believe I paid about $140 for 2 colors and the cut. read more

Carlye has been my hairdresser the entire time and she knows my hair!! I feel very confident each time I take a seat in her chair and I know I will leave loving my hair. My appointment was with Sparrow for a cut and color. She was wonderful! She was very friendly and took her time. She asked what I wanted and then really listened to what I said and looked at photos I brought, and she asked clarifying questions to make sure the goal for my cut and color was clear. She gave me such a good haircut! I love all my layers, I have so much volume now! Sparrow did a beautiful job at mixing up colors that enhance my skin tone... she even managed to make an amazing violet that she did this gorgeous ombre with! And she's also able to do feather extensions - they're responsibly sourced feathers that she has in a myriad of colors. I think they're so fun, so I got two put in!
