Walking in, Host is nice. Server was friendly. Prices were outrageous, ive been a professional cook for 8 years and for the prices it is the worst quality and most lazy cooked steak i've ever eaten. edges tastes like burnt seasoning, fat on the ribeye cap wasn't seared to give that bone marrow texture and was flopped around. there was a lot of silver skin. $46 is fkin insane. i feel ripped off and unsatisfied. i came here to eat before i leave for the Navy. and this was not what i was hoping before i leave. 2 stars because ive been to salt grasses that were good but this one was not it.

I'm really not sure why the low rating, the service, food, cleanliness, and atmosphere were all fantastic. The steak was well seasoned, had a good char and cooked to a perfect medium rare. Quail poppers are absolutely great and I love the fried green beans! Great experience, will be back. Thank you to Nicholas for being such an attentive and professional server!

    Bacon fat

The bourbon glaze bacon has a great taste, however, if half of the bacon order is fat meat. It's not worth the price.

I have reviewed Saltgrass Steak House in numerous locations in town several times but this visit was worth a review. It was a busy time in the middle of the day on a Saturday and I was so impressed with our service. Our server was great and the food was all served cooked perfectly and in a timely manner. What impressed me was how actively involved the manager was in interacting with customers and facilitating service with a busy staff. Great customer service!!!

A Sunday Surprise at Saltgrass Steakhouse This past Sunday, what started as a casual stroll turned into a delicious adventure. I found myself at Saltgrass Steakhouse, a restaurant I honestly hadn't planned on but am glad I stumbled upon. I learned that Saltgrass is part of the Landry's family of restaurants, which explained the polished service and well-thought-out menu. Before I even ordered, the staff offered me their Rewards membership. At first, I hesitated when they mentioned the $25 fee, but then came the catch: you get it back on your next visit, plus a $25 birthday credit. Not a bad deal if you're planning to return--and after my meal, I knew I would. Starters: Queso with a Twist For an appetizer, I tried the queso with brisket, which was rich, smoky, and absolutely satisfying. Instead of just chips, they also brought out house-fried chicharrones, giving me two different textures to scoop with. Both were excellent, but the chicharrones really stole the show--light, crispy, and perfect with the creamy queso. The Main Event: Steak + Crab My entrée was a beautifully cooked steak topped with lump crab meat--a decadent combination that felt special without being over the top. It was served over fried asparagus, which added a unique crunch, and paired with a fresh salad and their signature warm bread. For my side, I went with a sweet potato, which was perfectly baked and comforting. Dessert Worth the Space Though I was already full, I couldn't resist ordering dessert. The homemade carrot cake arrived in a generous portion--moist, spiced just right, and layered with creamy frosting. It was so big I ended up cutting it in half and enjoying it over two days. Truly a sweet ending. Final Thoughts Saltgrass Steakhouse delivered on all fronts: quality ingredients, hearty portions, and attentive service. It's the kind of place that feels equally right for a casual dinner or for entertaining out-of-town guests. Between the brisket queso, crab-topped steak, and that unforgettable carrot cake, this restaurant has officially earned a spot on my go-back list.

The food here is good, it's not over the top but good for a big chain restaurant. I ordered the brisket tacos and the flavor was very good but they were served in a skillet and the bottom was full of grease, so ask for lots of napkins! My side was fries and they were on the soft side, no crunchy outer shell. Service was very good, and plenty of seating, clean and good music, not too loud.

Visited during restaurant week on a Thursday and was amazed by the food , service, and ambiance. This was a great opportunity to try some dishes I have never ordered before at Saltgrass for such a great price! I started off with the range rattlers! Large shrimp with jalapeño and cheese! Very delicious! Salmon Oscar was exceptional. For dessert I wanted the chocolate cake but they were all out so I tried their cheesecake still very tasty!!! Our server was wonderful and it was nice that at the Bandera location there was a very relaxing and come as you are vibe!

