Walked in at noon on a whim, which is how i like to do it (dining out 4-5 times each week). Seated right away, server appeared instantly, took drink order of raspberry tea which had no taste and i got it replaced with plain iced tea which i sugared myself. Wanted one of the lunch specials but all four were salad or sandwich in nature So it took a while to decide on COwboy Pork Chop with broccoli, added a side salad and server offered bread. Couple behind me who came in AFTER me was taken care of first and was offered cinnamon butter for their bread. I got no such offer but would have LOVED SOME. Server very attentive. Salad served first, nicely presented and very tasty with the very best dressing i ever had (asked server to choose since i usually dont care). It was a vinaigrette of some sort but SUPER SUPER TASTY. finished the salad entirely it was so great. About the time i was nearly done with salad, my pork chop and broccoli showed up. A great sear on the chop (both sides), very juicy, done well, lean, tasty. There was enuff broccoli to call this double broccoli but using my diabetics, it was exactly what i could ask for. Server checked on me at least twice more. Offered iced tea refill, offered more butter for remaining bread, offered dessert which i declined, then she said would you like small box. This server was OUTSTANDING so ask for Megan K if you go to this location. She just looked at me upon my arrival and psychically knew all I would want when each time came near. She was pleasant enough, smiled a LOT, friendly but not overly. Did her job as i believe a server should. So outside of no cinnamon butter, this visit was a delicious, delectable, dining extravaganza for a reasonable price of $23.00'ish. It did not disappoint one of the reasons that we use Longhorn for our takeout parties is it allows us to make two different orders, one around noon, and then one around three for the late eaters. I recently dined at Longhorn Steakhouse in strongsville, and it was the worst dining experience I've ever had. The food quality was shockingly poor--completely unacceptable for any restaurant. To make matters worse, I noticed a COCKROACH running along the baseboards, which left me disgusted. The kitchen manager was mouthy, unhelpful, and rude, offering appallingly bad service. Their behavior convinced me never to return to this establishment. Avoid this place if you value cleanliness, quality, and respectful service. I'm not gonna go into detail about what I found in my food. I personally believe the kitchen manager is not suited for her position and should be removed and replaced with someone who is capable of doing the job. I am not big on steakhouses but I'm glad I went. The lighting inside is a little dim. The food was amazing! Especially the appetizers. The firecracker chicken wraps tasted a lot better than I expected, delicious! So were the cheese stuffed mushrooms. They were topped with Parmesan, crusted...just cheesy goodness. The bread was hot, soft, & fresh. The Parmesan crusted chicken was very good as well. The ribs were ok. The meat fell off the bones but was a little hard on the edges. The Caesar salad was great. We ordered online and when we arrived at Longhorn a masked staff member asked for our name then got the order. We were in-and-our in two minutes. The parking lot was coned off to funnel you to the right spot. The food was solid fare, the same as one might expect. We decided we needed some protein so we visited this restaurant. My husband wanted steak afterwards decided on shrimp. I asked her not get both. Surf & Turf wasn't on the menu. Just ask. My husband enjoyed the food although a little salty. As for me I had the baked potato with bacon, butter and sour cream on the side. The reason I ordered the potato instead of the steak? I tend to avoid chains, but sometimes you want to go to a place for a specific item. For me, it's chicken tenders. Yeah, I know it's a steak place..don't get me wrong, this place has great steaks! But once I discovered these amazing chicken tenders, I never looked back. The breading they put on these things are delicious and the honey mustard sauce leans toward the Dijon end of the sauce spectrum and is quite possibly my favorite honey mustard..anywhere. They also have Brussels sprouts as a side and allow me to get my greens in while I'm eating "unhealthy" things. Win win. Yeah, I dig this place and you will too. read more

