The gyro pita is SO GOOD. 10/10 Roasted veggies also fire. Honestly that's all there is to say. All my friends love it here. Food is delicious, comes out quickly, and there's indoor & outdoor seating. Oh and Rita Ice is right next door!

Good luck finding a parking spot out, depending on the day and time. But there is a garage to park in. When I walked in it's pretty quaint and cute. I noticed the sell certain beers which I was not aware off. The atmosphere was calm and quiet and very clean. They were patient as I browsed the menu deciding what I would get. I ordered the chicken skewer w/ roasted potatoes and French fries. I tried to switch to a salad for one of my sides. But my meal was already put together. They were very sweet about it though. The fries were hot and salted. I do wish they were either fried longer or fried twice. They were a little too soft for my liking. I like my fries much much crispier but they were decent overall. The chicken skewer was seasoned and I loved the grilled taste! Paired with the tzatziki sauce, so good!! The pita was soft and good as well. As I was eating I realized I've ate here before because the roasted potato chunks are big but I didn't like them. This time I tried them they were very seasoned, soft and buttery, and flavorful. I definitely liked them much better this time around. I think I'll try them again but I'm in no rush . You should see for yourself how you like the food.

WOW this is some good Greek food. The chicken pita wrap is by far the best thing I have eaten in a while. I added feta to it and it was the perfect combo of fresh tasting ingredients. I also LOVE how they wrap it with aluminum foil to make it easier to eat...make sure to keep it on while you eat. The chicken skewer was good but definitely wanted some side dipping sauce for it. As far as service, I walked in to order takeout and they had it ready in about 6 minutes which was impressive.

Great recipes. Loved the roasted potatoes; tastes like they slow cook them. Liked the island salad; lots of "junk" like diced apples. Enjoyed the tzatziki which is available with cucumber spears if youre GF.

I was told in a meeting that Samos is a go to spot. It was pretty bumping inside, filled tables, line, but everything was going by relatively quick including the food. Got 2 gyros, one lamb and one sliced gyro meat with some Greek fries. No complaints really. Just that the lamb was a little chewy, but I find that many restaurants don't fully know how to cook lamb. I would note that when it is busy it's hard to find a table and with that the tables don't really get cleaned up after each time it was used. Honestly it was really filling and kind of reminds me of big greek cafe. Will be back if I'm in the mood for Greek food!

This place is still a lunch time go to when I don't have my meal preps handy. The only notable change is the price. A greek salad with chicken, add extra chicken is a little overs $20. That's on the expensive side, but I justify it because I can split it in 2 for a light lunch and dinner. Calling in an order is still very easy and they have a nice informal space to eat if you choose to dine inside. They are super quick, quoting 5-10 minutes for a salad and no more than 20 for a more advanced order--- even during peak lunch times.

I ordered food to go from Samos and I have to say I did not really enjoy it. For the octopus, one tentacle was very tough while the other was tender. The Greek fries were OK and the platter was good. The rice had good flavor. The meat was kind of tough. The service was excellent and they have good seating options, including outdoor seating.

Gyro platter and lamb skewer platter. Both comes with 2 sides.

My husband and I wanted to grab a quick lunch and came across this place. It was nice and clean in the inside. Food was delicious and fresh. They give you a lot of food for the price. Seasoned well. Customer service was also wonderful. They were very accommodating and friendly. Would come back in a heart beat

Nice Greek fast food or sit down. Food was excellent. Order at the counter and sit and wait to be served. Easy place to bring family.

Samos offers some of the best Greek food and it's quick and affordable. My gyro was about $10 and came absolutely stuffed with gyro meat and toppings. I was pleasantly stuffed and happy afterwards. Oh ya, and their pita is fresh and buttery. Everything is awesome on the menu, come and check it out

May I kiss the chef?! This is take out done right! I have never had takeout that was just as delectable and fresh as in restaurant dining, but this is not just takeout quality good. This food is fine dining good, for take out prices! I've gone to fine restaurants whose lamb chops could never compete with theirs. I will certainly be adding this to my list of favorites. I got the lamb chops with roasted potatoes and octopus. Normally, roasted potatoes that are thick cut are pretty dry. These had been marinaded and are succulent and robustly flavorful! The octopus is also typically quite difficult to pull off. They did so effortlessly. It was perfectly textured, saporous, mmmmmmm...and then, the Lamb! Flame grilled, perhaps? Perfectly sapid, charred yet still delicately tender. My family got gyros and kebabs! They felt equally as satisfied with everything! This is Greek food done right! And I ordered via Uber eats. The initial order noted it may take 30 minutes. It only took 15! Where in the Greek Gods did I happen upon this lovely restaurant? Do yourself a favor and indulge.

