    Honey bread

When you're in the area, why not try something different? I've never had Yemeni food before so was happy to see establishment within walking distance of the theater. We had their coffee and a spice of rose milk cake and saffron milk cake. Kids had a refreshing mango drink which they lapped up. We also had a large honey bread that didn't really taste like honey. Had all kinds of other flavors like sesame and salt. Not very sweet at all but a great collaboration of flavors. Must try. Coffee is like chai. I'm more a purist when it comes to coffee and tea unless it blows my tastebuds. Too many spices for me but you might like it. Tastes more like tea than coffee as well.

I've never had turkish style coffee's, so disclaimer I am a big newbie here. I first took a sip of one of there most popular drinks, a cream and cardamom iced coffee, and I thought I had made a hugh mistake. It tasted nothing like the Starbucks iced americanos I'm used to. I added a little sugar because that's how I like it and I continued to sip away. Then I really started noticing and appreciating the silky delicate flavors that were subtly being presented. And the more I drank the more I really actually started to LOVE this coffee. I accepted the fact that this ain't no American coffee and that this is a delicacy of unique flavors. I'm a coffee lover, and what a treat it was to add this new style of coffee in my life. I was fully energized after, not overwhelmingly, and I cannot wait to go back again. This place has plenty of dessert options as well, from red velvet cakes to Turkish sweets. The inside is elegantly decorated with crystal style chandeliers and clean tables. Friendly service as well. Also plenty of charging stations. Nice place for a quick study or two person meeting.

I appreciate the warning. Also, I love my coffee scalding hot. So, I am looking forward to this.

I am I so happy there's a proper cafe near the theater. I always want a sweet treat or coffee after the show. My first time trying Yemeni coffee and I am intrigued. I will definitely be back soon so that I can try the other specialty/Yemeni coffees.

Delicious adeni chai, placed in the center of Hollywood, was very welcomed on a long day. Service is fast, got the tea within a few minutes! Rich, just the right sweetness, and piping hot. The spot can get incredibly crowded given the location. It's also a nice spot for people watching with the big windows - we watched a crew shooting a film!

This was a treat to be able to have something I wasn't expecting. I was thinking it would be just another corner cafe, but I was surprised to walk into a Yemeni themed cafe that is run by people with style. I had just seen a band perform a Persian song the night before, so this fit right in with the vibe I was feeling. The coffee list was extensive, not just flavored espresso drinks, but actual different roasts. I was a little overwhelmed by the choices and lack of sleep the night before, so I went with a latte. It was creamy and delicious. Not too sweet, and the espresso roast was well balanced. Since I was on a mini vacation I opted for cheesecake for breakfast. Not just any cheesecake, it was pistachio! It had the right amount of sweetness while letting the light nutty flavor come through. There were also many Yemeni style pastries and breakfast offerings to choose from. It all looked so delicious! On a January Friday morning it was nice and relaxing. A few other people were there sharing stories and catching up as well. Skip the big chains and support a local shop that is run by people that care about their craft.

The pistachio baklava was meh. One of the ingredients they used tasted off. The espresso was fine. Nice decor inside. Service is self-service. I would pass and look for other options.

Went to this location on a fly when we were in the area and I knew it had to be good based solely on the location: Hollywood & Vine is one of the most iconic corners in the city. We tried the Biscoff cookie Butter Tres Leche cake and it was good. We got the Spanish Latte and the Yemeni Latte and they were so good. Well, our drinks lived up to it. They were so good, we visited the Sacramento location a few weeks later. Service was good, tables were clean. We will go here again when in the area!

Second trip to Sana and this time I enjoyed my late so much more! I ordered the rose late with almond milk and it was perfect! The temp was right, it wasn't too sweet and the rose flavor was prominent. I also really enjoyed the texture because it was very creamy, which is sometimes difficult with almond milk. The place can get busy, so expect to wait for a table but they do have bar style seating as well. And it's so close to the Pantages which makes for a perfect spot after a show. They play international songs which makes it nice to just sit relax and enjoy your coffee and music.

