After about 6 months after my first haircut with her, and the tips she's provided, my hair is low key thriving! Let's start off with location... She's located downtown Hayward off B Street. Although, parking kinda sucks, and it is the Main Street with so many cars, her place is so cute! Inside her place, there plenty of seating, and a lot of chairs available. For the most part, whenever I go see her, I'm probably the only other client inside - just incase you guys get nervous for Covid reasons. Nancy is so welcoming. She starts off asking you what you want to do with your hair, and she observes and starts framing your face to see if you would like it and gives out suggestions as needed. Then she washes your hair, and then she begins the cut. She's so knowledgable in the industry. She given me helpful advice on how to maintain my hair. For reference, I've always had to wash my hair daily because it's always getting so oily. So she's given me tips on how to prevent it. And after 6 months of following tips, and seeing what works for me, my hair is fuller, healthier, and thriving as I've mentioned. She also sells products in house just in case you want to obtain professional items. I highly recommend her. You won't regret it.

I'm very disappointed with the service I received from one of the stylists, Zoe. This was my first…read morehaircut at this salon, and I had been looking forward to it. I showed her a photo of the hairstyle I wanted. The side-swept bangs were supposed to be longer, with only a small amount of shorter pieces to create a natural, blended look. Unfortunately, Zoe miscalculated the length, and a large portion of my bangs was cut too short. I didn't want bangs that simply covered my forehead, I wanted them to look soft and natural. The final result looked nothing like what I had requested. After I pointed this out, Zoe asked me to show her the reference photo again. Once I did, she insisted that my bangs looked the same as the ones in the picture. No, they absolutely did not. She even said, "You didn't know it would look like this?" Of course I didn't, because this was not the style I wanted, nor did it resemble the bangs in the photo I had shown her. Throughout the conversation, I remained polite and tried to communicate my concerns calmly, but she defended every aspect of her work. Then, she kept cutting my hair, I feel like I should've stopped her at that moment but I didn't know if she was finishing up or trying to fix it, but my hair looks frizzy now after too much trimming. The rest of the haircut was not what I expected as well including the back and the sides. I feel like she lacks the skills to work with face shapes and the ability to understand what customer wants. Another thing is that if you don't use Zelle or Venmo, you will have to pay at least $100 to pay with your Visa card. The haircut was $80, and I had to pay $20 more for tip and/or a fee which is 25% more, for a bad haircut, can you imagine that?

It was my second time coming in, and since my hair had grown out, I just needed a trim cleaning up the sides while keeping the length on top. Karl Cheung was my stylist, and he was fantastic. He immediately understood what I wanted and executed it perfectly. I also had my hair washed before the cut and tried a down perm for the first time, which made a huge difference since my hair tends to stick up and get unruly. Overall, the experience was great the vibe, the music, and how clean everything was really stood out. And honestly, for the quality, the price (even with tip) at $153 felt totally worth it. I'd definitely recommend this place.

His entire team, Lynn, were very nice & skilled with what they're doing. As we know hair highlights are expensive but our experience especially my daughter's was worth it. They gave us excellent customer service, didn't make us feel intimidated as I had questions and they answered me respectfully, no arrogance, they give attention to details and exceeded my daughter's expectation for her hairstyle inspiration. The salon was also clean. Highly recommended and I'll be back for my haircut soon.

I showed several inspiration photos and explained that I was hoping for a straighter, more blended look. The haircut was completed in about 10-12 minutes, which honestly surprised me because I've never had someone cut my hair that quickly. I left terrified. Unfortunately, the result wasn't what I asked for. He added more layers than I wanted, even though I specifically requested a straighter style. He also cut my hair about two inches shorter than I had requested, and the layers don't blend as smoothly as I would like. The haircut doesn't look terrible, but it wasn't the look I was hoping for, and the appointment felt rushed. While Jim was kind and professional, I left feeling disappointed and not very happy with the final result. Because of that, I probably wouldn't return.

KOREAN LASH LIFT WITH AMANDA REVIEW…read more i've been seeing amanda for my lash lifts for several months now, after years of wanting to get them lifted but being too scared bc my eyes are so sensitive, especially after laser eye surgery. my lashes are long but so straight and without curling them i look so sleepy. i also don't wear makeup so this is the main "makeup-y" thing i do. but curling them everyday with a lash curler, having to use mascara that make my eyes itch and them not lasting in hot humid weather was a pain and time suck hassle. amanda is so gentle and careful with her technique, i experienced absolutely no irritation (surprisingly!) with any of the several sessions and after a few sessions have found my ideal curl shape. i just got them done again yesterday, woke up to seeing them curled perfectly in the mirror and i am so happy! i drive all the way from oakland just to have her do them for me every 6 weeks. i'm so happy to support a genuinely caring and skilled person, the drive and time spent is well worth it. plus she has so many cute decorations and treats for her clients to enjoy, i love the novelty and professionalism of it all. thanks amanda !

My hair is long, but it isn't completely straight like most common Asian hair. My hair had gotten to the point where I really needed a trim to get rid of a lot of the split-ends, but I didn't have time to drive all the way into SF (where I use to live before moving to Hayward) just to visit my usual hairdresser/stylist. I contacted Lien via text and she was super responsive. I was also able to schedule an appointment with her the next day during the afternoon. Not only that, Lien is super nice and friendly! She listened to my concerns about my hair and made sure everything was to my liking before I left. Great person and great service. I will definitely be contacting Lien as my go-to from now on!

She definitely knows what she's doing and was super quick. My layered haircut only took about 15 minutes. I showed her few pictures of the style I wanted, and because I have frizzy, wavy hair, it's hard to really see the layers without a blowout. I asked if she could do a blowout after the cut, and she did. It looked great and was exactly what I wanted! During the haircut, I was so nervous and probably told her "not too short!" like 20 times, haha. She was very patient, listened to what I wanted, and made sure I was comfortable. I'm really happy with the result and will definitely come back. Great price, convenient location, good service, and great skills! :) Parking: Parking is available.
