I've noticed that some nights it's really crowded and other nights you will only see 3 other people in the bar. And I'm not talking the difference between a weekday and a weekend, both times I've been here were on the weekend. The first time was awesome. Lots of people, karaoke in the back, awkward sightings of former middle school teachers flirting with students they taught years ago. And excellent trash cans (the drink) to get you through said awkwardness. The second time we ventured in there since it was walking distance from our friend's apartment. Completely deserted. Maybe the karaoke nights are just more popular and you should stick to those nights. Unless you like an empty bar. read more

From the moment you drive up to the huge neon sign entrance, you know this is not going to be your typical bar. Lots of different craft beer selections and many different fried food varieties. I had not been to Uncle Sam's Saloon since around 2003ish until recently now in 2021. My wife and I came in for Sunday and breakfast this past Sunday, 01/09/22. What a treat and what an incredible staff. We had the pleasure of being taken care of by Alley M. (Our Server and a Cool Chick!), Stephanie the Morning Manager, Brayde and Amber. All so very attentive and nice! The food/ breakfast was fantastic and their prices ae so affordable for the crazy amount of food you get. Plenty of TV screens and pull-tabs! The greatest aspects of this bar are the ample parking and the huuuuge amount of TVs. However, I have not had particularly good luck with their food selection or variety of beers on tap. Regarding the latter, if you thrive on every plausible variety of Budweiser or Shock Top, this may very well be Nirvana for you. If you crave some snootier beer (ie: tastier), look elsewhere. My last experience was with the garlic chicken wings. Pretty gnarly. Looked terrible, smelled rough, and were greasy lil' regret-bombs. I do believe they have some gigantic nacho option if you need to feed an orphanage or breakfast if you like to drink before you shower. Positives: TVs! Parking! I've been patronizing this place many times to watch sporting events and eat some pretty good home cooked meals (breakfasts/lunches/dinners). Yet all the previous good times are simply tarnished with the experience from my last visit on Msrch 23, 2019. They promote themselves as a place to gather to watch "sports", dozens of flat screen TVs, yet that evening their on shift manager would not permit a TV to show a hockey game. At that moment in time, I would say the place was two thirds filled with guests. About 95% of the TVs were airing the current NCAA basketball game (which team? did it matter? not many there were cheering). It's a shame that business lost out on $40 tab, servers missed a $10 tip that night...but when I think about, the loss will be greater, I've signed up to watch NFL games/playoffs streaming at home. read more

Good descent beer selection but no premium German beers like St.Paulie Girl Does not have a *special food item that ultra hot sports bars like to have..only average food offerings. I ducked into this Kennewick watering hole one night to kill some time before a movie started. I had hoped to grab a beer with a friend, and we decided to go here and sit at the bar for a few minutes. Bad idea. You have to really work to get ONE star. I would have preferred to leave a 2 star review just to not seem like a jerk, but since I received absolutely NO service from the bored-looking bartender picking his nails behind the bar, (who glared at me when I waved at him and continued to pick his nails), nor the waitress who was helping everyone except me and my friend (between her mini-chats with the bartender), I could only rank this place based on getting ignored. The place was not slammed or terribly busy, so I'm not sure why we got the silent treatment. After sitting at the bar for about 20 minutes and getting NO service whatsovever (politely motioning to the bartender and trying to catch the waitress was to no avail), we decided to leave. Maybe the beer is good there--I wouldn't know, since none of the staff bothered to even ask me what I wanted. I have worked in food service before, and it's always a good idea to A) greet your customers/acknowledge their presence, and then B) ask them what they would like to order. It isn't rocket science. Maybe the staff felt secure enough in their jobs to not bother doing them. This was atrocious service, even for the Tri Cities, where bad service is often an art form... If you're looking for a place that is both devoid of class AND good service, by all means come waste some time here. You might get lucky and actually get someone to serve you. read more

Great place! Been going to Sams for the last 15 years or so. I'm glad to see some of the staff have stayed the duration Steph, Erin, Tash, and Mel are my favorites. It's like seeing an old friend when one of them is working. They always remember you. Some of the newer girls do a good job as well. Megan and Erica are very friendly, the rest don't have much personality but they seem to check on refills enough. They have some really good food specials. Cannot beat the beer selection and the glasses are always cold. Couldn't ask for much more. Keep doing what you're doing and taking care of your longtime staff, they are a staple at that place. read more

Remember misses gray, false accusations and slander are not legal. As I've said before, if you want to 86 me for not paying for a sandwich I didn't order that's fine. If you wanna ruff me up on the way out the door, thats fine to. But when I ask you to not say anything about me and my wife and I won't you and you continue to talk bad about us. Yesterday was the first time we visited here, and I'm sorry we haven't come sooner. Huge beer list, good selection of typical bar food with dinner specials every night, and plenty of TV's to watch just about every sporting event imaginable. Everything is very reasonably priced. The serving staff were very friendly and took the time to talk to us about the place for awhile. It's a little difficult to see from Gage, but once you find it you'll realize it's easy to get to. Open till 2:00am everyday. If you're looking for a fun place to watch a game or just have a bite and a brew, this is the place. read more

We have a table of like 8 people and waitress decided to clean the table with a small office type garbage can while people are still eat at our table. They'll remember your drinks, when you've had enough, and even call you cab before you realize you need one. Atmosphere.. It's a sports bar. Something like 44 screens. During football, it's packed, especially for 'Hawks games. Food... Forget that this is a bar. They have damn tasty food. They have delicious off-the-,menu specials... Fri/Sat they have Prime Rib roast cooked on a Traeger. So. Good. Wed/Thurs, they have Traeger grilled Ribeye steaks. Dang. You can even get a damn near 2-lb Porterhouse! It's a week-in-advance order, but man, is worth every second of the hour for that local Knudsen Farm steak. On the menu, still can't go wrong. Holy business... The chicken fried steak. This thing is served on two plates; steak and gravy on one, eggs and hash on the other. Is a meal. Drinks... Well. Hm. To be succinct, I've left here more times than I care to admit, in a cab called by my bartender. 30 or so taps, typical full bar, and even has a well stocked Scotch/Irish shelf. So, if you're looking to forget, they'll get it done. If you're looking for a pre-funk, no problem. Doesn't disappoint. it is what it is, and great at what it does. read more

Uncle Sams is located just behind the mall. It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I know it's a sports bar but the food is really good. Great selection of the usual pub fare but they also have fantastic salads! It is a great place to grab a quick lunch. One of favorite places to grab some drinks and food in Tri-Cities. We've seen the place full of people, and not so full of people on occasion...but we always have a great time. The servers are always smiling and moving about, but we ALWAYS receive fantastic (the best) service from Melissa and Erin. My husband likes to experiment with all the different beers they have on tap. He relies on the wisdom of Melissa and Erin to 'bring him something he may like' - we tend to hang around longer (drink/eat) when Melissa and Erin are on duty.
