I work nearby and had recently been coming here to order a Cha-Ron drink which is Thai tea with evaporated and condensed milk to sweeten it. I noticed the last several times I made this order, it was bitter and I realize they haven't been putting the milk. Today I went up to the register to ask for them to add the milk/creamer and the girl at the counter kept trying to tell me that my drink is just hot tea. I let her know it needs the milk or sweetener they usually add and she told me if I wanted it sweetened I can add sugar which they have on the side near the utensils. I almost walked away, but instead I pulled up their menu on the kiosk and called her back over to tell her that on their menu it says Cha-Ron includes evaporated and condensed milk. Then she added it to my drink. I don't know why that was so complicated to ask. I didn't appreciate the back and forth and probably won't come back here again because the last few times I ordered this drink it was wrong and they seem to be confused when I question it. read more

Came here because it's close to Pantages. I ordered the Carbonara crepe and at 11:30, they're already sold out, so I got a Tuna and Corn crepe instead. I loved the mayo they used, but felt that the overall taste was overpowered by the tuna, and I also would have liked if the crepe had some crisp to it. My boyfriend got the ham and cheese sandwich, and he didn't like that it came with whole wheat bread, or that the cheese wasn't heated. I got a Thai tea as a drink, and thought it was just okay, mainly because I prefer when the taste is richer. They also served it with a ton of ice that it almost reached the brim. I'd consider coming back for their sweet crepes when I'm in the area again. read more

I found this spot through yelp, it appeared small from the outside, once we went in it was much more spacious. We went there for breakfast, ordered breakfast sandwiches that came with fruit, coffee lates and an Americano. Everything was prepared well, it was tasty and prepared quickly. Friendly staff. The only reason I didnt rate it a 5 star is due to the difficulty finding parking. read more

There's not another place like Morning Kitchen that I've experienced. This is an exciting, bright & yummy breakfast, lunch & drink spot with unique menu options This place just cares. The staff are friendly and helpful. The place is full of handmade dressings and snacks and pastries for purchase. Cold water, cups, utensils, straws, napkins available at the self serve bar. Clean tables inside and outside. We ordered the egg drop, club sandwich, milk tea boba and Black Forest. Everything was SO good. I think egg drop had the best eggs I've ever had. So fluffy and so many- like 3 or 4. Very filling and delicious. I can't wait to come back to Morning Kitchen for another meal :) read more

