You can't cook an equivalent steak for cheaper. The prices are just a bonus, you come here for the service and the food. I have eaten at all the best steak houses in Vegas, and they were all good, but the Salt Grass is something else entirely . It's not just the steaks, it's not just the food, it's the service. The service is absolutely exemplary, they make you feel welcome and special from the minute they grab your menus and walk you back. You're not going to get the same quality of steaks you will at "Delmonico's or S&W", you are going to get a good steak, cooked exactly how you want it. Good drinks, great beer, great steaks, and some of the best service you have ever had, at shockingly fair prices.

Ribs and chicken with green beans

We stayed at the Golden Nugget where this restaurant is located. Walked down at 5 to put our name in for dinner and came back to our room. We were told the wait would be 45 mins, but it was really about 15. Great service and we got a table with a view of the beautiful Colorado river. The ribs were fall off the bone, chicken was delicious, and the green beans were really well seasoned! We got the chocolate cake and sadly, it was really dry. The vanilla ice cream helped a little but I wouldn't order it again. Everything else was great!

Located downstairs in the Golden Nugget on the riverwalk. Arrived for an early dinner. We were greeted immediately and seated at one of the window tables. We had an awesome view of the Colorado River. Charles, Our server, took our drink and appetizer order while we scanned the menu. Charles was very polite, friendly and helpful. I highly recommend you ask to be served by Charles. He was very helpful with our questions and made perfect recommendations. My favorite mushroom appetizer was served piping hot with a ranch dip. My smothered ribeye was cooked to perfection and the large serving of broccoli was the perfect with my steak. Service and food never disappoints. It is consistently top notch. I suggest you make reservations. If you don't have reservations arrive early and seating won't be a problem.

    22oz porterhouse

Ordered med rare 22oz porterhouse with smoked bacon but came out med well and thin cut with less than desirable marbling. Called waiter to tell him what I got and immediately manager came out to apologize and then the head chef brought out my steak himself and stood until I cut it and examine it. It was a much better cut of steak, thick juicy and med rare. I ate it all up and left very very happy. Bacon was absolute must...

We had a great dinner. The steak was soft and their blend is flavorful. I enjoyed the brisket burger as well, fries were just okay. Good service. It has a dark moody cowboy vibe.

First time coming here around 5:30ish pm, it was super busy and packed, live atmosphere ..the service was perfect. Our server was great and very attentive. I was honestly surprised by how good the food was. I ordered the Wagon Boss Cut Sirloin (8 oz) with a fully loaded baked potato and lobster, and it was delicious. Everything my party ordered was amazing! The food had real flavor not just salt and pepper, but actually well seasoned and tasty. I highly recommend this place and would definitely come back!

Forgot to make a reservation for our large group of 10. They told us the weight could be up to an hour, but we have eaten here EVERYTIME, and wanted our friends to try it, so we stayed. We only had to wait for 15 minutes and we got a table with the river view (thank you staff). We were treated like kings, our cups were never empty, salads and soups came out quick, hot and fresh. Even the appetizers came out before our main courses (which is a plus, in my book). The steaks were all cooked to perfection and the grump was grilled perfectly as well, I love it when you can taste the fire from. Grill. I am so glad that over the years, the service and food have never gone down it's always amazing, so that when you want to show off your #1 steak spot to your travel buddies, it does not disappoint, rather it continues the chain, and it becomes their #1 spot. Thank you again for amazing service(even with our large party) great food from fresh fresh crispy lettuce and amazing chunky blue cheese dressing, to my juicy tender steak and perfect loaded baked potato.

Our most recent trip to Laughlin Nevada we stopped at the saltgrass steakhouse. Normally, we are content with the prime rib room at the Riverside, but we ventured out this time. I'm not a big fan of chain restaurants but I was impressed. we made reservations two days before we dined. Luckily we did because it was quite crowded. We got a table within five minutes and ordered shortly after that. The server was attentive, but not overbearing. I ordered my T-bone Pittsburgh style came out perfect. On a personal note. I thought the lighting was a little dim for a steakhouse, but that is just my preference. The food was good and the service was better. Thank you for the experience.

Was here for the appetizers and drinks, they give good serving size of bread as well. I had some shrimp jalapeño poppers which were delicious and a Mai tai as well as a mint pomegranate drink. drinks here are very tasty. Service is awesome and I highly recommend this place for great drinks and service.

I took my husband to this steakhouse for his birthday. The first thing I would like to acknowledge is how attentive the staff were. Giselle and Chloe are just a two of the amazing employees that gave us some of the best service we've ever had. Seriously their service is impeccable. Their food was also delicious. I had the filet mignon prepared, medium rare with fried asparagus on the side. Both were delicious. The asparagus had a great crunch on the outside and a nice crisp on the inside. I saved the homemade ranch dressing I got with my salad to dip my asparagus in, and it was mouthwateringly delicious. We really enjoyed the ambience of this restaurant and took several interesting pictures of their decor. We had such an amazing birthday dinner that we can't wait to return. Thank you so much for such wonderful service and fantastic food.

