This is a hidden gem! Discovered via a meet up of moms. Large but not amazing dining area that is very open and peaceful. The plus for me was the selection of sides. - not fries or onion rings and you can taste them first. Just like my fav Greek place this one is also run by a family. BUT this is Mediterranean food!! My falafel was excellent and the same for the spinach salad. If you live in Sandy Springs or Roswell and haven't been here, you are missing out. We tried Samad because of the reviews we read on Yelp. The garlic sauce lived up to the hype and the rest of the food was awesome! Specifically, the sauce on our chicken wrap was to die for. Will be back for this. We weren't sure which salad to get with our entree and were offered a sampler plate from which to taste and choose. I can't remember any time I've ever been offered this at a restaurant. We had the falafel here...nice crunchy falafel wrapped in pita bread with some veggies. These had more flavour and texture than the falafel wraps that I had been getting at Aladdin down the street. Was hoping it would be a bit more spicy, though...maybe that has something to do with sauces/side items. Nice friendly service...they even gave our daughter a lollipop ! "Appearances are often deceptive" keep this in mind when you are entering the mall. If you are looking for a fine dining experience then this is not the place but if you are looking for a casual laid back place with great food this is the place. I had Iftar buffet here and it was great. The environment is casual and the owner is very nice. You enter and have your food and pay later on. After leaving this place I had a feeling that owner had shared his home food and as customer you come to his place, share food, enjoy yourself and pay. This place is great. The salads on display are excellent -- the baby kale, chickpeas and tabouli are all solid options. We tried the kefta, chicken kabob and shawarma and all were tasty. The little one adored the kefta, and while I'm normally not a big fan of shawarma, this was fantastic. The hummus is a bit bland for my taste but everything else was an A+. read more

Absolutely love this place! This has become a go-to dinner place for my husband and I. It's a small half grocery store, half restaurant. I recommend taking your food to go, as it's a small place. They are so friendly, super fast with the food (max 15mins). Everything we've tried so far has been so delicious! The platters are our favorites because you get the tabouleh salad and other goodies. I think it's easy to say that this is one of the better Mediterranean places in Atlanta! Way way way better than that terrible place nearby called Aladdin. You must try this place! read more

This place has all the great hallmarks of those amazing and rare to find "hole in the walls" where super friendly people serve amazingly good and healthy food at reasonable prices. It looks uninviting outside, is clearly some random melding of previous businesses/shops inside, and has no frills or luxuries. It doesn't need any of them. My wife and I stopped in for lunch today. I had a simple gyro plate, my wife the 3 salad entree. I opted for the pickled veggies as my side with fries and was not disappointed. The cauliflower in particular popped something tart at the end that was delicious. They served my Gyro with whipped garlic and a healthy warning. If you love garlic, this is amazing. Yummy halal goodness in an unexpected place. I shared the Mo Meat platter with my sister and had a side of baba ghanoush. The baba ghanoush was amazing and had a slight smoky flavor, which was perfect. The meat platter came with gyro meat, some chicken, some kind of kabob, hummus, and rice with lentils. This place is in our normal rotation. The couple that runs it is very friendly. It's an open kitchen concept where you can see your meal prepared. He will help you decide on the best right salad to choose for with your meal (oh they have a good size pre-made salads). Best med food we have found in the Atlanta area. The noum is potent but smooth. Overall simple food at its best. I had the gyro and Jo had the chicken kabobs, fatoush, pan roasted cauliflower, and Lebanese lemon garlic potatoes. They also have a nice selection of market olives, oil, etc. And the fries are cooked to perfection. Highly recommend. Nice folks, great food. Jamal is great. Food is righteous. Been eating Jamal's food since it was Dalia's over a decade ago. You can't beat this place. Do me a favor though order something other than the gyro and fries. The salads are excellent pairings, and I recommend mixing them up a little. The cabbage salad pairs nicely with the chickpeas. Even their fries are decent, and really good with the "garlic sauce" which is garlic, oil and lemon juice - be careful! Plan on smelling of garlic after you eat there!