Let me first start off by telling you that you must get the Shibuya honey toast. You will not regret it. SHIBUYA HONEY TOAST Sweet butter toast comes with vanilla ice-cream, whip cream and fresh fruit (strawberries and bananas). Each bite was packed with a crunch from the toast, sweetness from the honey and whipped cream and freshness from the fruit. Eggs Drop Scramble egg and cheese with Brioche Bread, Scallion and House. It was a little messy with the sauce so maybe get less sauce. Everything on the menu sounded delicious. I was going back-and-forth but since we were a party of 4, I was able to try both of these. Their crepes look delicious so definitely would love to try one next time. Staff was a friendly. There are about 5 tables inside and 2 tables outside. Absolutely a gem! We got a breakfast crepe, an egg sandwich and two drinks. Everything was prepared with care and was presented so beautifully. The food was delicious and filling. Holy Moly, I stopped on my way here to try some crepes and it's SO SO SOO worth for the quantity and quality that I received. Thai crispy Crepe (Ham, cheese and Corn) this crepe is massive. I was shocked at its size when I received it. The presentation was unbelievable, I'm shocked how the crepe was able to retain its structure while I took it as to go. The shell of the crepe is so crispy like an ice cream cone. The toppings were very generous too! I'll definitely visit again to try their other dishes while dining in. Ham and Corn were a great combo, however I felt the cheese tasted a bit artificial to me. Parking: Downside was finding parking. Cute little unsuspecting cafe that serves delicious food! I showed up with 2 others for breakfast. We walked up to the counter where we were warmly greeted and placed our order to dine in. The establishment was extremely clean. It was simply decorated with a sense of community, that provided both low and high tables seating. The 3 of us all ordered a regular good ole fashion breakfast platter that consisted of 2 hard fried eggs, one of us had bacon, the other 2 had ham, we had brioche toast, fresh fruit and lavender matchas. The food was freshly prepared! The fruit was sliced and diced right before our eyes, which consisted of bananas, strawberries, blackberries, blue berries, raspberries, kiwi and grapes! Alrighty now!!! Not that dull fruit that we all have had to settle for...you know, that frozen, tasteless, cantaloupe, honeydew, and shriveled up grapes. One sip of the lavender matcha and we knew that it was made with great care! Perfectly balanced flavor, served in a 12 oz clay mug that kept it warm for the entire time we ate. When it comes preparing a lavender matcha, the bottom line is this, Starbucks baristas could learn a lesson or two, heck, maybe even three from this place! Before I end my review I want to mention that this establishment isn't overflowing with staff. There was only the cook and the cashier. Therefore, if you go please be on your best behavior. What a super cute coffee/breakfast/lunch spot with good food and a lovely ambiance! I've always passed by this place and wanted to stop in, and today I finally chose to sit and enjoy a meal. The exterior is cheery and inviting, and when I stepped inside I was met with a clientele of families and happy people who seemed to be enjoying their food. A good sign. It's counter service, so I picked up one of their crepe menus at the register and surveyed their delicious looking sweet and savory options. They actually have two menus, the crepe specific one and a more extensive menu that includes drinks, waffles, sandwiches, and other options. I chose a savory crepe with egg, tomato, scallion, and feta. The food took about 15 minutes to arrive at my table -- impressively quick given all the employees were preparing food nonstop since I arrived. And the portion was huge! The woman who brought me my plate directed me to a comprehensive self-serve condiment bar, which deserves its own paragraph of praise. The thoughtfulness of this self-serve station. They had hot sauce. They had salt. They even had mayo!!!!! But the crowning glory was the inclusion of two different water options: ice cold and room temp. As someone who prefers room temp water, this was incredible. I will certainly be returning for Cute Breakfast...I have to try their drinks and sweet crepes. read more

I came by here to for satisfy my sweet tooth and was not disappointed. The cafe's exterior and interior have a quaint, cutesy kind of vibe. Parking is on the street, but I didn't have any trouble finding parking during Sunday brunch. This place seems to specialize in Asian, specifically Thai-style sweets and light brunch. The drink options are also Asian/Thai. I ended up trying the Shibuya Honey Toast, Crunchy Thai-style crepe, Mango Sticky rice, and Esyen. Service is quick and they bring the food out to you. The mango sticky rice was quite good, the rice was delicious with the coconut milk and the mango was perfectly ripe, it would've been a treat in it's own. The Shibuya Honey Toast was a deliciously light, fluffy, and flavorful treat. The bread is a thick slice of Asian-style toast that is partially soaked with caramelized honey. It comes with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, sliced strawberries, and bananas on the side. The Thai-style crepe is an extra thin crepe that is extra thin, crunchy, and coated on the inside with thin layer of Nutella. Bananas were neatly sliced and arranged inside the crepe in a really presentable manner. This was surprisingly good, quite different from the usual banana Nutella crepe. Lastly, the Esyen coffee, which is also Thai, was well-balanced, lightly sweet, and refreshing. If I'm craving a lightly sweet, Asian-style breakfast I would definitely come here again when I'm in the area! read more

The least expected, the most delightful breakfast I've had in awhile. We ordered Honey French toast and club sandwich, and dare I say, reminded me of my mom's cooking. The club sandwich had such a perfect combination of every ingredient, perfectly seasoned. Then the honey toast was crazy good. I personally don't fancy toasts as much as others do, but this one was so crunchy on the edge and soft in the middle, and it came with cream, ice cream on top, and syrup. They also had thai milk tea coffee called Ko Pi Charm, it was basically coffee mixed with Thai milk tea. Service was friendly and ambiance was quick grab to go. I couldn't understand the word she was saying so I said "sorry can you repeat that" and she did but I still couldn't understand. I felt terrible for not understanding and she sighed really loud and rolled her eyes at me. She turned her screen around and I was able to read the word she meant.
