I signed up for Yelp Just because of the service I received at Sanborn Chevrolet I went in because I was having some smoke coming out of my exhaust the people in the service department seem very nice at first when I went back a guy named Kevin rudely told me to go have a seat inside of their Holdings sell. I sat and waited a good one hour before they told me I have a broken head gasket and they can repair it for $1,300... when I told them I simply don't have that amount of money they asked me if I wanted to trade in or buy a car I told him I couldn't do either of those things they told me they could temporarily repair the gasket for $200 which I gladly took them up on. the car ran fine and I made it to work in Sacramento so apparently you can go and buy a car or trade a car and pay $1,300 or so apparently they will rig your car for two hundred bucks because they'll take whatever they can off of you. Looking at the reviews I find it hilarious that they would hire her or have their wives put reviews in for them and they even named their husbands or their boyfriends at Sanborn! The place looks nice when you drive in and the people seem kind enough before they charge you 5 times as much as they should. ALL the reviews with 5 stars are either paid for or it's someone that works there because it's obvious this place is either going out of business or is about to sell their company to some foreign investorswhichever one it is I really don't care I'm just glad I got my car home after dealing with these scumbags. enter at your own risk from now on I'm checking Yelp reviews without 5 stars when you look at the realistic reviews on this you understand that this place does shady business with Shady peoplev I gave you two stars because you got me to work but the other three are down because you tried to rip me off I should not the other one off too because when you realized I wasn't Rich you treating me like a piece of crap way to go Chevy read more

A heads-up to any one that might need this service. So, my car had several recalls on it and Chevy finally got the parts in. I called Sanborn Chevrolet in Lodi and unfortunately they don't have loaner vehicles. I thought about calling around for a Chevy dealer that would be more convenient, but then figured out a way it would work by just having Sanborn pick take me over to get my husband's truck while he was at work. Well, when I got back to pick up my car, there were some difficulties (to say the very least) with the recall replacement parts. So, I just waited -- it wasn't Sanborn's fault. After a couple more hours, and some more complications, I found out my car would not be ready by the time I had to pick up my son and head to Rocklin for his b-ball tournament. Well, the service department just went so far above and beyond to accommodate me in my situation. The service advisor found a way to get me in a vehicle rented at Enterprise, at no charge to me!!! He even drove me over to Enterprise, in his personal vehicle due to my time constrictions, and he had me in a car and on my way within 15 minutes. I did get a call this morning stating that they had fixed the vehicle and I could pick it up by the end of business today. I made sure to let them know, when I picked up my car, what a great team they have. I had no clue that I was talking to the service manager and the general manager of the dealership!!! Thank you, Sanborn Chevrolet, for being so awesome! They have the friendliest staff (Andrew is a rock star!) and went (literally) out of their way to help me. A few months ago, a rodent died in the AC of a car I have in storage. (I didn't know this while I was running the AC full blast on my to the dealer.) As I live in Sac and the car was stored in Galt, I was trying to figure out how to get the car to Sanborn. Andrew kindly mentioned that he lived in Sac and said he could pick me on his way into work. I was so grateful! I ended up finding another way there, but I truly appreciated his offer. He also managed to find someone to drive me back to Galt. (No shuttle that day and I was nervously going to try Uber for the first time.) I had to take the car back in a couple weeks ago for a faulty gas pedal. Again, I was helped by the nicest staff and they got it fixed in a few hours, although they were down 3 mechanics because of the flu. Normally, I hate going to new mechanics, but I didn't feel intimidated like I have in the past. I also felt they thoroughly explained what was going on with the car. They were great! read more

We have been relying on Jason Curl to maintain our vehicles for years, which has been a wonderful experience, we always recommend our Friends and Family. We decided to purchase a vehicle for our Son. This was the best experience I have ever had a at a dealership. I have purchased 4 other Chevy vehicles at 3 other dealerships and this was hands down a smoother more pleasant transaction in every way. Mike the Sales Manager and San the Salesman were great to work with. They kept me updated every step of the way on my vehicle order and went above and beyond to make sure I was a satisfied customer. From Day 1 Mike patiently went through every option and didn't make me feel rushed to make sure I customized my 2500 Silverado exactly how I envisioned. From then on he provided me weekly updates until one day San took the time to send me a video of my truck being unloaded and delivered to the dealership because he knew I was eagerly awaiting its arrival. On October 12 2016 I went to Sanborn Chevrolet in Lodi to look at some great deals, right away I found a Red 4x4 Silverado that I feel in love with, the only problem was that the rebates were on the truck next to it. My sales person was Terrie Wilson, I told her I wanted the red one and asked if she could switch the rebate from the silver to red, she I had the best answer "I don't know but I will ask" she returned and said we can't until the 18th, I said I will see you then she replied to my comment with I will be happy to serve you when you return, but keep in mind this vehicle is for sale to anyone, " not unless you put a secure deposit down to hold it". I said good point, she took me in to the finance dept were she introduced me to David Keams, Terrie explained what I wanted, then Dave wrote me a receipt for my $500.00 deposit. My good friend took his Tahoe to Sanborn for repairs. The cost of the fix was going to be expensive so he made a verbal agreement to trade it in when they were able to get in the new vehicle he wanted. Four months went by without any updates from the dealer so he decided he was going to tow his Tahoe out of there and take it somewhere else. Upon arriving at Sanborn they had decided without his consent to do the repairs and his vehicle and wouldn't let him take the vehicle unless they pulled out the new parts. They proceeded to pull out the new parts and leave most of his engine IN THE BACK OF HIS TAHOE! He took it to a new mechanic shop to get the work done and proceeded to get a phone call that not even all the parts were put back into his Tahoe by Sanborn!
