I went to Dr Sanchez yesterday for the first time. It was the most pleasant experience I have ever had at a dental office. My daughter recomended him to me when I moved to Tracy. He was way more thorough inspecting my mouth for anything that could be going wrong. It made me feel very secure and that I would be well taken care of in this ofice. The hygientist took the time to explain what was going on with my teeth and gums. She showed what could be done to get them healthy again. The staff was the BEST ever! They set up a plan to take care of the things that needed to be done. I said I would be paying cash and they gave me a 15% discount! I was looking for a dentist around Tracy and stumbled upon the great ratings of this dental office in Yelp. The ratings really speaks for Dr. Sanchez's practice. He is a friendly, nice and a great dentist! His staff is VERY VERY attentive. They really want you to feel comfortable in there. Have you ever heard of anyone almost dozing off to sleep while the dentist worked on their teeth (2 crowns)??? I have...ME!!! Like many, I'm not a fan of dentist visits. From the start, Dr. Sanchez and company put me at ease. First, the front desk staff, Paula and Melissa are welcoming and friendly. Then, Dr. Sanchez and his assistant Megan were gentle and thorough. I liked how Dr. Sanchez let me know what he's doing throughout the procedure to keep me informed. The equipment he uses are modern and just plain fancy! Overall, I am very happy with his work. My husband has been going to Dr. Sanchez for the past 12 years and I will continue to do so as well. I also just received a welcome card in the mail today...so nice! They are very detailed and know their stuff when it comes down to treatment scheduling, as well as insurance and payment options. They are very flexible and will work with you no matter what your monetary situation is! The hygienists are very gentle and really care about their patients; I've never had my teeth feel that clean after leaving a cleaning! Dr. Sanchez is one of a kind! I have a deep rooted fear for dentist as many people do and it's been years since I even had the nerve to go to a dentist found this guy and just change my opinion about dentist all together. Extremely knowledgeable and professional dentist and an equally professional and knowledgeable office staff. Extremely accommodating and working with one's schedule even in emergency situations. The dentist and hygienist explain everything in detail which is something I have never experienced before in other dentist. Just love these girls! I never have to wait more than 2 or 3 minutes to get into a chair and the cleanings are very thorough. They always send me home with a goodie bag and I just wouldn't go anywheres else... the Dr has the best numbing technique and steady hands, lol, a must for any Dentist working in my mouth. read more

First off, I am terrified of the dentist. So much so, that even when I had a toothache I still wouldn't go, and now I'm paying for it and has to go in. I originally tried to get into a different dentist and they were unable to accommodate my emergency so I called De Sanchezs office. I'm so happy I did! I told them about my fears and they have been excellent cheerleaders and have worked super hard to make me feel comfortable and not judged. They are gentle and kind and I can say, I'm getting over my fear.....slowly. I highly recommend them if you are a fearful person like me. I was looking for a dentist in Tracy. I was recommended to Dr Carlos Sanchez. From the first call to my visit - it's hard to find the words to describe my visit. The office staff is very friendly, and going back for a full set of X-rays with the highest equipment. Then I had the pleasure of meeting the dentist. He went over all my X-rays and what he felt we should do. Very easy to talk to and he didn't make me feel that he had to rush. This office is amazing!!! Office is clean, their billing practices are not. I came in earlier this year (April) to get a tooth extracted, because a previous filling had cracked taking part of the tooth with it and had ruined the integrity of the tooth so much so that I was told by multiple dental offices that a root canal "might" work. I was on a limited income at the time and chose to just extract it as it was starting to become infected/inflamed. I also have a tooth in which the filling came out as well and I tried to get something at least temporary done until I had the funds (that did not happen until a third visit, instead while they were in my mouth they chose to replace a filling that I did not ask for). I set up a payment plan with them, made sure that everything was okay with my insurance, etc etc. Then today in the mail, I get a letter from a bill collector claiming that I owe this dental office $298.00. Nevermind, the fact that I was assured on multiple occasions before and after the extraction that all financial was squared away. So now I'm left with potential ding on my credit, a missing tooth, a tooth that needs to be worked on and a bridge that I still need. I will not and have not come back to this office since. Thanks for screwing me over. read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Sanchez for the past 4 years. He is the most thorough dentist that I have ever been too. He has a very calm demeanor and explains everything as he does his work. My husband is not a fan of needles....I talked him into switching dentists because he does such a great job of numbing you. Seriously, he is that good and very professional. I had a cavity, first one since I had baby teeth, and I was terrified because I remember the dentist having to inject the numbing agent into my gums to work on my teeth when I was little and it really hurt. I was so scared of the pain that I put off going to the dentist for years. Dr. Sanchez was so amazing! He used a numbing cream and waited until it took full effect to begin. I swear I didn't even feel him stick the needle in. I was waiting for him to start and he was already well into the procedure. He's so calm and stays positive that it's hard to be nervous around him. I had always hated going to the dentist and after a prolonged avoidance of them, I suspected that I had at least 1 cavity and knew that I really had to break down and make an appointment. As it turned out, I had cavities in each of my back teeth and I was not at all looking forward to the visit that was going to take care of those cavities. I set the drills & needles appointment, showed up, and was excrutiatingly pleased that this multiple-cavity appointment wasn't anything like I had remembered dental visits being when I was younger. Dr. Sanchez talks you through the whole process, which really relieved me in knowing that certain things were finished and that progress toward the finish line was approaching quickly. There weren't any surprises or 'oops's. I go back now on a regular basis and the visits really couldn't be more pleasant. His staff is friendly, scheduling is easy, and appointments are on time.
