Mom bruises easily, but a Coast Care representative nonetheless reported "suspicious bruises" to hospice. Not true.I trusted this person. No other worker observed anything concerning, yet hospice was obligated to notify Adult Protective Services. Now my siblings and I are under investigation. And once we're in "the system" we have multiple family conferences, care, plans, etc. Hospice has been supportive and agrees the report was unfounded. Elder‑abuse is real and needs to be taken seriously. But this mistaken report has needlessly disrupted our family, and upset my mother. Dumb. Coast Care needs to train their people better.

I fell in love with the service then and I'm even more in love now. I had no idea that I could use One Medical as my primary and now that I know that, I am doing just that. In person appointments are easily available (usually the same day) and online visits are usually available within the hour. The offices are sleek and feel like a hotel lobby, not an infected hospital waiting room. There is spa water and I've never been in the lobby with more than two other people. There are no long waits and you can even do your labs on location, which I did. Once again, I love this service and hopefully this review isn't going to blow up my spot!

I recently scheduled an annual physical and was later hit with an unexpected bill because my insurance applies a rolling 365-day rule for preventive exams. That alone would have been frustrating but understandable. What made this unacceptable was how One Medical handled it afterward. I was given conflicting explanations about whether eligibility for annual physicals is verified. One leader told me One Medical does check eligibility for many plans and that mine was an edge case. Billing later told me they do not verify eligibility at all and that it is entirely the patient's responsibility. Those statements directly contradict each other. In a membership-based care model that explicitly markets coordination and prevention, this is a serious failure. The tone from billing was dismissive and rigid. Responsibility was shifted entirely onto me. Responses were slow. There was no ownership of the confusion they created, no acknowledgment that their own process failed, and no attempt to close the loop with anything resembling goodwill. The message was essentially "policy is policy," which completely undermines the point of paying a membership fee in the first place. What's most disappointing is that this was never my experience before. I had years of consistently good care with One Medical, including at their Phoenix office, where I never once encountered this level of rigidity, poor communication, or lack of accountability. This issue has been specific to the San Diego location. Since Amazon took over ownership, the service has become noticeably more restrictive and transactional. The quality of care and the member experience have steadily declined. What used to feel patient-centered now feels like a corporate operation hiding behind scripts and policies when something goes wrong. I paid the bill, but the trust is gone. For longtime members who joined One Medical for proactive care and transparency, this is not the experience you signed up for.

I dropped them off, name on each piece, including a small blanket. I visit the next day and she's wearing someone else's clothes. Her blanket no where to be found. When I went to pick up her clothes after her passing, they tried to give me a bunch of stuff that wants hers. And I only got back one shirt and 1 pant. Out of 4 tops and 3 pants I had bought her. -The place stinks -Nurses were good while we visited, other than that they didn't help her. -She got mrsa, within a week of her being there. No one noticed it until they had to call 911 to take her to the hospital, almost a week later. -Lost like 15 pounds in those 2 weeks. She wasn't eating and they didn't tried to get her to eat. -I asked all the questions, they "tried" to communicate, asked me different things she liked to eat to get her to eat, or liked to do so she can have some distractions. But nothing went any further than that. -Half of the time I visited I found her soiled. I visited every other day, as I was taking turns with my brother. All of this because we don't have the means for the good places. If your loved one doesn't have a voice, avoid this place. Because they won't take care of them at all. These are recommendations which have been recently suggested, phone-based calls on Molina Healthcare public phone number, several transfers, suggested phone numbers, ALL for nothing! Due to this year's change in insurance. I've had to suffer the ineptitude of Molina...particularey any mental health protocol. Shocking! and potentially harmful. 100% incompetent/ negligent. I was transferred at least 8 times, plus "call-back" numbers...simply trying to obtain a 10-15 minute appt with a genuine MD, specializing in Psychiatry. ALL I require is the continuation of existing meds prescribed by my last Dr. What's so hard about that? I spent from 11:30am to 4pm exhaustively TRYING to connect to a legit psychiatrist's office to make a simple appt!!! What the hell is wrong with you people?!? i USED TO TRUST YOU. 4 1/2 hrs is LONG ENOUGH!!!