If you're looking for a place that feels less like a restaurant and more like you just walked into…read moresomebody's home after church on a Sunday... this is it. From the moment we stepped into 6 Klicks Cafe, the vibe was immediate--warm, welcoming, and real. Not forced, not corporate. Just genuine energy. The kind of place where you already know you're about to eat good before you even see the menu. The Food I ordered the grilled chicken marsala, and they didn't just throw it on a plate--they presented it. Everything looked intentional. * Chicken cooked perfectly * Sauce was on point * Mashed potatoes? Had me wanting the recipe after one bite * Green beans with sausage and onion--straight comfort food I also tried the chicken tenders, fries, and Texas toast--everything was done right. Crispy where it needed to be, flavorful across the board. Portion size? Let's be real, it felt like they made the plate for two people. ________________________________________ ‍ Service Service was top-tier. * Greeted immediately * Server knew the menu and helped us decide * Drinks came fast (shoutout to that blackberry tea ) * Food came out in under 10 minutes No waiting, no confusion, no "let me check on that" energy. Just smooth. ________________________________________ Atmosphere This place has identity. It's not trying to be trendy--it's authentic. You can feel the story behind it. Veteran-owned, patriotic, and built with intention. It's the kind of spot where you could sit, eat, and talk for hours without feeling rushed. Family vibe all day. ________________________________________ Price vs Value Not the cheapest--but worth it. When the portions are big, the food is made right, and the experience is solid... the price makes sense. ________________________________________ Final Verdict 10/10 (with no real complaints) This isn't just somewhere you eat. This is somewhere you go when you want real food, real service, and a real atmosphere. I'll definitely be back I'd recommend it without hesitation Not a one-and-done spot--this is a regular rotation type place

We didn't realize this place was a cousin of Shiro and owned by the same guy until we saw some similarities in their style, layout and menu but nevertheless, the food was still absolutely amazing. Even though the ambiance had some similarities, I'm glad their food options were distinguished because otherwise could have just gone downtown. You cannot go wrong with any of their food options. Highly recommend doing family style so you can get a taste of everything and all the different flavors. We started with the gyoza and calamari which were to die for and were not greasy at all. Pork ssam, wagyu, miso pasta and octopus all brought a little bit of their own element and flare to your palate that it's hard to describe unless you try it. Wagyu was just melt in your mouth delicious. Pork ssam and octopus had their crunchy texture and umami flavors. The miso pasta added a light refreshing touch to balance everything out but don't let it fool ya, the noodles will expand in your stomach. We topped it off with their yuzu cake. Our only disappointment was they were out of their other desserts but nevertheless everyone of us left full and happy. Would come here again.

When I first read about Yozora, I honestly thought it sounded a bit pretentious. Fascinating, but…read morepretentious. Because the idea of music being an actual integral part of the dining experience--not just some kind of background noise--felt a little precious for my taste. I'm glad to admit I was wrong. So let's start with the ambiance and the vibe of Yozora. It's in a fairly non-descript kind of center; not bad but not specially memorable. But the space itself is open and has an air of restrained sophistication. And then there's that hi-fi set up. The music at Yozora really is part of the experience, but it's not intrusive in the way that you'd think. Most of what my dining companion and I heard was 50s and 60s jazz, and it was perfect for the occasion. Sushi and Coltrane are a great mix, and even though we were not far from the hi-fi system, I could hear every word of our conversation, without the need for either of us to raise a voice. Somehow, it's like the music operates on a different frequency from regular table chatter. Suffice to say, the music enhanced the mood and really set a scene for Yozora's chefs to tell some stories. And that, they do really well. We started out with seasonal tempura and miso masu ceviche--ocean trout marinated in miso, soy, and lime juice--that was sublime. But funnily enough, the real star small plate was a truffle creamy miso soup that was earthy and slightly sweet at the same time and was silky in texture. From there, we ordered a series of crudo and battera, each unique in its own way. It was wonderful stuff, accompanied by a rice lager. The kitchen at Yozora is not shy about experimenting with non-traditional flavors and ingredients. Sometimes it works really well; sometimes, not as well, but it's never bad, and the servers actually ask for feedback for the kitchen, which is something I rarely see. Yozora honestly seems to be most concerned with creating a great dining experience, and it does that, from the chefs to the line cooks to the servers (who are helpful and attentive without hovering). The music, the mood, and the menu add up to a memorable experience.
