Honestly, moving's a b*tch. It's a lot of work and I hate it. But, San Diego Movers made me feel such at peace while we were moving to our new home. I was referred to San Diego Movers from my friend, and I called about two weeks before, and thankfully they were able to get me in. They were super quick at responding my texts/calls. (Which is really important) On the day of the move in, the movers came and packed my belongings so fast and efficiently. I had everything kind of like cornered and separated and some things were already packed in the box so I don't give them a hard time. But when the movers came in and packed my belongings, there were still a lot more. The whole move was very fluid. They made sure my belongings went to the right place like kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, etc. I like to cook, so I have a lot of antique dishes and kitchen appliances. They had this wooden crate to move only the valuables so it wouldn't break or damage. The move was from Irvine to Los Angeles, and everything took about 4 and half hours. The movers were friendly, I gave them some waters cause they work hard you know? (which you should offer some drinks and snacks, personally) I'm just glad everything went smoothly. I absolutely don't like moving and I find it very inconvenient.. call me lazy, but thankfully San Diego Movers did a great job at helping out. Making a commercial move so quickly and on a whim is never easy. This company was able to help me pack my heavy duty items and even my fragile items and get it from one place to another place. I was really worried for our glass table, which is fragile, but they were very good at communicating with us and helped us pack it appropriately so no damages were made. The workers here really care for your personal items and that's really hard to find. What I like most about this company was that their website was very clear in what services they offer and they respond in a timely manner. Customer service is great and hard to beat! We had an awesome and very professional experience with San Diego Movers! I called Saturday afternoon asking if it was possible to move by the next day, Sunday. We were given a relatively affordable quote for cash payment ($92-94/hour with a 3 hour minimum, everything included!) and easily scheduled for the next day. I received an email confirmation as well. The movers arrived on Sunday and with 3 dollies, and they were super careful when handling all of our stuff. Protective wraps and blankets were provided free of charge. They carefully wrapped our mattress, sofa, surfboard, etc. Our moving distance was about 10 minutes away and with 3 men working together, the whole move took about 2 hours and 10 minutes. I won't be using this company again. PROBLEM 1: I specified i needed help packing and moving and was told that was no problem. I was even asked about the number of boxes i needed. I had the reservation and all was set. They showed up with NO BOXES and left us in a bind having to run around on an already hectic day and get boxes and bags before we continued to be charged the per hour rate. PROBLEM 2: The truck they brought quickly filled, it was too small. I was never notified they were going to the second location. They just left without announcing it and once i saw the truck down the street i panicked not knowing what was happening with my belongings. Luckily they arrive at the second location but that was unprofessional and poor communication. PROBLEM 3: I told them i needed my apartment completely emptied. They ignored the request leaving everything in the kitchen including dishes, 12 cabinets and drawers for me to pack, load, and deliver myself. So i paid close to ONE GRAND to do hard labor myself and for an incomplete job. When I called them to ask they to return within a minute or two they wouldn't. PROBLEM 4: My water cooler filter was removed from a bottle and left in dust so I will have to pay to have that disinfect properly. PROBLEM 5: Movers also left to a store for a while unannounced which mad me very nervous about where my belongings were. I paid for these 30 minutes . PROBLEM 6: I am very disappointed. The packing was all serán wrap. No bubble wrap to protect important things. PROBLEM 7: When I called for different issues I got a voicemail line which was concerning and no one is available to assist you when you call in, only if they call you. It was time for me to move from my home because it was just too small for my big lifestyle, I didn't have enough garage space for my tools, motorcycles, and "toys." I found a gorgeous home just on the outskirts of San Diego and hopped on it in a flash!
