Sam's Pizza & More on Country Club Blvd in Stockton, California. This place is a trip, I came to find out about Sam's Pizza & More, from my daughter. I was heading to pick her up from Cosmetology school and treat her out to lunch. So she wanted either Fuzhou her favorite Chinese food spot or Sam's. So when we arrived and walked in I was amazed. I figured we were getting Pizza slices and such. I noticed they sell burgers, chicken strips and teriyaki bowls. My Princess ordered a $4.99 cheeseburger combo that comes with fires and a drink. The fries was a nice size amount and I took one bite of the burger and it tasted good. But that's after my daughter added ranch dressing and BBQ sauce to it. We were supposed to share $3.20 4x Chicken strips. But my daughter got full from her meal. So once again, I took one for the team and ate all of them. I'll say this the chicken strips are on hit here. I picked out the Teriyaki plate $4.75. The veggies were cooked they way I prefer. I love veggies nice and soft not hard. The rice is basic white rice, so don't expect some ancient family recipe handed down from generations. The chicken was very good especially when I poured teriyaki sauce all over it. I was reading their menu and I did noticed they sell $1.35 deep fried burritos here, yummy. Note: Refills are .50 cents for small and .75 cents for large. Note: No public restrooms Note: Limited parking in the front. There's a nail salon to the left and a laundry mat to the right. So it can get packed really quick. They do deliver here too, with a minimum order of $10 and a delivery fee of $2.50. My eldest Princess and I had a wonderful time here for lunch and that's all that matters to me. Doing what Dad's do, spending time with our kids. My three kids always comes first, everything else is a bonus in life. So when you're in the mood for some (s) $2 shaved ice with some $5.95 fish & chips and $6.99 hot & spicy wings. Give Sam's Pizza & More a try. You'll definitely find something for everyone. Yeah I'll be back very soon. Vincent D *VD* Enjoying the simple things in life.

shaved ice, Strawberry Smoothie, cheese medium pizza, and Double Teriyaki Chicken Rice Bowl

Great food, nice staff, and clean inside. The food is seriously good here. Got a chicken teriyaki rice bowl with extra chicken, a medium cheese pizza with garlic sauce, a strawberry smoothie, and a rainbow shaved ice. All was only $25. I would highly recommend.

Pizza tasted a little flat but it wasn't bad.

Some plates were worth it, others weren't, and at the prices they're charging the gaps were hard to ignore. The appetizers were the highlight of the meal. The deviled eggs were a hit at the table and went fast. The jalapeño on each one was a nice touch, though the heat varied depending on which egg you grabbed since it was just a thin slice. The salmon cakes were solid, nothing to complain about. My mom's ceviche tostada was loaded, the avocado was generous and fresh, but the ceviche itself lacked the acidity you expect from the dish and had very little shrimp in it. She said it felt more like a lunch item than a dinner offering, though two of them were filling. My mom's friend had the steak frites, which was the standout plate of the night: a lean cut with a rich mushroom béchamel, well cooked, and the frites were fried rather than what you might expect, but the flavor delivered. My dad's spinach salad was underwhelming, overdressed with a balsamic that was too sharp and overpowered everything else. My ribeye was the disappointment. At $65 I expected better. It was thin, closer to pounded than what you'd expect from the cut, came out medium instead of medium rare, and didn't feel substantial for the price. The baked potato was a basic side, sour cream and onion, nothing more. The broccolini arrived at room temperature, borderline cold, which was unexpected. The au jus on the side didn't add much for me. Service was attentive but veered into overdone territory, the kind of performative politeness that signals they want a good tip more than they're genuinely being warm. It was noticeable. Also worth knowing: if you're seated near the windows, the afternoon sun can be blinding depending on when you go. The atmosphere is genuinely nice and this place works better as a brunch spot than a special occasion dinner destination. I've had better meals here before, which is why I know they can do better. One practical note: if you're parking in the disabled spots near the leasing center next door, the sidewalk doesn't connect to the restaurant entrance. You'll need to go through the parking lot to get there.

Up front, I wanted to express why I'm giving this review a 5-star rating. It was entirely because of the Manager Betsy and of course the flavor of these ribs we had. I don't want to put this restaurant down or nit-pick the issues both my sister and I had. I wouldn't think that would be right of me and to the restaurant. Let's just say, we had issues and Betsy, God bless her, she took care of business and made everything right and even went beyond what we expected. Personal service is foremost what's important at any eating establishment, along with the quality of the food. The ribs and pesto pasta was to die for, and that's why I keep coming back. The three serves that were there attending to us, need better training. The food is always great and I will go back.

We ordered the chicken and rib combo, the ribs were just ok but the chicken was dry. For the price overall, we expected much more. I can't say that it left a good lasting impression on us. Our waitress gave us a couple of extra ribs in our to go containers. That was very kind of her. Unfortunately, we won't be dining here again.

Security will comstantly hit on your drunk friends and no one stops them, this is even when the women are clearly not interested. It is extremely uncomfortable. The music is awful, you have to make the best of it. But after going there for a couple months the music is simply catered to a white and latin crowd. I do not hear anything current or relevant when I am there. Me and my gf usually go there because its close and thats it. We are usually the only ones that truly dance and are the reason alot of folks said they enjoyed their time (even though they agree the music and atmosphere sucks- it looks like NY ). We have never got offered free drinks or anything complimentary for attracting a crowd or bringing friends. Everywhere else, this is usual when attracting customers for a bar. Too much staff... It is not POC friendly. I have heard almost everyone I know complain about the demographics and the bad music. I also see alot of DL men hovering by the bar in bulk so I am guessing it may be catered to them they tend to by the most drinks. I have had many friends there make the same statement. Overall, just leave this one alone and go to Islanders. More POC, more diversity in staff, no awkward fake moments with the Owner (who is as uptight as they come), and more fun people. You will likely leave aftera couple drinks.... Thats what they want. They scam and play a couple fo songs so you buy buy buy and leave without dancing or if you do its to 50 cent and Lil John like you in 8th grade Bad business.... Trust me. I dance all the time. I try to be nice to the DJs because I can't tell if their fault or the owners either way. I won't go unless I am desperate. Unfortunately, this business doesn't keep up with the times. No stars from me. Staff is creepy. If you are a drunk woman stay tf away because the bartender or security will get at you and keep bothering you all night.
