I did get an immediate response and Dida arrived the next day for estimate. I stressed how important eco products were bc i had been in and out of hospital for MCAS. I was originally quoted $150 for a clean On phone. I have a lot of "knick knacks" so that quote became $500 for less than 450 sq feet bc i asked for deep clean . I really only was asking to clean grates under fridge so I assumed "deep clean" I had asked not to clean inside of fridge. We eventually agreed to $300 and i had asked for two visits due to chronic health issue And More than two hours is too taxing for me. this was also forgotten when 2nd visit was Requested to finish. This price was still Utterly ridiculous but I wanted to support a small business during hard times in the world. I texted again To be sure it was crystal clear about chemical sensitivities and My inability to handle smells and offered my own products which was declined. I was given the names of products to be used. Yes i have ended up in the ER in past bc of chemical scents, Apparently this company does not understand that and also lies about being "green." I was very specific in consultation which was all forgotten . Bait and switch. I paid $250 for a small kitchen and tiny bathroom deep clean for two hours of work. We were to schedule the small bedroom and living room at the next visit for the remaining fee. I had asked to not pull out stove and to not clean fridge. It was about 170 sq feet yet so ridiculously overpriced. I had also been hobbling with a cane but had to re-shelve my bathroom shelves myself. I also had bought storage containers for what Dida called my knick knacks These were jars of herbs and bathroom toiletries. When it was time for The following appt (as i wanted it done in two separate meetings) the quote then was raised to $400!! the hassle of agreeing upon $300 for entire apt was quickly forgotten. I had then reached my limit and complained. This was justified (lied) as 6 hours of work yet they were here for less than two! My neighbor downstairs can verify the two hours, they would have had him as a client had they been honest. he was waiting on me to see if they were honest, and reputable. The quote was shocking and the arrival with toxic products was beyond appalling . Oven cleaner, comet, regular bleach, pine sol etc...Nothing at all green here. I asked at the time and didnt understand the reply, something about not being able to find parking. (My downstairs neighbor gave the driveway , yet Dida's helper arrived later with her own car and brought the cleaning agents. Its either taking advantage of someone with a mobility issue bc they live in SF (and the classic rip off San Franciscans even if not affluent) or just really shady unethical business practices. I gave Dida several chances but she justified with lies and excuses. She then went on to insult me when I confronted the shady lack of ethics. read more

Suedes came to clean my studio apartment this morning, and she did a superb job. She not only did the dishes, the laundry, and wiped down spots in the bathroom where she discovered bits of mold, but she also organized all the scattered items in my studio, as well as the dishes and laundry once they were washed and cleaned, among other acts. She did so much, and she did it all with care and meticulousness. I was home during this time, since I was nursing an injury, and I noticed that Suedes had a positive attitude throughout the entire job. Dida and her team left deep marks on my hardware floors so bad that the hardwood boards have to be replaced plus they must have drag a pail over the floors and the floors look like something spilled on them ,the marks start from the hallway to the bedroom. After a year of living through a major home renovation which kicked up untold amounts of dust and debris, a quality deep clean was in order. Based on Dida's many five-star reviews here on Yelp I reached out to her to see if her team might be available. That same day she made an appointment to come to my home to assess what was needed. She and her team member were kind and professional. They were able to quickly make a plan for the enormous project, schedule a date and time, and negotiate a price--which although considerable was fair. On the day of the cleaning, three team members worked for nine hours to complete the work. My home is an old craftsman with a lot of woodwork. Yet, no detail was left unaddressed. Dust was removed from every surface. Amazingly this included: under my bed, inside my kitchen cabinets, every light fixture, stair rails, wood trimming, and even the walls. Floors and windows were also cleaned beautifully. The work was a transformation. When they finished, I felt as though I was finally really coming home after so much time not ever quite feeling comfortable indoors. Highly recommend. read more

**UPDATE: Since writing this review, the owner got in touch and returned my house key. She apologized for taking so long to return it; took responsibility for the poor communication, and acknowledged the need for greater training and awareness on her team. I think she really wants to be successful in her business - my initial positive experience with her, and the other positive reviews here reflect that; I hope she makes the needed improvements to help her business stand out. My advice to others is to be clear with your expectations with her and the team and to share feedback often so that she has the opportunity to edit along the way. I've since parted ways with Dida and she now refuses to return our key. In addition to the fees we will incur when we leave our rental due to the fixtures her team broke, we now have to pay to have our locks changed. I had Dida's housekeepers come every 2 weeks to clean our 2bed apartment for almost one year. Dida and I had a positive initial meeting where we discussed my need for green products and thorough dusting because of my asthma. She also assured me the team spoke English. The team was initially good, but over time noticed the quality of service degrade over time. The team did not speak English which meant any requests I had (e.g., dishwasher is old and only cleans on heavy cycle) took multiple attempts through Dida - sometimes it worked but mostly after time I just stopped trying because it wasn't going anywhere. By Thanksgiving, they had broken a towel bar-Twice! - and had stopped dusting anywhere but in the obvious places. By Christmas, they took my $150 and didn't even bother to clean the bathrooms. I complained to Dida and the team came back - this time using Clorox in the Master Bath which caused my asthma to flare up because they didn't shut the bathroom door when they left (something I had also requested they do w heavy products). They also smashed one of the bathroom vanity lights, leaving the filament in the socket. Things break, it happens. But, we were never given a heads up or offered reimbursement for the broken items. We had Dida and her crew come in for a post construction clean after a full-gut remodel. I have dust allergies and wanted to make sure the space was clean for our baby. She was EXTREMELY detailed in cleaning everything from all sides of the interior kitchen cabinets to the tracks of the windows. They even had blazes to deal with any residual paint/material left on the windows. I was blown away by how detailed they were. Yes, she is expensive, but to me it was worth it to have a dust-free home. Our construction company had brought in their own cleaners but it was amazing what they missed. Dida came out beforehand to assess and I was impressed that she knew exactly where the nooks and crannies were that the previous cleaning crew missed. She was easy to communicate with via text, and super responsive when I asked for her to only use water and vinegar to clean. When the job was done she did a thorough walk through with me and fixed the handful of places that weren't totally clean. There really isn't another cleaning company that specializes in post-construction deep cleaning and understands what that entails. Could be better if my child did it. I paid insane amount of money to have my place cleaned. I hardly have any furniture and both of my bathrooms had just gone through a remodel. I keep finding areas where they have missed either dust or dirt. Didn't clean freezer at all, just the upper part where you could see. Didn't dust a bunch of things. I could do better myself. Let's say that the only thing this clean up that lasted 4 hours and had 3 ppl working was worth $600 is because they washed my windows. I wouldn't hire them again. I keep cleaning after them. I specifically asked for the walls to be dusted since there was dust everywhere. It was not really done, as I found spider webs in the corner. I just can't believe that these people, whom I trusted to help me out once in a lifetime, got paid more than I do and didn't do a good job. Blinds where pull up to be cleaned the window traps, Dida or Margie never pull the blinds back down after cleaning, and some other stuff in the house as well.
