I tried to turn the heat on yesterday morning (the coldest day of the year so far) but nothing happened. I initially thought the house needed time to "warm up". 24 hours later, the temp in the house had not changed, my Nest was at 56 on Stage 2 Heating. I called 9 HVAC service companies, Same Day Air Conditioning and Heating was the only one available to come out the same day! I received a text letting me know Sanad was on the way. Sanad was very friendly and knowledgeable; he diagnosed the problem quickly, dead motherboard. He didn't have the part in his van, but drove for an hour to pick it up and came back. Pricing was not the cheapest, but I am now sitting in a toasty home vs an ice box, thank you Sanad! Two thumbs up! read more

We love this company. Our home Insurance company uses them exclusively. We had a very difficult Air Condition issue. The company sent Joanna to come out and try to figure it out. She arrived on time, called way before her arrival, and was the most nicest professional I have ever dealt with. She went out of her way to figure the issue out. She gave us her personal cell number, just in case we continued to have issues. Professional and friendly service technician. Hamadah was my tech. He texted me to inform me he was on his way to my house. He inspected my HVAC unit, filter, and vents. He was honest and candid stating the last company that cleaned my air ducts did a good job. Hamadah did not see any debris or black/gray dust particles lining the ducts. My vents were clean and he could tell I replaced my filter every 6 months. I deferred the duct cleaning after his recommendation for me to wait 6 months since my ducts were clean. I am waiting to receive the quote for the price of cleaning the ducts. However, he showed me the quote before he left and the price seemed reasonable. read more

Better not post an accurate review because they will write fake ones about your company. My brand new unit took Same Day Air, 4 service calls due to errors and could have burned my house down. Over filled refrigeratorent, took 2 techs after install. Then we smelled burning smell and called, 3 days later found they wired our new AC to a new heater? Then when I posted the accurate review, they went on and wrote fake reviews on my company with same user name and IP address. Now his response after I caught him, calling me racist, anti women and something about disabilities. #1 I didn't deal with any of thier employees, as he Saud my husband did so I have no idea what races anyone is. #2 I am a woman, so certainly can't be anti woman and #3 Disabilities, I donate my time to people with disabilities. The staff that sends the reports out to the home warranty companies does not write accurate reports. Plus, there seems to be a disconnect between their tech as to what their company can do versus what the staff is communicating with home warranty company. There are more details to my experience in dealing with communication aspects with this company. Not to mention the lack of their patience in talking to customers, not taking the time to listen to what the customer has to say. Horrible service. No communication. No one pick up phone. Refuse to do simple thermostat change while recommended to change while promise to get back within 2 days. No one ever got back until contacted back. Read your reply which is absolutely not correct. Guy who came in said he will order and thermostat will be in within 2 days. Position you are taking was not communicated at all. No one notified at the time of diagnosis. My insurance is covering but your company is saying they do not have thermostat. Incorrect Reply: At the time of diagnosis we notified you that your home warranty does not cover it and we will submit a report to see if they can supply or there's any coverages. We also recommended that you call train and have them supply the thermostat we informed you that your home warranty will contact you in two days, or you can contact your home warranty within two days for status of your claim. read more

I had a great experience with them. My technician Moe called me 30 minutes ahead of time to give me a heads up on when he would arrive. He showed up on time and was quick to diagnose the problem and get to work. He fixed it within 30 minutes and was on his way. This is the second year I have had an interaction with this company through my home warranty company. Both my upstairs and downstairs a/c units where blowing hot air. Last week Sam M came and was able to fix the upstairs. But could not fix the downstairs. He scheduled for today and today Andre came out and fixed our downstairs problem. Wow. I called 9am in the morning to fix the broken air conditioning. By 11:30am Hashem already arrived. He was able to diagnosed the problem right away and changed the fuse as well as capacitor. It was looking a bit dirty so I asked him whether I can clean it. He also took care of that. All of these are done under 25mins. I am a repeat customer. The first time was great. We called them again for a different issue the second time. The technician came a day late, but we decided to be understanding since it was the day before a holiday. When he came, he did a quick assessment, and said he would come back the next day with some equipment. We followed up the next day to find out what time he will be coming, but he has not returned our messages. We have been following up, but it seems like the work order has already been closed. The technician who came and repaired our system seemed to do a good job and we are satisfied that our A/C is now working. However, we have been requesting repair since the end of May (3 months ago) with our home warranty company. We do not know what caused the delay. The insurance company kept saying that Same Day Air was unresponsive to their requests. A Same Day Air technician came out in early June and stated that the system may not be repairable after spending 5 minutes looking at it. That was the last contact since this past week (last week of August) in spite of the fact that we were frequently calling our insurance company. read more

Not responsive. We booked an appointment at 8 am - 12 am at 07/12 Tuesday at Santa Clara to upgrade our HVAC, and so far their representative have not showed up yet. And nobody updated us if the appointment should be kept or canceled. We called their customer service and left voice mails at two different numbers provided by them and no one picked the phone up. The installation team was on time and knew what they were doing. Very professional. Ray Porter was the lead and it was obvious he has years of experience. Juan, the second team member, was a workhorse, doing the laborious task of detaching the ducting from the old furnace and reattached and sealing the ducting to the new one. They efficiently removed the defective furnace and installed the replacement furnace while working in tight quarters to get the old unit out and the new unit in. Well done. The new furnace is operating as expected. Nate, the sales representative, helped me select the best unit for my environment given the existing unit and the urgency. These folks literally came the same day and fixed my heating system. I can vouch for their service, if your hvac is not working just hire them and relax. My heating unit was giving me problems, some repair person came and replaced a small part and was asking for 1000 dollars, he left the heating broken, another guy came and suggested we just replace the whole heating unit.