So came here looking to get a steak for dinner. Service was the clear winner of my experience. Food was good. Cooked and seasoned perfectly. But for the price thought it should come with two sides instead of one. Ambiance is good and definitely know you're in a steak house.

Made a reservation about a month ago and when we showed up they were ready to sit us. We had a great river view! It was 5 of us and even with the picky eaters in tour party we were taken care of all the time. Our drinks were fast, and the level of detail when taking our order was impressive. Everything came out at the same time, proper temperatures. The dressings in the salads were definitely fresh (made in house) and the portions right. The same with the steaks: all came out cooked as ordered, except for the sirloin steak that was well done and was a little chewy because of that. The sides (baked potato, Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, green beans) were also perfectly portioned and flavorful. This place is always been consistent when it comes to flavors and service. We always enjoy our means here when we are in town!

Whenever we're on vacation in Laughlin, we like to head over to the Bullhead side for a good sit-down breakfast, and this place did not disappoint! I also noticed there's a full bar off to the right, and it was pretty packed We were seated on the restaurant side and attended to right away. The coffee was hot and delicious, which is always a great way to start breakfast! The menu was extensive, but I came for breakfast, so I went straight to that section and found the pork chop and eggs plate. It came with a choice of potatoes, and I chose the homemade fried potatoes. They weren't listed as an option on the menu, but our waitress was great about it and happy to get them for me for a small upcharge. The plate came with two eggs, and I was also able to choose a pancake on the side. There was also a choice of biscuits and gravy or toast. The portions were generous enough that I was able to share my meal with another person. And all of this was under $20! The pork chops were a great size, and I absolutely loved the way they were cooked. They were super crispy on the outside while still being tender and juicy on the inside, not dry at all. The pancake was another highlight. It was big, fluffy, and had that delicious homemade taste. We also ordered chips and guacamole, and I really enjoyed their chips. They were thick tortilla chips, super fresh and crunchy, and had just the right amount of salt. The guacamole was chunky and delicious. Everyone else in our group enjoyed their meals as well. I'm not sure if Benny's is a family-owned-operated business, but it felt that way. Everyone was friendly and attentive. Even the young kid who helped us toward the end was incredibly friendly and on top of everything, I noticed him at the front making sure the coffee was fresh, and he was such a hard worker. Overall, I had a great first experience at Benny's. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, the prices were reasonable, and the service was wonderful. Not terrible or awful, but bordering on being a nuisance in regards to time to table. That being said, the food quality was lacking. That is the issue. And it only matters because this restaurant is larping as a fine dining experience. I frequent vegas restaurants who pay more for overhead and location and their quality is far superior and similarly priced. The water tasted awful. Basically, If I could describe it, it tasted tainted by river. Like a swampy dirty smell with every sip. I basically stopped drinking any water during my whole dining experience there for this reason. Granted, it could have been my particular glass was dirty, or partially washed. It may just be that the water isn't filtered and it is tap. However after tasting my wife's, hers tasted similar albeit not as strong. The problem is, the tri-state area has the worst tap around. Everyone knows this. This wouldn't be a big deal if this was dennys. The problem is, like I said, this place is masquerading as a fine dining experience. It should be held to that standard. The minimum would be filtered water. So it's either a problem with the dish washer or the water itself is poor quality. Or they get the water from the casino bar which are notoriously bad quality in laughlin. Next we go to the meat itself. It may be that it was lacking because I went on their discount day, which I was unaware that it was, the special was a "prime" Rib for a good price if you get the package with the baked potato. Which is fine, but it may be on that day they use choice meat instead of prime to get a better margin for price and so they can sell more. That being said, I still ordered the full price prime rib, not the special. It still lacked in quality. Seemed very tough and full of connective tissue. Ordered medium rare. Alas it was Grisly. Which is indicative of lesser quality meat selection. Likely choice/select cuts, not true prime. I don't mind, but they are charging vegas quality restaurant prices but not in vegas. The quality needs to match. I don't understand the high reviews here because I gave this place 3 chances and this sadly was the third. I won't return ever again. You can get better quality if you just enjoy a drive to vegas. I thought it may have been a fluke but now I realize that is the norm there. There is some good but not worth a return. The asparagus and potatoes were cooked wonderfully. However, I don't go to a restaurant for their garnish dishes. I go for their proteins. We paid full price and I didn't bother to complain to the servers because it isn't their fault. I just won't come back.
