With very few dining options in the area--and while celebrating my partner's birthday--we expected at minimum a decent meal and basic respect for our time. What arrived was inedible. The meat was so tough it could not be chewed. When we brought this to the waitress's attention, the cook came out and explained that their usual distributor had delivered the wrong meat, and this was what they were serving. So the restaurant knowingly served substandard food and simply hoped customers wouldn't complain. More than half of my meal and a significant portion of my partner's were left untouched. In response, they applied a laughable 15% discount--an insulting gesture given the quality of the food and the length of the wait. I'm appalled that this establishment would charge full price for food they knew was poor quality. I regret stopping here at all and am leaving this review to spare others the same mistake.

The crema wasn't cloying or syrupy, just enough to dress the fruit (and be a drinkable treat at the end after mixing with the juice). I've had dozens of bionicos over the years and I can tell this one was made with care using fruits of many different textures, not just thrown together. Didn't get a chance to try the other items since we're passing through, but I'm sure they're legit. Give them a try. Your temporal lobe (and other brain structures) will thank you.

When I picked up the food, everything looked rushed and just thrown into the boxes--and the steak was not cut. The rest of the meal was just as disappointing. The taquitos were plain with only cheese on top--no sides like guacamole or sour cream, especially disappointing for the price. The loaded potato wasn't even "loaded," just a plain potato. Between the poor service, lack of care, and declining food quality, this place is nothing like it used to be. It's honestly sad to see something that used to feel welcoming and enjoyable turn into somewhere I now dread going. I wouldn't recommend stopping here anymore. There are better places in town that actually value their customers.

Our smoothies were full of the frozen fruit, and sparing on the good ingredients (dates, chia, hemp). Basically, they are overloading on the cheaper bulk items, and stingy on the good ingredients.
