Bacon, eggs, home fries, and toast

I was on my way to my office and went to stop at this place that I remembered as being a donut shop, but it has clearly changed hands over the years. The sign out front says Bella's but inside the menu says Sam's. It is right on the corner of school Street next to St. John's church. The place is somewhat small, but has about six tables and maybe about eight stools at the counter Service was quick coffee was served in a diner type mug and was very fresh and hot I ordered two fried eggs, bacon, home fries, and wheat toast Prices were about the same as most other places which these days tends to be expensive due to food costs. The eggs were cooked perfectly. They were a ton of well fried home fries. The bacon was crisp, and the toast was thick. Coffee was kept refilled as necessary. The waitress and who I believed to be the owner, were both very friendly. The place seem to be busy with food delivery orders, but on this rainy holiday week morning there weren't a lot of other customers. I will definitely keep this in mind when looking for a breakfast place in the area

Great service with quickly delivered food that was tasty. Loved the plants and window jewelry which were all available for purchase. The menu has many items, like any good diner does and the atmosphere was light and airy with big windows.

Sam Special is great!! 3 Eggs and the works! Should of taken picture before indulged!

This is a hidden gem! The service was spot on. The food was hot and tasty! The place is so clean and environment is comfortable! Dont miss it

Absolutely disgusted, halfway through one of my egg Benedict's when I saw something which I thought it was a string of cheese when it's pulled really thin but realized there was no cheese on this order. Upon closer look I was DISGUSTED to realize it was a VERY LONG blonde hair, absolutely disgusting. BESIDES the hair there was also no salt in the food and it was very bland. Stay FAR AWAY from this place

I was craving breakfast food and Sam's was down the street, so I decided to try it. I originally wanted steak and eggs but they were all out of steak for the day, so I elected to get the corned beef hash. The waitress recommended it, gave me the ingredients and was super kind. The food took less than ten minutes, and it tasted great! The eggs tasted fresh, the corned beef hash was surprisingly yummy despite being from a can, the toast was not dry or burnt, and the home fries were phenomenal. The waitress was extremely nice, and I would recommend Sam's just based off of her customer service. The prices, portion sizes and atmosphere are great! They will be seeing me more often.

Came here from a recommendation of a client. Said is was good and cheap. Walked over nice little place and friendly people. 10.99 for omelette and bacon seemed fine to me. Tasty I ordered the kitchen sink omelette. I'll be back for sure.

Good enough. The waitresses don't exude warmth and the place gets overwhelmed when Mass lets out. Claustrophobic like many breakfast places. Food is what you would expect, no complaints.

My burnt to a crisp disgusting bagel. With no cream cheese since they couldn't add that to the bag and it's really hard to follow direction.

French toast with no syrup, a grilled bagel burnt beyond being edible, with no cream cheese, cold home fries and sent me a hot chocolate instead of chocolate milk. Then to top it all off, the miserable wildabeast that answered the phone. Glad she started yelling at me on the phone. Wrong person to screw with dumbdumb. You're supposed to be a manager. Don't ever speak to a customer, who order you just crapped down your leg like they did something wrong.

Decent little breakfast place in Quincy center. Small. But if you live in the center it's convenient

4.5/5 but rounding up to a 5…read more Came by on the weekend right before 11am and all of the seats were available. We ordered 3 items and absolutely loved 2 out of 3. The first item we tried was the HK French Toast Lava Egg Yolk which tbh is always a winner for my husband and I no matter where we get it. The second item we tried was the Cha Siu Bolo Bao. I'm usually not a big cha siu person so it was just okay for me. The bolo bao is also not quite what I expected, it has a different texture to it than most bolo baos. Overall not bad but just not for me. The last item was the salt pepper chicken with rice which we didn't expect much from but loved. The chicken has a nice crunch but also juicy. The seasoning used is also delicious. All in all a delicious meal and we will definitely be back! I'd skip the bolo bao next time though.

Trying Hong Kong cafe for the first time. I was overwhelmed by the menu on the wall so I asked for…read morerecommendations by the woman taking the orders. She recommended the fried chicken Bolo. I got shrimp steam rolls, Chinese donuts, ovaltine French toast, ice coffee, hot soy milk and cold soy milk. The fried chicken bolo was interesting. She told me it was the most popular item on the menu. I personally don't understand why. It is fried chicken with a slaw and on a bun with some sort of crumble on top. I was not impressed. The Chinese donuts were cold and old tasting; I was super disappointed. The shrimp steam rolls were very delicious! The ovaltine French toast is sweet. It has ovaltine powder on it and it's covered with sweetened condensed milk. It is tasty, sweet and a bit messy to eat but I enjoyed it. Iced coffee was strong. Iced soy milk is preferred over hot soy milk but that is just personal preference and it was over 90 degrees outside. It is a small cafe with limited seating at the window. The menu is on the wall. You order and when it's done they call your number. It is NOT ADA friendly. You have to climb stairs to get in. It was quite difficult for me as I was using my cane. This was my first Hong Kong style fast food cafe created by Chopped Champion and James Beard semifinalist Chef Laurence Louie and Rary Ratsifa. After going to another Hong Kong cafe nearby, and having something to compare this to, I would not return to this establishment as I think there are better Hong Style cafes with better food and ADA friendliness establishments.
