I spoke with Blanca who was very friendly and knowledgeable of what to expect. It was short notice but she made it happen with her scheduling. I was sent a list of questions to answer thru an email. Along the lines of where to be picked up from, where to be taken to, and what time we needed to be there. Based on my answers Blanca responded with an itinerary and price quote. We accepted and paid thru Zelle. I rode with my Mother (right next to her) in a more than adequate seat buckled in and feeling the powerful A/C on this hot east county afternoon. My mom is actually sleeping like a baby right now as I'm typing this (on the way back and almost home now). Once at Kaiser, Blanca and her associate walked my mom in with purpose and we were at the check in lobby 10 minutes early. Once called they wheeled her into the back and waited outside for the testing to be done. In fact their transportation gurney is so good and modern the Dr ended up using it for the lab testing. After the appointment Blanca stayed with us while her driver pulled the SGM van up. They loaded her up and we are now back at home with a flawless experience. For my ride back the doctor for a previous patient was running late and they kept me completely informed of when they would arrive. I wish to express my profound disappointment at being treated disrespectfully by USA Transport…read more As a severely disabled and bedridden senior who suffers from a debilitating nerve disease, I'm totally reliant on gurney level transportation for all my medical appointments. I'm unable to sit and only walk or stand for brief periods. I enjoyed a very cordial and warm relationship for months with my valued transport team, Junior and Carlos. In fact, I made USA Transport my preferred provider at Call the Car. My scheduled rides to see specialists are both local and as far away as the LA area and Orange County. So being in the company of drivers with whom I feel rapport is an important priority as a trip can be as long as 9-10 hours. I never dreamed that my preferred transport provider would ever treat me otherwise than the usual solicitous and kind manner I was accustomed to. Frequently I bring a caregiver along on gurney trips to help with preparation. However on this particular day, I was alone which makes it more challenging as I also have a vertigo condition and struggle with balance. Junior texted he was concerned we would be late with my pick-up time. When Junior arrived, he brought along his dispatcher, Claire, instead of Carlos, whom always treated me with the utmost concern on our trips. I was moving as fast as possible in spite of the vertigo. Claire was verbally expressing her displeasure and impatience with me, rolling her eyes and taking deep exasperated sighs, telling me to hurry up. I was feeling so much pressure from Claire, I couldn't think straight and forgot to bring along essential items like my medication and cell phone. After all that unnecessary stress, we were on time for my dental appointment. I privately shared later with Junior my discomfort level with Claire. He assured me she didn't mean to be disrespectful. I was willing to overlook it as stuff happens and move on. But the ultimate insult was to come. Junior had confirmed he had picked up my June 4th ride weeks before. The morning of June 4th I was getting ready and got a call from a different transport provider they were on their way. I texted Junior to ask what happened as he usually was very considerate in keeping me informed. They had never cancelled one of my rides before. I called Call the Car dispatch who said USA Transport rerouted the trip. I just assumed they had a conflict of some sort and went with the other provider. The kicker was when I called Call the Car back to further investigate, I learned USA Transport cancelled the ride "because of issues with the client!" I felt truly insulted Junior not only did not have the courtesy to call to tell me he cancelled the ride, but USA Transport essentially dropped me as a client without informing me! It was unprofessional, unkind and unbelievably inconsiderate to treat a loyal customer that way.

In the past, I asked that mom be picked up as soon as possible because of her age. Today we waited 1 hour and 15 minutes for our return ride. This is not the first time it has taken a long time. The drivers are very nice and helpful. But the older woman on the phone, said she was "aware of that" meaning my moms age. But that didn't matter to her. I do not recommend this company.

This is your go to place whether you have surgery or not to get some good R&R and you get to meet there that are friendly that are also having surgery and they also have an oxygen if you need to get treatment for that too, and if you need any type of care to get your hand and feet pedicure done, they will call it in and also if you need any type of prescription, they have someone come to you and bring it to you. Always very helpful and cheerful. The WORST: the food is terrible. Your workaround is to bring your own healthy, protein-based snacks. Every meal was cold if not barely tepid. With the exception of one meal out of 15 meals/snacks. Most meals and snacks were not healthy choices. Chicken/pork hot dog with veggie snack chips. Chicken lasagna was downright cold and had a strange overpowering lemony flavor. Snacks could be canned mandarin orange slices or merengues and a cheesecake cube. I had to ask for protein sources in lieu of the served meal. Every time. I'd ask for a simple scrambled egg, it would arrive overcooked and tepid. Otherwise times, substituting wasn't an option being told the kitchen was closed. Recommend ordering delivery. Something that can't be changed and is a con: the street noise at night can be VERY loud. However, Bella is one of the few recovery centers that is a certified medical recovery center. That's a huge selling point for me. I'd stay again and just plan on ordering food delivery.
