I stumbled on to this place via Yelp delivery reviews. I was offended that there was a Thai restaurant close to me that I wasn't aware of. I was very skeptical yet intrigued that this place was also a gas station (but I don't recall any gas pumps), a corner store (equipped with beer varying from malt liquor to Miller lite and cigarelloes (sp) packages and lottery tickets), AND a diner ( that has burgers, hot dogs , wings and Thai food)... yep.... you read right Thai food. The diner.... old but very clean, so was the seating area. A nice (non Thai) lady greeted us and asked us what we would like to order. Because it was burgers, wings AND Thai, I politely asked if they still served Thai and she politely responded yes. So since Yelp trusted them, I figured I would too. We ordered a cheeseburger and fries seasoned, a pork egg roll, a handmade egg roll and Pad Thai. The food came out pretty quickly, and as my food was cooking, I could smell the aroma of Thai food, my nervousness went away and was replaced by the thought of, who woulda thunk... the food came out. The cheeseburger was just a cheeseburger. Better than McDonald's but certainly not Red Robin's. However the fries, seasoned as recommended by the (Non Thai) lady were very good. The Pad Thai came out on a real plate and real utensils and looked and smelled like real Pad Thai, so I had to ask if the lady (the non Thai) cooked it, she smiled wide and said she did! I tasted it and was pleasantly surprised.... Thai food in Mount Holly from a corner store cook WELL, by a non Thai Lady. This WAS pad Thai and it was pretty darn good.... I had the nuts, the spices, the shrimp (not skimpy either), the (Non Thai) lady even came out with a spice tray. Even more intrigued, I asked the (Non Thai) lady her name and it was Paula and I proclaimed her my new Thai food BFF. She made my experience here five stars. She took pride in her food, she was so accommodating and friendly. The pad Thai was seasoned very well, and I will be back to order that and try the Pho, the Larb, the hot dog and the wings (not at the same time). Aside from the great pad Thai, the pork egg roll was delicious as well! I sat back while enjoying my food... from the corner store...to people watch and it was the most eclectic group of people come through. Apparently this place also has a lot of folks that win the lottery and as I can see, a lot of folks that play the lottery. I will be back definitely. read more

Went by Le's quick stop (again) been there a bunch of times but I've never wrote a review. The parking lot is a bit sketch the first time you pull up. Their are potholes and not a lot of parking spaces. You go in and it's a standard small convince store on one side and what looks to be an old subway counter on the right. I've seen people get subs or wings but I've only ever ordered the Pho and the pad Thai. The pad Thai was good but they used thin vermicelli style rice noodles instead of the traditional kind but other than that the flavor was great. The pho is awesome, easily the best ove had in Gastonia and better than most places in charlotte (not Doan's tho, that stuff is near flawless) huge portions for only 8 bucks. Comes with the traditional add one but the last two or three times they've been outta basil to go with it. My wife and I have jokingly said we were gonna stop by the Laotian market on the way in next time and grab our own! I've eaten here a bunch and will continue to do so. I've heard people complain about seeing a roach every now and then on reviews. I've never seen any and they've got a 94 (A) sanitation score so I'm not worried about that. I've spent years working in restaurants, from low class to high class establishments and guess what, every single one has had a bug in the building from time to time. Hell, we keep out house neat and tidy and a palmetto bug will still get in from time to time and we don't have hundreds of people coming and going all day like a convienance store does. 5/5 read more

I was truly shocked at how good it was! This is such a little tiny, unassuming convenience store that I never even stopped at before. Now I will be finding a reason to go all the time! There is so much flavor packed in those little noodles with Chicken! Huge portions too! The Pho is just as good. Huge portions, loaded with all the fixings to make it great! They also have homemade egg rolls and spring rolls, and offer chicken wings, burgers, hot dogs, and even breakfast, but the hidden treat is truly the Asian food (alert, alert...if you get the Boom Boom wings, be prepared to have your lips feel like they are on fire). These people are so very friendly and make you want to just kind of hang out. Their is a small possibility that the entrance to the convenience store teleports is customer deep into middle Asia. The pad thai is perfect in every way. I think the hamburgers and the wings are a cover to attract southern simpletons and when they come in they are introduced to amazing authentic wonderful eastern cuisine. It food is great probably my fav takeout place in Mount Holly. Wings are good too but BEWARE... those Aisian zing boom boom wings will light you up like the 4th of July. This place has yet to disappoint! Usually go for the Chicken Pad Thai but the Pho is delicious as well. The Vietnamese spring rolls are also delicious. I was very impressed with this place. I was initially a little worried about the place from the outside. Small town gas station with a restaurant inside. But the food WOWed me. Me and my girlfriend both got the Pad Thai, a spring roll, and a soda. The Pad Thai was very tasty, had a good ratio of meat/veggies/noodles, and ultimately was so much food I couldn't finish. Together, our total cost was $15. That's for two orders of Pad Thai, two Spring Rolls, and two sodas. That price is unbeatable. The staff was also very attentive and friendly. The waitress/cook checked on us throughout the meal and made the experience pretty great. I only had the Thai food, but this place also makes sub sandwiches and hot wings. On 12/7/18 , there was a new cook. And... I have a request. The very nice man who usually makes the pad Thai should show her exactly what portions of everything that he adds to it. Everyone needs an opportunity to learn. The taste wasn't bad it was just too much of something ( the sauce, I think) which gave me REALLY bad heartburn after eating it.
