Never judge a restaurant by its appearance... or in this case by its smell. When we arrived there was an interesting smell. We looked at the menu and were excited to see Birria Ramen! Yayyy! We ordered Birria Ramen and Taquitos combination plate. Wow, the Birria ramen is the best I've tasted and especially appreciated the finishing touch of a taco in it. 10/10 for presentation, taste and generous garnishes. The taquitos were good but the Birria ramen knocked it out the park. The horchata was also quite delicious and a nice sweet drink to go with our meal. I'd come back for some Birria ramen! The lady (she looked like she was doing it all) was super helpful and quick to bring out our food. They have lots of indoor seating, perfect for when it's chilly outside. read more

I can't stop thinking about the carne asada California burrito I had here. It was SO good. If you aren't paying attention, you could easily miss this tiny spot in mammoth - but please don't. Fish fresh, mild, beer batter. Cabbage, pico de gallo, and thousand island dressing. Perfection. Birria was stuffed with meat, and the consumme delicious. Two day stay in Bishop. Really enjoyed the food here. Rice and beans are yummy. To me if the rice and beans are good, then pretty much everything else will be. A suggestion, michelada could be stepped up.
