This place is the absolute best. We discovered them while restaurants were shut down and I would eat their food take out any day over sitting for a live hibachi meal - it's that good. We've tried almost every protein by now but the filet is our favorite, it's cooked perfect every time and so tender. The ginger dressing on their salad is the best I've ever had. We typically get a side of shrimp to add to ours as well - again, even take out it's perfectly cooked and so delicious. The garlic noodles are also unbelievable. If you like hibachi, you must eat here! read more

Wow! We were so impressed! Everything was amazing! The salad and dressing was so tasty! The soup was broth based with a little bit of elbow macaroni and other tasty ingredients-our kids loved it! The hibachi meals we tried were chicken, tuna and steak. The meals come with fried rice, noodles, veggies and choice of salad or soup. So delish! We ordered six dinners for take-out for our family holiday celebration. Everything was ready for pick up right on time. The food was delicious, the hibachi flavors were excellent. We had a variety of meals, steak, chicken, scallops and shrimp and all were cooked to order. The yum yum sauce is wonderful, just the right amount of flavor. Salads were all fresh, crisp, with their signature homemade dressing. We all agreed we can't wait to order from here for our next gathering! read more

I placed an order for a steak and rice meal and she said it would be 45 minuets. I said okay, and arrived about an hour after she said it would be 45 minuets. I get inside and they tell me it'll be another 20 minuets. I was upset but I'm like whatever their food on the website looked good. I come back after that 20 minuets and as I was still waiting for my food, others who also placed orders were standing inside waiting as well. One of the customers was a door dasher and he stepped aside to use the bathroom. He comes out and says" there's a big a$$ roach in the bathroom, you can put a saddle on it." Of course after this I didn't even want to eat the food that I still hadn't got yet, but I PAID AS SOON AS I STEP FOOT IN THE RESTURANT. They damn near asked for my card before asking what's my name for the order I placed. I realized then that they are shady. The door dasher then told the ladies up front that there was a roach in the bathroom and they looked at him, laughed/smirked, and said "we will let the back know". I almost lost it. It was giving she knew the roach and its family was there but they ain give AF. I was so disgusted and I knew they wouldn't give me a refund and I didn't even bother. I was checking my food the rest of the night for roach eggs and ended up throwing it away cuz I was too scared to eat it. $20 down the drain for sum weak ass rough non tender steak. They have roaches in there DO NOT EAT HERE. THEY WANT YOUR MONEY THATS IT. read more

This is a favorite go-to spot for my family when ordering out. Though we enjoy the show at a traditional Japanese steakhouse, we enjoy the food even more so Samurai Express is exactly what we want. We stopped here with our kids who are notoriously picky eaters. We almost left because I was sure my kids wouldn't eat. I am soooooo glad we didn't. The food was amazing! I picked up a dinner of 6 oz. Filet which was perfectly prepared and tender. It was served on a bed of luscious noodles. Accompanying it was a fried rice with vegetables and yum yum sauce. Also included was a dinner salad, fresh and tasty. This is one of the best meals I've had at a Japanese restaurant. Since I live a short distance away, this will be a much needed change from the usual steak meals at Applebee's, outback and Texas Road House! Hurrah for our new neighborhood restaurant!!! read more

So good. It's like the hibachi Japanese restaurants without all the extra flare and tastes better in my opinion. With this said, your order might take 25-30 min to be done but it's worth the wait. We had the chicken and steak, I think I'll do the filet next time. Chicken was good. Their rice is AMAZING. AMAZING. The salad dressing I swear I could drink it, it's that good. The noodles: bomb. My go to spot for great food at half the price of any other hibachi place. The portions are good sizes and I often have enough left for lunch or a snack the next day. The rice and meat were great, but I wasn't a fan of the noodles. Seems like smallish portions, but it really isn't. Super filling!! If you're considering it, just do it! read more
