We stopped by Salt on a chilly Saturday around 11am after walking the beach. It is located in the outlets, so not the quickest café to get to, but we found parking sort of behind the shops and walked. I could certainly see it being a bit of a pain to get to in tourist season as you may have to park far, so it might not be worth the effort if you were coming only for Salt. Otherwise, if you're doing some shopping, I think it's a great spot to stop for a snack or drink. We ordered a latte and hot chocolate, plus a breakfast sandwich each. Drinks were ready within 5 minutes. I am picky about hot chocolate, and this was definitely not just a powder mix, so pleased with that. My husband said his latte was extra foamy (and exclaimed that's a good thing!). While we waited, we wandered the shop. There were clothes, accessories, some home goods, lots of gift-y items, plus wine and snacks. It is definitely cute, and while not the cheapest, there were some unique finds that could be tempting. After about ten minutes we'd seen it all and then we were just standing there. They have a bit of seating, but not nearly enough for all the people there as it was more customers utilizing them as a café than a shop. It ended up taking about 25 minutes. To be fair, they had warned us of a 20 or so minute wait, but it sure felt long for two sandwiches. I got the ham and brie bagel sandwich, and the result was not as yummy as the description. It was too much mustard and just a chunk of hard brie (where I'd expected it to be warmed and more melty), and the bagel itself was just okay...not bad, but just not all that great, especially after a long wait. I don't recall what my husband got, only that we both felt pretty meh. In the future, I would call ahead to order or if I just wanted to walk in, get a drink and a ready to go pastry. They do have some cute items if you are looking for a gift. I'd go elsewhere for food, though. read more

Found a seat and hung out with our coffee and beer. Ambiance had a great vibe. Location primo smart business choice located among the outlet stores. A few more tables to sit and enjoy the ambiance with my coffee would be nice but it was nice enjoy products you had for purchase. But overall for an outlet mall coffee couldn't be any better. This is a cool Starbucks type place. My family went for breakfast one morning. There wraps breakfast sandwiches were delicious. They also have a very good bagels. The service was fairly fast. We had quite a big size but got our food in a short amount of time. I would definitely go back again. The interior decoration is really fun and cool parking is a little bit tricky since it's connected with the outlet shopping center. So it tends to be very busy and not a lot of spots. After trying a variety of coffee shops up the coast I'd say this was by far our favorite. Depending on what time you go it can have a pretty busy line but it does move fast. They do sell out of some pastries as well which is something to be aware of because they are very delicious! I got a raspberry and cream pastry puff and I will think about it for the rest of the year. The drinks we got were a salted Carmel chai and a salted Carmel latte which were both delicious. When ordering the service was very friendly and helpful. I also got a breakfast burrito which was super filling. I will be making this my local stop from now on. The coolest spot you'll find in the outlet mall parking lot! Kidding aside this place is delightful. We had delicious breakfast burritos here. The staff is very friendly and kind and they have beautiful art and fun gift items/home goods. We were there in the morning but I'd hazard a guess that the evening vibes here are great too. This adorable little coffee shop is a must try. Nestled right in the middle of the outlet mall, it's convenient and tasty! The gals working the front were personable, kind, and caring. They even gave us a little pup cup for our dog. We got the lavender white mocha and Jacobsen sea salt and honey, both as breves and half sweet. They were the best coffees we've had on the coast! And we drink a whole lot of coffee. The shop inside is quaint and warm, making it the perfect place to unwind and relax. The food is also delicious! Came here after lunch to grab a snack and it was decently busy. People were leaving though so I was able to find a seat. I got the bagel with sausage, cheddar, and egg and it wasn't that good. I think that since they add so much cheese, it overpowers everything else and also makes the bagel very oily. My 3rd time here and I love it! I regularly come to Lincoln City but only recently discovered this haven of good vibes: chill music, friendly service, delicious food (including an array of gluten free items) and drinks, and lovely artwork curated by owner Shelby that on sale, made by artists local and beyond. I had the GF quiche lorraine, which had a flaky crust, crunchy bacon and a pleasing texture of soft cheese and spinach. I enjoyed the 2 mocha lattes I tried, and a Bloody Mary with a veggie skewer (they serve craft cocktails too). Fun to be in an eclectic, sea / salt- themed cafe that also sells art, tea, coffee, beer and wine, novelties, clothing, home decor, large busts of Buddha, books, cards, candles, etc. I'm told it's been open for 5 years. This place is so sweet! The coffee and food was all great. The atmosphere of Salt is great. The interior decor is adorable and fits really well with the collection of shop items (what cute measuring spoons!), we also liked their music. The only thing to improve is the lack of seating. We came in here wanting to read for a little while and there was no where to sit so we left and came back to get carry out. Luckily when we tried the second time, there was a sofa to sit on. I think they could easily fit more seating in the front of the shop and that this would solve the seating problem. read more

The girls at the front counter were friendly and quick to take my order. I have been meaning to leave a review for Salt for quite a bit now and I'm so glad I'm getting on this. The other day they just had their 5th year anniversary and I remember when I moved here I thought wow that looks like such a great place to go and similar to the places where I'm from. Salt is completely unique for this area, it is very classy and elegant in its own way. The food is absolutely delicious and fresh and I don't know much about the drinks because I don't drink coffee but it seems like people really love the drinks here. Every time I come in it is Full and I never get tired of here. In fact, I order a salad here almost every time I come here when I go to the gym next-door. The people that work here are so sweet and I really appreciate the fact that they help me get a salad even if they're out of salad they'll make one for me. If you're in Lincoln City or you live here make sure to go here, it's really a cool place to go and we have very few choices here and to be honest, we do not have good restaurants or places to eat here in fact most of us eat at home, but I am so glad just to find this little reprieve.