While driving through Whetstone, I came across Samos and my salivatory glands just started up. I LOVE Greek food but you can't trust everyone's way of preparing it, right? I decided I'd give Samos a 'go' and saw there was a away to order via the mobile app. Cool. While effective, it could use a little tweaking. Suggestions: 1) Allow a space to add notes (fry hard, extra sauce, no blah blah blah). There's no space / section for that. 2) once the order is placed, it's very efficient showing u all steps to the transaction. What it's lacking is a projected 'ready by' time, so u know when to pick it up. It can sit on the counter waiting for an undetermined amount of time or you can get there and they haven't even started. I would think it's a simple 'add', but I'm no IT guy. On to the choices for this maiden run. Melitzanosalata: Roasted eggplant, garlic, lemon, olive oil. My 'fat boy' genes kicked in and I didn't realize it at the time but I had baba ghanoush in my head. I was ready for those (BG) flavors. This side dish was more on the sweet side than the earthy, garlicky, herbaceous palette I was expecting to be hit with, while experiencing baba ganoush. Ah well. That's my fault. I take full responsibility bc my head wasn't in the right space so I will say, if you are looking for a sweeter side to dip your pita bread and cucumbers, this is prob a good choice for you. Spanakopita: Spinach, feta, herbs, wrapped in filo and baked. This was a very generous serving. It was light, flaky, flavorful. I really enjoyed the spanakopita. SCORE!!! I would return. I will just pay more attention to the menu selections, next times around.

The calamari was perfectly breaded and crispy. The hummus had a great blend of garlic, parsley, a bit of cayenne and red chili flakes with lemon and paprika. All these ingredients make a plain hummus extra tasty. Our two main entrees consisted of the broiled Atlantic salmon with asparagus and Greek potatoes and the Yero plate containing rotisserie beef and lamb slices serviced over pita, with tzatziki, and salad. The salmon was impressively at the perfect temperature. I thoroughly enjoyed my entire meal. The Yero plate had the best slices of beef and lamb. They were soft and absolutely well prepared. Our dinner was accompanied with two musicians who played lovely traditional Greek songs. The music was not too loud and we were able to have a nice conversation at our table. Service was a tad slow towards the end of our meal. We were seated in the basement and there was a time when not a single server was on the floor. Water service was lacking and odd -- we waited quite some time for a refill and when someone did come, only one of us got the refill when we both needed water! Still, I loved the food and atmosphere. Parking: Plenty in the back of the restaurant.

Cons: The service was not great. They have lots of staff--someone to light the candles, someone to bring the water, someone to take our order, someone to bring out the appetizer, someone to bring out drinks, someone to bring out entrees, etc. But there was very little follow up along the way. Our waters never got filled again. Our server took our drink order right away, but took a long time to come back to take our food order. Despite that, we still got our drinks well after the appetizer came out. The next time we saw the server was when we were done eating. The food should have been better for the price as well. We shared the grilled halloumi cheese appetizer. The cheese was cold by the time it got to us, and the plate came with two small olives--just two. At that point, don't bother. I had the bronzini, which had a good flavor, but was mostly skin. There was very little fish attached to two filets. My wife had the scallops. The entree came with five or six (can't remember exactly) medium-sized scallops. My wife described them as "forgettable," with very little thought to presentation (some of the scallops were laying on their side on the plate. The asparagus was overcooked. Unfortunately we both left still kind of hungry, and definitely put off.

I had the LAVRAKI (BRANZINO) which was grilled with capers and oregano and my date wanted the snapper (LITHRINI (RED SNAPPER) , he loves snapper. Both dishes come with a choice of two sides which you can swap out. I chose the horta(field greens) and rice, my date chose the broccolini and roasted potatoes. To be honest the broccolini and roasted potatoes are your best bet. The horta was a tad bland for my liking and really need some seasoning. The rice was ok. For dessert we shared the baklava cheesecake. Soooo good. Baklava is my fave Greek dessert. They also have a nice cocktail and wine list. I plan on returning because they have a really nice happy hour with $1 oysters, $12 fish tacos and $7 espresso martini's, so that alone I am sold on.