I got the Spanish latte with a Pistachio Cheese Cake and my gf got the Pistachio Latte with Tiramisu Milk Cake. So yummy!

Such a great place for coffee. You can always taste the richness. Been here many times and it hasn't disappointed. I got the Spanish latte and my girl got the pistachio latte as suggested by the staff. It needed some sweetener, but other than that, flavor was great! We also got some desserts. My girl got the tiramisu milk cake and I got the pistachio cheesecake. They look really sweet but they're not. Which is perfect. My cheesecake was a creamy delight with pieces of pistachios atop. Yum! My gf's tiramisu milk cake was such a light treat and not too sweet. Our fave is the biscoff milk cake, but they were out. Cute seating and the service is really good. Our waiter was sweet. It's on Hollywood Blvd so it's great entertainment as well lol ;)

The SANA'A Coffee House feels like home. As a Greek person it's nice to see Greek coffee or in this case Turkish coffee sold and its most authentic state. The cuisine is across the board from baklava to chicken schwarma baked rolls to cakes and every version of coffee manageable from drip to Greek. I love my time here. It's perfect to journal and enjoy also one of the cleanest restrooms in all Of Hollywood and we appreciate that as locals. The kindness of the wait staff is truly from the heart!

This coffee shop if right off the Hollywood strip. Very convenient for a quick coffee break. Inside it's very pretty, nicely decorated and very clean. The girl who took my order was very helpful as I was a little unsure about what to order. I ended up getting a rose latte which unfortunately I didn't love. I felt like it was extremely sweet and didn't even taste like rose

Customer service was very good and friendly. I always pass by this place after leaving the gym but it's always full and seats are taken. However, I came here around 8am and only 2 people were here...thank god ! I got the iced caramel macchiato and it was so good and well balanced. Had a lot of Ice the way I like it. Cons: I wish they had bigger cups if I'm paying $7.50 for coffee

We came on Memorial Day around 3pm, and we waited in a decent line. It was fast-moving, and thankfully, we managed to get a table in the indoor seating area right away. To-go was not an option because we'd ordered the signature mango sticky rice shaved ice, which is HEFTY. It's like eating a dessert meal in terms of serving size, but it's light and fresh enough to follow a Thai food lunch from one of the nearby restaurants (which is what we did). The mango sticky rice shaved ice was delicious. If you like either mango sticky rice or Taiwanese mango shaved ice (or Korean bingsoo), you will love this. It's served with condensed milk, sticky rice, and additional mango on the side to add on as you eat. It's definitely enough for at least 2-3 people to share. We also had a couple orders of gelato, which surpassed our expectations. One of us, who spent 4 months in Italy, said it was some of the best gelato she'd ever had. Standout flavors included jasmine matcha and Earl Grey Thai tea. Do yourself a favor and stop by! We got pretty lucky with parking because all the nearby meters were free for Memorial Day, and I can imagine parking might be difficult at night. But this dessert is well worth a parking hassle!

These trompe-l'œil pastries--French desserts designed to "deceive the eye" by looking like real fruit--are as impressive as they are delicious. Light, fresh, and perfectly balanced, with just the right touch of sweetness. We also had their matcha drink, which was just as good. A bit pricey, but worth the indulgence.

Hands down worth the drive, it's the best dessert option they have. Creamy balanced flavors, well layered, and with a texture that is irresistibly fun to eat. I love the heart container. We bought almost all of every piece dessert except for two along with the ice cream bites. Needless to say, we were not impressed. Each pastry had the same lingering aftertaste which was odd, the fresh strawberry topping was old, the gelatin like texture did not complement the watery centers, and the outside chocolate shell had no flavor. Of course, if you like these details of texture, you may dig it! Just definitely not for me. The ice cream bites resemble a frozen yogurt like texture and although I appreciate the all natural fruit product, the flavors didn't quite come through. The space inside is small, clean, and cozy. We weren't really warmly welcomed but did receive a kind goodbye after we picked up our order and had tipped generously. The Togo boxes could use improvement as they were so flimsy and hard to store in the fridge. The carry out bag is SO nice though. We're happy to have supported the business but will not drive out there again. Try your luck, it is fun to explore!
