I called 9 HVAC service companies, Same Day Air Conditioning and Heating was the only one available to come out the same day! I received a text letting me know Sanad was on the way. Sanad was very friendly and knowledgeable; he diagnosed the problem quickly, dead motherboard. He didn't have the part in his van, but drove for an hour to pick it up and came back. Horrible service. No communication. No one pick up phone. Refuse to do simple thermostat change while recommended to change while promise to get back within 2 days. No one ever got back until contacted back. Read your reply which is absolutely not correct. Guy who came in said he will order and thermostat will be in within 2 days. Position you are taking was not communicated at all. No one notified at the time of diagnosis. My insurance is covering but your company is saying they do not have thermostat. Incorrect Reply: At the time of diagnosis we notified you that your home warranty does not cover it and we will submit a report to see if they can supply or there's any coverages. We also recommended that you call train and have them supply the thermostat we informed you that your home warranty will contact you in two days, or you can contact your home warranty within two days for status of your claim. read more

Professional and friendly service technician. Hamadah was my tech. He texted me to inform me he was on his way to my house. He inspected my HVAC unit, filter, and vents. He was honest and candid stating the last company that cleaned my air ducts did a good job. Hamadah did not see any debris or black/gray dust particles lining the ducts. My vents were clean and he could tell I replaced my filter every 6 months. I deferred the duct cleaning after his recommendation for me to wait 6 months since my ducts were clean. I am waiting to receive the quote for the price of cleaning the ducts. However, he showed me the quote before he left and the price seemed reasonable. read more

We love this company. Our home Insurance company uses them exclusively. We had a very difficult Air Condition issue. The company sent Joanna to come out and try to figure it out. She arrived on time, called way before her arrival, and was the most nicest professional I have ever dealt with. She went out of her way to figure the issue out. She gave us her personal cell number, just in case we continued to have issues. I had a great experience with them. My technician Moe called me 30 minutes ahead of time to give me a heads up on when he would arrive. He showed up on time and was quick to diagnose the problem and get to work. He fixed it within 30 minutes and was on his way. The technician who came and repaired our system seemed to do a good job and we are satisfied that our A/C is now working. However, we have been requesting repair since the end of May (3 months ago) with our home warranty company. We do not know what caused the delay. The insurance company kept saying that Same Day Air was unresponsive to their requests. A Same Day Air technician came out in early June and stated that the system may not be repairable after spending 5 minutes looking at it. That was the last contact since this past week (last week of August) in spite of the fact that we were frequently calling our insurance company. read more

This is the second year I have had an interaction with this company through my home warranty company. Both my upstairs and downstairs a/c units where blowing hot air. Not responsive. We booked an appointment at 8 am - 12 am at 07/12 Tuesday at Santa Clara to upgrade our HVAC, and so far their representative have not showed up yet. And nobody updated us if the appointment should be kept or canceled. We called their customer service and left voice mails at two different numbers provided by them and no one picked the phone up. Updated: They came over and took the day to install our new HVAC. The technicians were responsible and helped us to install a new thermostat as well.