This was one of the last to succumb to the post pandemic price increases, while changing menu items to cheaper and less quality food selections. It's a shame that a 6 pc. Chicken Tender dinner is now almost $16.00 a plate. It just doesn't taste like it did just two months ago, they must've changed brand or supplier. I can't eat red meat like I used to, so this was a nice option, but I can get chicken tenders just about anywhere for much less. Used call ahead seating. Waited in a line of 5 once I got to the restaurant to check in. And got seated right away. I recommend the call ahead seating feature. My guests ordered soda. I ordered an old fashioned. It took the server 3 more visits before he delivered the drink. The second visit we made jokes about how long it was taking. And he said he was looking into the bar area and it still wasn't up yet. That's not his fault the bar was slow. My drink arrived when I got my side salad with french dressing. Lettuce, onion, cucumber, cheese and croutons. Pretty standard fare for a chain. It was ok. I got the 11 oz Renegade Sirloin steak with steamed veggies and an order of mushrooms on the side. My steak arrived and was pretty thin. I had to ask for the mushrooms as they didn't arrive. A few minutes later those showed up. Once I tried my steak the first bite was completely gray in color and dry. The next bite was the same. So I sent it back. I rarely send back steak. But if I'm paying $18.99 for a steak I don't want to eat a gray, dry piece of meat. I got my steak once my guests were done with dinner. The nice person who delivered my steak apologized and said they would take care of my steak. She felt bad my guests were finished when I got my new steak. My guests got dessert to eat while I ate my dinner. The restaurant picked up their desserts as well. I have 2 problems with my steak. 1. The steak that first came out looked nothing like the second steak that came out. I took a picture of the 2nd steak. I wish I had taken a picture of the first for reference and I didn't. It was less than an inch thick and when the one that came out 2nd was over an inch or so thick. Why the inconsistency? 2. I don't mind paying for my meal if you make it right. I'm not going to argue about paying vs. not paying. In my opinion, if you make it right and bring me a replacement that is what I order I don't mind paying for it. You made it right and didn't make me pay. That doesn't make sense to me. The second steak was a little chewy. That's what I expect for a choice grade sirloin. Was juicy. And the flavor was what I expected as well for a choice cut sirloin. Average. Nothing special. This is after all why I came to Long Horn. Service here was hit or miss. The misses were the extreme long wait time for a drink from the bar. The mushrooms were a miss twice. I had to ask for them when they didn't come to the table. And by the time my second steak came out my mushrooms were very cold. So I got to eat cold mushrooms with my steak. The steamed veggies were crisp tender on my first plate. Overcooked on the second plate. Again, inconsistency. Overall, it was all just ok. I usually go here when everyone else in my group wants to go here. I don't see that changing. read more

I live about 10 mins away from the Mentor location, but we were celebrating my stepson's birthday and decided to pick this location since it's closest to my in-law's. I called the day prior to find out about call ahead seating for a party of 9 since the website only allows call ahead for parties of 4 or less. Fast forward to the day of and I called a little after 3pm when I was told to call by the girl who answered the phone the night before. When I called, I was sent over to the manager, Shawn, who was so Incredibly rude, it amazes me he manages for living. I was trying to explain what the girl from the night before told me when he interrupted me to tell me that they don't take reservations and he would have to find out who told me that since they don't do that. He kept repeating that it was first come, first serve. At the Mentor location, we have called ahead plenty of times for a larger party (of 10 or less) and they've always done what they can to accommodate us. Honestly, I wouldn't have been so upset if Shawn wasn't as rude and condescending as he was. We're customers. Trying to bring you business and boost the economy. Customers do not need to be spoken to that way. I ended up calling Outback, who gladly took our party and assisted us with getting a table, where we happily spent our hard earned money. read more

Decent location if you wanna avoid the mall furball on weekends, I recommend going late afternoon and avoid dinner rush. Staff is nice facility is clean and food is yummy. But I prefer the Westgate location in Fairview Park since I live around the corner Must add a note that the server we had tonight spilled a glass of water all over a nice elderly couple at the table behind us, took her a few minutes to clean it up, I felt bad for the nice people who's dinner was interrupted by her clumsiness.
