This is the fifth business vehicle I have had repaired here. And only one was a Chevrolet. When I picked it up, it was promised and delivered on time. My car was washed and clean inside and out and I felt like I got a new car. Eric Wagner and Elizabeth were there to answer any questions I had. Little to no communication. If you take your vehicle here, be prepared to do all the legwork for status updates and information you will need along the way. They had my vehicle for inspection for three weeks and found nothing wrong with it. Took it to an OEM after and they discovered all the issues I reported during their half-day inspection. They also found additional concerns which were all covered by my extended warranty. Sanborn replaced the insulation on a door which wasn't even necessary. At the OEM they discovered that it was the vapor barrier that was missing and was causing a leak whenever it rained. read more

I recently had the unpleasant experience of dealing with Rita at the Sanborn Collision center. I found her to be rude, unhelpful and standoffish. Interestingly, while I was there she was sweet as maple syrup to a lady who walked in before me. When I got to the counter her entire demeanor changed and not for the better. I can't figure her out but I can tell you things were much friendlier when John ran the Collision Center. Thankfully the folks at American Auto Body were nice and I scheduled my work there. Whomever hired Rita made a big mistake and I have to think she will be gone soon. For now it's bye bye Sanborn. read more

These guys did an AMAZING job on my car after I was rear-ended. It took 2 weeks but I had a lot of damage so it wasn't too bad of a wait. When my car was finished, they cleaned my car beautifully inside and out so it was shiny and spotless when I got it back (it was a disaster before they got it) I definitely recommend going to them for an repairs or collision repair if you have it!! This is the worst dealership ever. I purchased a 2000 camaro z28 that they taxed me on for 9000 2 weeks after having the vehicle my car was wet in the inside due to window seal on passenger side. No biggie i fixed it but the my car would not start i took it back to dealership they said it was my audio. They said my installer hit a starter or ignition relay which caused my car not which is b.s. so they replaced it and sent me on the way. Another 2 weeks later same problem and now it wont start at all only have car about 2 months or so this is the worst dealership i ever dealt with. Also car has a major oil leak these guys are a joke. Soon as deal is done they just want to collect cash and boot you out. I dont recommend no 1 buy any vehicle from joke place. Youll just end up in the same boat. Now i have to come out of pocket and try to get my car towed to a auto shop so they can charged me until they figure the REAL issue. read more

I was hit by a driver who ran a red light. Sunborn was the closest places and I regret it. My dad took it the first time and picked it the first time. They took a month which was fine I understand we had to wait for original parts. When my dad picked it up the first time he had to return it because the front censor was not working and lights came on. The fixed it and was ready the next day. It was fine for about 2 weeks and them they came back. Then I took it, they told me that they couldn't do anything until Honda said it was because of the accident. My issue is that they didn't even go to see what the lights were. If they would have taken less then 5 minutes they would have seen it was the same lights that they fixed the first time. I took it to Honda and by just looking at the lights they said it was the same issue as before. They took it in when my dad returned it. Then they took about a week and a half to fit it. Again it would have been fine if they communicated that but I had to call my insurance to get updates and get them to work on my job. If you do not have a male with you they will not listen to you. read more

This body shop is a joke. I've recently been in a collision and was asked by the individual paying for the damage to get multiple estimates. This place was the last i went to after several very well known and reputable body shops in stockton. Sanborn Collision Center had given me an estimate only half of the damage repairs estimated by two 5 star worthy body shops i had gone to previously, while also only fixing half the damage, because the rest was "outrageous" and didn't 100% need to be done, but could "use" doing, and were tolerable to just leave, instead of giving an estimate to repair my vehicle to what it had been prior to said accident... yeah, seems kinda odd to me that a body shop doesn't want to estimate a good amount of necessary work to make money supporting their craft, weird right?. Outrageous to fix a vehicle to its original condition? I call that outlandish. I had found out later that the man i was dealing with is a close friend to the guy paying for the damage out of pocket because he didn't want to deal with insurance, and convinced the man to give me the lowest estimate possible (whilst not even repairing the damage done) so that he could avoid actually paying for what really needed to be done. The man i dealt with had told me that the unnecessary work was just better to leave and pocket the cash, instead of repairing for business revenue? I call this shady business, to an honest person wanting nothing more than the repairs necessary. I honestly have no clue how this place stays in business. Above all, do not deal with a shady individual named Dan Votaw, what a joker. And quite frankly, for quality work, i would avoid this place completely. There are far better body shops several exits down highway 99 that do 5 star grade AAA+ work. Look for Crivello's and Cavvalino Coachworks for the best work in the area. read more

He kept us up-to-date through the entire process, contacted the insurance company when more damage was located and never left us in the dark about anything.
